**Finnegan's Tradehouse** Like an amorphous stain in the sky, the breach in the pocket reality that housed the tradehouse spread open, and [something horrifying beyond description](http://static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/11111/111119340/3557687-6846019409-emrak.jpg) crawled through it. Its hundreds of clawing, grasping tendrils seized hold of the sky, pullings its burgeoning mass into the same dimension as Finnegan's. Is enormous form eventually could not fit through the hole and so forced the breach wider with the sheer force of its unthinking will. The more of it that appeared, the more clear it was that this creature was not something that should exist in a stable reality. Its form twisted and warped, colors and lights spreading across it haphazardly, as though electromagnetic waves were confused by its presence and unsure of how to react to it. Even as it slowly crawled out of hyperspace, its presence on the tradehouse's dimension had a visible effect. Reality seemed to be draining away; the very sky around had its color drained away before fading to darkness. All that was peeled away to nothing, leaving only a palpable emptiness behind. Painfully slow it descended, blocking out the artificial sun of the dimension, and all that was the Aeon Brood became plain to see, for all that the mortal eyes below it could comprehend. Larger than their minds could fathom, its true might hidden by what they could not comprehend. Something not meant to be, a painful, bleeding tear in reality. And yet it was more than that. It hungered. The ground rose up to meet the Titan as gravity distorted around it. Now fully within the small pocket within hyperspace, the twisting chaos of the dimension between reality shined through the breach through which it had emerged. The light, life and energy of this place was quickly fading from it as the aberration consumed it, drinking greedily from its ambient mana. Not content with what it alone could feed on, [numerous smaller beasts](http://www.wizards.com/mtg/images/daily/stf/stf88_spawnEmrakulConcept.jpg) in its likeness emerged from its porous body, and began to scramble about the ground, or what was left of it. Like pus in a festering wound they scoured surface of the tradehouse, latching onto it and converting solid matter into energy for their own consumption, thus eating away at the very world around them. People, terrain, furniture, vehicles, all were the same to the Aeon Brood, as all were food to them. Like a tide of repugnant death they rolled over whatever inhabitants were unfortunate enough to be in their way. Those that fought back had little success; the Spawn were killed easily enough, but there were always more. The Titan hovered above the cataclysm, the tiny little lives it was ending far, far beneath its notice, and their efforts at repelling it even further still. Projectiles were erased by its passive aura of annihilation. Spells too small for it to even notice, harmlessly rained on the surface of its form. Too little, too late, all things considered. To be consumed by a race with no thought but hunger, no knowledge but destruction: that was the fate of this world. That was the fate of all worlds. --- **Deep Space, the "Dark Zone"** Floating endlessly through an infinite abyss, was another affront to all that could be considered true and acceptable within the bounds of known science. Better known as the Hellstar. Drifting lazily through space, its presence on both the real and unreal was unlike anything else existent in the galaxy. It tore through both at once in its path, leaving a trail of distorted time and space in its wake. Of zero notice was the winding path of magic and technology that wove artistically through hyperspace. The Hellstar passed through it all the same, its progress toward the galactic core completely unperturbed. The arcane path was literally ripped asunder by the intersection of the unnatural force, and for that brief moment, the horrific, distorted energies of the Hellstar, the pilfered mana of a thousand raped and ruined worlds, could be felt in all parts of the path. Not that such things were to the realization of the Hellstar. Forgive it, for it knows not what it does.

> Going to have to decline this, for the unrestricted no-selling of attacks. ^^; > > You said yourself it'd be a gamble, after all. If you look closely, he can only no-sell attacks made specifically against him. Accidental harm, or just attacks against groups, he can do nothing about. It's kind of a matter of intention, as even two identical attacks could either harm him or not, depending on what the attacker intended. Kind of a trick that only works once. Once someone realizes that they can't harm him directly, they start attacking indirectly, and then his power falls through.
This one is a gamble, but, hell, let's go for it. --- **Name:** Giorno Giovanna **Age:** 15 **Gender:** Male **Appearance:** ["Never ending is an ending. That is Gold Experience Requiem."](http://static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/11121/111210761/4309249-giorno.giovanna.full.1582306.jpg) **Canon, AU, or OC?:** AU **Universe of Origin:** Jojo's Bizarre Adventure **Personality:** A young man of intense confidence and conviction, Giorno Giovanna has a dream that he pursues with the absolute most of his willpower and strength. With a strong personal code, Giorno takes affronts to his personal sense of justice very seriously, and has devoted himself to helping others by any means he deems necessary. Even so, Giorno is a ruthless, calculating individual, who can unflinchingly perform even the most sickening of tasks if need be. With a cool, composed demeanor, even those that incur his wrath rarely come to know of it until it is too late. **Abilities/Weapons:** Giorno's extraordinarily powerful Stand, [Gold Experience Requiem](http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20131124025322/jjba/images/2/2b/GERFirst.png), has lost some of its power due to residual effects of multiversal travel, but is still quite formidable. The Stand exists outside of time and space, and cannot be categorized using criteria that corresponds to normal stands. Gold Experience Requiem represents an ultimate form of defence for Giorno, and is given that, it is exactly as strong, fast, and precise as it needs to be to defend him at that given moment, is immune to the distortion of time and dimensions, and can act autonomously. Its most powerful ability is that to revert an attack to a state of "zero," reverting the attack as though it never happened. Though this only extends to direct attacks made against Giorno specifically, and no one else. Gold Experience retains most of its "life-giving" powers, able to temporarily transform inorganic matter to organic matter or living creatures. He can instinctively sense the location of any "life" created this way, and animals he creates will autonomously seek out any person that they were "created from." Infusing people with life induces a sensory distortion in that person, as their mind moves far faster than their body can keep up with, resulting in intensely dulled reflexes, and a exaggerated sense of time. Giorno additionally wields the [Stand Arrow](http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/villains/images/d/db/Arrow1.png) that he obtained from Polnareff. This Arrow seeks out people with great willpower and fighting spirit, and can induce a Stand in those individuals. A person of insufficient strength of spirit will either be rejected entirely by the Arrow, or given a Stand that only serves as a parasite, slowly killing the person. A Stand User struck by the arrow gains additional powers, and a Stand struck by the arrow evolves into a "Requiem" form. **Backstory:** Born as Shiobana Haruno to an English father and Japanese mother, after his father's mysterious disappearance, his mother moved to Naples, and married an Italian man. His stepfather adopted him, and his name was changed to Giorno Giovanna to better fit in. Giorno's stepfather was a cruel man, who often beat him when his mother way away. Because of this, Giorno had a thoroughly unhappy childhood. However, one day, he found a bleeding man lying in the bushes on his way to school. The man beseeched him for help, and when other, armed men appeared demanding to know where he was, Giorno feigned ignorance, and hid the man with the awakening powers of his Stand. Once they left, the bleeding man asked Giorno his name, and the following week, Giorno's stepfather was beaten by the mafia, and threatened to never harm Giorno again. This experience left a lasting impact on Giorno, and inspired him to use the power of organized crime to help people, rather than exploit them. With this revelation, his hair turned the same golden tone as his father's, and his stand, Gold Experience, fully emerged. As a teenager, Giorno became a member of the Passione Mafia through a series of circumstances surrounding him accidentally killing a low-ranking member, "Leaky-Eyed" Luca. He joined up with a group of Stand Users in the mafia, under the leadership of a man named Bruno Buccellati. After Bruno ascended to the rank of Capo (the vacancy opening due to Giorno extracting cold vengeance on the previous Capo), the gang was entrusted with escorting the daughter of Passione's mysterious boss to him. Through many trials and battles against traitorous Stand Users, they brought the boss's daughter to him, only to realize that he meant to kill her. The gang rebelled against the boss, meeting up with Jean-Pierre Polnareff, a mysterious man who had previously battled against their enemy. In a climactic battle in the streets of Rome, Giorno's stand evolved into an all-powerful form, Gold Experience Requiem, and with it he was able to defeat the powerful Stand of Passione's boss. With the boss dead and Bruno killed in the battle, Giorno became the new boss of Passione, and has since worked toward making Italy a better country with his power. **Faction:** Shadow Eternity
> Gah, hordes are not what the Draconians are as used to. [...Is that so?](http://cdn2.thelineofbestfit.com/media/2010/09/aphextwin.jpg)
Is it bad that I strongly associate Dio with [this song](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gj5L9SYhoSE)? ... Probably not. That said, who's got character motifs? I thrive off of them, please share.
**Daijuji Kuzaku - Yggdrasil Restaurant District** Kuzaku sat at the bar, head heavily resting in his hands as he lazily sipped on a milkshake. He felt sick, honestly, and really wanted at that point to finish his frozen dessert and just retire to his quarters. However, he knew that he had obligations to fulfill after downing the rest of his shake. He had to track down someone in Yggdrasil that could help him divine the meaning behind his visions, and quickly. Ignoring them would undoubtedly be a mistake, and putting off investigating them was equally so. Even so, he had not been on Yggdrasil for long, and was unsure of who would be able to help him. Even among those he knew, several were conducting a mission on board the _Tanngrisnir_, or were otherwise indisposed. Kuzaku sulked, blowing bubbles into his milkshake. However, the sound of commotion behind him caught his attention. Suspicious persons? Whipping around quickly enough to nearly knock over his shake with his braid, Kuzaku dashed out of the ice cream bar and back into the lobby of the restaurant district, spotting the figures that Saber had pointed out. Both she and Nono quickly shifted into more battle-appropriate forms and engaged the apparent enemies. Kuzaku couldn't help but be impressed by the sight of them, particularly Nono, who was a dead ringer for Metatron. He silently wished that he too could have a cool transformation (perhaps, not unlike his father), but he had more important things to worry about. He attempted to summon Cthugha and Ithaqua, but his spell sputtered out and produced no result. Perhaps he was still disoriented? He hoped that was the issue. Kuzaku moved himself into better cover as he focused more intensely to cast the spell to summon his twin spell cannons. This time it succeeded, bringing great relief to the young knight. With the familiar weight of his guns in his hands, Kuzaku trained Ithaqua on the enemy that Nono was barking orders to, while sweeping the area with Cthugha. --- **Kiss-Shot** Just as suddenly as they had begun attacking, the strange creatures ceased. This interested Kiss-Shot slightly, but not terribly much more than they had initially. Staring at one of them, she condensed her ghastly energy into a form within the creature, and then manipulated it to rapidly expand. The end result of this being that the creature exploded quite violently, seemingly for no reason at all. Giving a small, bemused laugh, Kiss-Shot's fangs protruded out over her full, red lips. "Now, has sating our innate lust for violence brought us any closer to the truth of our situation? I thought not. Perhaps something more productive would be in our best interests, hm?" She spoke aloud in a golden voice, rich with condescension.
I have yet to post, but don't mind me, I've been quite busy lately. Just assume my characters are going with the flow if you need to get a post up. I'll try to write something tonight.

>How would you feel about hand-crafted totems, say objects that imbue magical power? I'm planning a sort of shamanistic character who makes/uses totems from animal skins. Carrying over my question from the IntCheck. My concept, in more detail, is a "Skinchanger," a shaman that can take the shape of animals that he makes totems out of the remains of. A play on the concept of a viking berserker, if you will.
