Name of Nation:North American Federation

Territories: USA, Canada, and Mexico

Government Type: Federal Democractic Dictatorship. A majority of the government is elected and holds most powerful, there is however a dictator who holds a lot of power and appoints is successor. Power is also divided between the states and the Federal Government, the Federal Government does still posses a majority of the power though.

Military:The amount of funding each branch receives is pretty even. However a majority of research funding goes to Air Force and Navy, so while not extremely outdated there ground is a bit behind in terms of tech. The Navy and Air Force are top of the line. Most naval ships employ Rail-Guns and Lasers now a days. They prefer to fight in a shock and awe, using this to scare there enemies into submission. Ground Forces are trained decently, with there being spec-ops force ready to deploy if needed. Air Force is also well trained, more so then the other two branches. While the Navy also has well trained men there tend to be a lot of grunts for the labor.

Economy:Capitalism still exists within the NAF, but all manufacturing and natural resources were socialized. Private Corporation use consist of smaller businesses and industries like video games and programming. The NAF tends to manufacture bigger things, preferring to turn to other countries for consumer goods. It freely trades with any nations willing, as long as they are not there foes. They tend to make a lot of money off selling natural resources and army surplus.

Foreign Policy:Prefers to be neutral, but does form alliances and tends to intervene in conflicts it has interest in.

History:Tensions were high between the USA and many countries prior to the start of WW3, and when things finally erupted the USA deployed forces across the globe. They also contunied to build relations with Canada and the UK, and even ended up with the permission of the Alaskan people selling Alaska to Canada to help gain funds for the many conflicts going on. They however had gotten themselves to involved, and had to pull out of many conflicts and stop support to many of there allies. That included the UK, who they had been support with weapons and funding.

Mid-Way through the war while not suffering a total collapse the suffered a partial one, and due to the amount of nations now in WW3 the UN effectively fell to pieces, The people, unsatisfied with there government, let a man known as David Wilson take control. While not taking full power, he changed around the government a bit, with there now being a dicatorship like thing. There was still a lot of democracy, with the legislative holding the same powers as before. David began focusing on defending the USA itself, and instituted rebuilding policies.

The need of nations to unite was growing strong. Canada feared invasion by a lot of the aggressive nations that were coming about. David negotiated with Canada and they formed the NAF, or North American Federation. Rebuilding was quick, so instead of the NAF coming out weakened, they would come out stronger then before. They sat there eyes on trying to find other nations who feared invasion and would join the evergrowing NAF.

Mexico was also tossed in to the union. It had been considering for a while now, as there was a growing ethnic base of Mexicans in the USA and several states had strong cultural ties to it.

Out of the war the NAF grew strong, and it policies saved it. It instituted many laws that saw great strides to people being truly equal. it also expanded its welfare programs, making sure no one starved. It developed many new technologies during the war, and kept the manufacturing and natural resources under government control, despite the war being over.

The human race is often violent, lashing out at each other for multiple things, whether it be greed or anger we fight each other, and we have done it on a massive scale. In the year 2025 WW3 broke out, countries lashed out as borders were redrawn and millions died of bombs and other deadly weapons. Devastation on levels unheard of was caused, whole countries seeing there infrastructure collapse. Anarchy spread across those countries unable to keep on to there holdings. WW3 ended 2039, and the year is now 2040. Out of the ashes of the old countries, rises many new ones, seeking to spread there power and influence across the Globe
Welcome to The New Order, a Post-WW3 NRP

This is set in 2040, a year after the end of WW3. However what happened during that war is up to the players and what happened prior to it is up to the players. While this may cause issues I will carefully watch and make sure these don't arise, and it makes the RP a lot more fun when the players create the history.

This is a attempted revival of another RP that died due to reasons. Lets make it bigger and better.

Rules
1.Typical RP rules. No God-modding, No Power-playing, No Meta-gaming etc...
2.Realism. Yes this is futuristic, but you still have to comply with the laws of physics
3.I have the final say on everything. Also if there is a feud over something in the RP I will monitor, otherwise keep it out my thread mkay?
4.No one-liners, 3-5 sentences minimum per a post. Exception is diplomatic posts since those tend to be a lot shorter.
5. If I see you just constantly declaring war on everyone I am going to ban. Yes there is nations that declare a lot of war, but they do other things then just conquer everything

2.This is the future, there is more advanced technology, so if you want to experiment with some more advanced stuff go ahead.
3.No nations that are space-based.Period
4.No armies capable of conquering the world in 5 minutes. You can have a strong one though
5.2014 and up can be modified and decided by you. 2013 and prior cannot be touched however.
6. No claiming more then one nation if your neutral during WW3.

Not exactly true, at first when I thought that Darkwolf was directly controlling magic, I was angry. Then he explained and he had total legit method. You do not, your just blocking it without reason, or without any legitimate way to. Rogue also had bullshitty way that weren't legitimate at all, that and I hate him because he acted like a asshole to anyone who criticized what he did without trying to explain himself, that and he has a Superiority Complex. Faust created magic and then put in the Equestrian spirits/souls. There magic is bound to there soul, which is bound to there body. Yes Equestrian magic was created by Faust, but it does not require a connection with her to use it.

"Supremes" Diplomacy
"We were speaking respect, in our own way. It is most likely that you are not use to our tones yet, we speak a lot differently then most races." said the lead diplomat in a kind tone. "We are desperate for assistance, as I said before the Triarians have unwarranted aggression towards us. While we understand if you won't be willing to provide direct assistance, which we would prefer, support through technology would also be appreciated. We are unaware of what you would want at this time, so you will have to state what you would like in exchange for you assisting us."

Lakfakalle
A few Equiis Pact ships arrived in orbit. They landed and out came a diplomat from every nation of the pact, each backed by two guards, which were a mix of regular soldiers and synths. A small force of 4 also escorted the diplomats, which was made mainly of Sazkarjhit. The Equestrian diplomat was the first to step foward, but did not speak. He was a unicorn and appeared to be leading the small force of diplomats.

The Equestrian shuttles landed, and out came various members of Pact Races. The mood of the Equestrians however had seemed to have change significantly, they seemed solom and grave. As soon as the Supreme diplomats approached them they began to speak.
"Our people are on the verge of war. A nation known as the Triarian Collective has decided to declare war on us, or is preparing to anyways, merely because half the remaining amount of there former masters left them. They are known as the Aetherii, and the left to guide us towards something, but it has enraged the Triarians as they see the Aetherii as belonging to them. We require all of the assistance we can get, and yours would be much appreciated. We will understand if you will not join or support us, but if you would we be ever grateful."

Tower of the High Archmage, Equiis
Duck de Steelhorn looked around at his study, and had decided to focus on the Makudan threat. The boys at the Citadel were working on anti-Triarian stuff, he had been ordered to look into methods for fighting the Makudan, with there plans to support the Triarians. He was going over basic stuff to see if there way anything there when he remembered a important rule of magic, which is that every spell had a opposite version of it self. He then realized this applied to megaspells as well, such as the magic giving one. He realized that he could make a megaspell capable of stripping away magic from species, and rushed to work on this. He contacted all the Archmages he could, and told them to begin working. The Makudan would follow unwarranted agresssion and abuse there gift, then they shall have that gift removed.
