No, actually, because corporations can't use force. I could take a dump on Mark Zuckerberg's desk and all he could do would be the same that any other joe schmuck could do. A small goverment would maintain the monopoly on force and would be less valuable to the rich and powerful, so they wouldn't buy Congressmen so often. This is the product of letting goverment control a larger share of our lives. An equivalent to this in the 1940s would have been cause for impeachment.

What the hell are you talking about, Corporations can use force just fine. You ever hear about Black Water, or Titan Corp, or the bank that had it's own army that would kill people off. Those guys are Brutal man, they make any government sanctioned agent look like a saint. Shit on their CEO's desks i dare you.
Havarr was about to say something to Arria about him leading, but at that point they made it the strange mans hide out. Inside were things covered in dust and food that was made to last. He studied some of things even though he had no idea what they were as he had not studied the town as extensively as his other brothers simply because he did not need to worry about protecting the town only Arria. But all of the items were a dead give away that this man was a thief.

As much as Havarr wanted to confront him and run him through he doubted that there would be space to swing his sword here and he was more worried about Arria. "I guess i will go after M'lady, I am Havarr, if you haven't figured it out yet I am her templar, her sword and shield." He said so the group could hear him, he took off his cloak and straightened it out so Arria could sit on it "Go ahead and sit down M'lady." He said gesturing to his cloak with his free hand.

As much as Havarr hated the thief he had to admit it was a pretty good hide out, it was out of the way and hidden but he was afraid the longer they waited here the less likely they were to find clues about who and what started this. But he didn't voice this concern instead he stood silently next his sister studying the hide out and where they entered from. He doubted it would be safe for long anyways if those things could go through the ground then they might as well start killing themselves off. "Say do you have a sharpening stone here?" He asked the thief.
I'm gonna post now that Sep has posted. Actually I'm gonna wait for Jake, Echo and maybe Jelly.

Note to self: Spell someones name right to avoid looking like a prick....Yup sorry about that hehe. :D

It's chill, wasn't pointing it out to make you look like a prick though. Was pointing it out because It doesn't need to be that complicated. If you want to though all my friends call me Ena.
Baton Rouge, Jacob- Tyler,Katie, George, Scarlett, Liam

Jacob and Tyler went downstairs, Jacob looked at Tyler and began to study his face. Trying to get a read on him, Tyler brought up his cell phone and the group and Jacob wanted to speak about Tyler so that would be three things to bring up in a conversation. "I will answer both of those if you answer something that's been bothering me about you." He said and continued speaking "For cell phones, satellite phones will be the most useful as the orbital decay of satellite's is 6-8 years. Depending on atmospheric drag. If i had electricity to charge it more I'm sure i could get GPS coverage on it." He said he seemed to have trouble letting his next thought become clearer.

"I don't think we are safe here, there's something their not telling us and I don't care how close they are with these raiders if you have a green house one of them is going to rob it. So what if these people are working with them or at least one or more of them are, normally I like to believe people are nice and trusting but not like this and As long as those guys are out there I don't think I'm going to trust the people here." He said quietly his voice losing confidence he almost didn't want to ask Tyler what was on his mind, which was rare for him. But he did it anyways. "The other question I have is, you just kinda told us part of your story. I want to know everything that happened, just so I can trust you." He said meekly, but he awaited a response.

Sure that's fine. Tell you what to make it easier, everyone I post I'll wait five days to give everyone time. How does that sound ?

Five days seems to long, unless all of us are traveling.

I just want to raise a slight issue with your post Enealis, you've managed for Darth Reaver to reach Scilla in what appears to be a few minutes, this is impossible even with the technological advances currently going in this universe. So I'm not sure if this I going to be regarded as a problem, but I just thought i'd point it out.

You also made my name there a little over complicated it's Enalais, Leos.
Would it be cool if i joined Ravendore, Moxy?
[b] Jacob- Baton Rouge, Tyler, Katie, Liam, George, Scarlett
Jacob kept behind Scarlett, trying to keep pace with her through the mushy swamp land and obviously he wasn't doing to well as he would sink in "Man I liked these pants." He muttered quietly but kept running. They made it to their destination just in time for a patrol to pass by, after that Adam brought them upstairs to meet the other survivors. They seemed nice but Jacob couldn't help but feel this was too good to be true, he would also mention that to Tyler and try to get the older mans answer. Because one just does not build a green house without those raiders noticing and even if your on fragile terms with them doesn't mean they won't come and take it.

After Adam and the apparent leader left, and the cat was being taken care of Jacob approached Tyler "I need to talk to you." He said quietly enough only Tyler can hear them he didn't want to make a scene in front of these people or make it seem like he wasn't grateful because he is. But still he couldn't shake the uneasy feeling that something bad was going to happen, but his main reason was getting the whole story from Tyler not just bits and pieces.
Name:Larharl Shadewood
Age:22
House: Ravendore
Position:Soldier/Ranger, Body Guard
Race: Elf
Weapons/Gear: Bow and arrows, short sword, dagger, Backpack that has gear for prolonged warfare. Includes shovel, rope, flint, personal items, his mothers amulet. Larhal's armor is just dull brown leather with a dark green cloak and hood.
Skills/Magic:Tracking, hunting, stealth and concealment, incredibly good marksmen both on horse back and on foot, Irregular warfare.
Appearance: Larharl
Background:Born to a poor family on the outskirts of the city, Larharl's family had to hunt to survive. And like any good hunting family they passed on their techniques to their sons and daughters. Larharl's father taught him all of the methods of a good hunter including patience, how to survive in the wilderness, which plants are edible and can be used in medicine, how to make your own bow and arrows, and many other things.

While his father taught him how to hunt. His mother taught him academic things like how to read and write, something she had picked up a long time ago. When he was old enough, and armed with the skills his mother and father taught him he left to join the army. There he picked up the basics of swordsmanship. (But he never was any good at it.) But one thing he was noticed for was his archery, he was considered one of the best archers in the army, and for his skill was made into a irregular who at a moments notice would move behind enemy lines and disrupt supply lines, and kill high ranking officers. As of now he is just waiting again for the powers to call him away.
Opinion on War:It keeps him busy, but he hates seeing people die.
