Do we really have to choose the masks our parents gave us? I don't think so, which is why I choose my own.

Duck, are you really telling me no one in that knowledge pool even knew the location of their homeworld, or capital world? That not a single person was at all interested in the location of their homeworld? And the navigation charts are extremely complex? That has no bearing on knowing the position of your homeworld in the stars, did nobody think "If I make a simplified version of this map, I can make a killing from the commoner"?Not a single school, parent or relative ever saw fit to teach a child about the position of their planets? Not even out of national pride?Lets just focus on the civilians here and ignore possible military infections, no civilian on the station even took an interest in the location of his home...

And no, nobody has bothered to make new simpler maps, and nobody has bothered to learn the location. Most of there people are colonial-born, while they do have pride in Alas Prime, its not the same kind of Pride you seem from patriots or nationalists. And the military infections probably wouldn't know either, thats a job left up to the navigators.

Was it really necessary to drag the argument into the OOC when he had it locked down in a PM?

The guards rushed out of the armory, easily dealing with the L'Er forces as the armory was the only place in the whole station with weapons of any significant power. However the BCU had already deemed the station condemned due to the infection. Using there remote override codes they shutdown the shields of the station, and 4 Balefire Megaspells were fired, completely wiping the station from existence. And while the L'Er now had the names of the planets, they did not have the locations of it. The Navigation systems and charts the Eternals used were a complex thing, thus most citizens did not bother learning it. The only navigators who knew the systems were in the command center, which had yet to be infected. The citizens did not have the coordinates for the planets either, as they would require knowledge of the navigation charts themselves. The loss of the station was not that big of a blow to the Eternal Union, as it was easily replaceable. This venture for the L'Er however, was pointless, as they could not invade the planets of the Eternal Union, not having the coordinates or knowledge of the navigation systems.

Alas Prime
"The honor is ours. I am Prince David, and shall act as the spokesperson for the Council of Immortals. I assume you have a good reason not to have come to Alas Prime yourselves?"

Quite a few Iscandarians left the room screaming, or emptying there stomachs of there breakfast onto the polished ship floor after watching those videos. The Magnus managed to regain his cool after watching them and sent another message.

"The mistakes of your forefathers are not yours, but please avoid this in the future. The meeting on Earth's moon is acceptable."

If there was already a Republic and I made a Republic, would you tell me to do otherwise still?

No
There could be differences between the two republics, but having more then one hive mind is bleh.

I'm not good with actual characters. Maybe one interacting with others, in a regular roleplay, or maybe two, but making stories between different people interacting with each other, all under my control, are what I am unable to make believably characters with, or at least that's what I think.

Then get BETTER at it. Google one of the probably 1000s of guides scattered across the internet. All I ever seen you do is start war or create it. It becomes stale and boring after a while.

Btw Cale accepted. Although I prefer you do something else as we already have a hivemind type thing

If this is still open, I'd like to make a mercantile republic with Herman Cahn's conception of a credible first-strike capability with the Sci-Fi equivalent of nuclear weapons, but only enough of these devices to utterly destroy one large civilization, a small but elite navy for a limited war. If all the devices were used, the nation would lose in a war against any reasonable spacefaring state.

I think enough to destroy a large civilization may be a bit overpowered
Maybe enough to significantly wreck one but not enough to destroy
And were still open

Oh, wait, there's a species in here that possesses magic? Never mind on that universal translator. You can have it.

Who do you think is the one with it?
And darn, I recognize the character from your avatar, but can't remember the name of the movie
Was a damn good movie though.

Actually a universal translator is pretty BS. We're not meant to intantly know languages, and a Universal Translator is okay, if you have found out the discovery of the language, studied it, and translated it, able to put it into a device. My alien race will mostly be hostile, not hostile to new species at first (giving them a chance or seeing what they are capable of), but they will become offensive out of being defensive. I'm giving opportunity for peace or co-existence instead of fighting, but if people want that, they know what to do

It does work in part hy manupliating the mind so if your species is resistant.

Unsure if the Imperial State is accepted.

I didnt think the app was finished, if you would kindly repost it so I could review?

Also, never said it was fun if you couldn't communicate. I find it more BS that posts are wasted purely for translating languages. In the end its pointless and needless clog for the thread.

Barely able to communicate alien species, can I make a Nation like that?

I have a universal translator.
