Although the main reason Britian didnt want it to go to Greece was because they didnt like Otto, wasnt returned till 1862 when a Pro-British King was installed.

Actually they were more of a independent state reliant on Great Britian but when Greece gained Independence 1830 they wanted to unify with Greece.

Don't freak, if you arent aware theres a small series of islands called the Ionian Islands. They are Greek, but in 1861 they were controlled by the UK. It will basically be the King asking you to peacefully return the territory.
