-Greece
-Sweden
-Serbia

Greece could be a fun choice. It'd be a fairly slow start at first but nationalist movements are bound to take place in the Balkans. You could very possibly regain lost Greek land. Just have to bide your time and use diplomacy.

If I play as Greece while my main goal will to be reclaim former greek lands, I will also have the highly unrealistic goal of reforming the Byzantine Empire.

Yeah, while I dont mind playing as nations that might be curbstompped by biggers ones, I rather not play as one that will always get curbstomped

Yeah at this point in time its still independent
Although Sov3t might take the chance and go ahead and conquer it, only to deny the US from colonizing a lot of the Pacific Islands.

If you intend on going Korea it might be hard to really flourish. You'd be stuck between China and Japan trying to extend influence over you.I'm giving it a read now. At work though waiting for the bar to pick up so it might take a bit rofl.

Edit:Exact reason I dont wanna play as Korea anymore, both Japan and China want to conquer me.

Korea be the only interesting Asian country I want to play as, it in position to industrialize really easily(Northen Korea has a lot of iron and coal).

I was actually considering playing as Sweden or Denmark for Scandinavia
Playing as the Dutch might be interested as well, lot of Empire building to be done Asia
Or France, they could do some empire building in Asia as well.
