Here's an example. When I last did this RP. One of the characters had Specops training, paramilitary and mercenary background.Another example in the game this takes alot of inspiration from, one of the characters was former IRA and a former prisoner.I can honestly tell you, my character is going to be a former JTF2 operative who had been working paramilitary security in Rawanda up until now.Does that answer your question?

Absolutely, so a former ISA operative who worked shadow coverage in Africa and Mehico isn't going to look out of place.
Question, are you going to limit our military/police experience? Or are you gonna allow any group or task force as long as they don't seem massively overpowered.
Seems fun.
I'm interested. And i think the Civ map might be a good idea. Also if it helps I have been in two other Rp's similar to this and they always seem to die due to people changing their mind on their races too much, not posting, or it becomes a pissing contest of My magic can wipe out your entire army in sixteen seconds or I'm an anime race and anime races tend to be OP anyways with the exception of a few. Or some douchebag brings in a galaxy destroying weapon that is totally overpowered I mean i'm fine with super weapons but when it's more contained, not it can blow up an entire planet.

It feels wrong to ask someone to change their character just because of something I want. I might try to come up with a slightly different personality, but its still going to be rather aloof and out of touch.I'm thinking a Mandalorian bounty hunter (#basic.), mainly because I have yet to play a mandalorian in a Star Wars RP. Mandalorians look cool as fuck, but I'll do my best not to put up a Fett wannabe

Dude it's cool i just kinda threw my dart at my board of characters and it came up aloof lone wolf marksmen. But it could of easily have been loud mouth demolitions expert, or war wearied rifleman. I do play a good war weary character made Sep cry.

Wow, this thing caught traction really fast,I'm going to be making a bounty hunter/merc/soldier type likely under the employ of the Task forceEDIT: Derp... I was going to go for a cold and efficient bounty hunter/sniper with a bit of a lone wolf things, but it seems I've been beaten to the punch

I can change him if you want. I just threw him up there because everyone seems to want to play a chief and not an Indian.
Jacob - The Plaza. Tyler

As they met up the sounds of gunfire drove the four into an electronics store which made Jacob smile he was lost in paradise but Tyler's question quickly brought him out of his dream land. "I don't know." He whispered back "But what i do know is that I'm low on ammo." He continued frowning at the pistol in his grip. It was at this point that Jacob thought of a plan that might work for the group.

"I have a plan." He said loud enough for only the group to hear and when everyone turned their attention to him he continued "We should confront this guy, if he's alone we out number him and we can get answers. If it's the raider group that frequents this area we can scare them off and escape by acting like a much bigger group or a group of walkers. Of course we would have to rule out these two." He said gesturing to the other two guys "On confronting the guy just in case it is the raiders we wouldn't want them going after home base. But I will confront him as long as Tyler takes my bag just in case. So this way home base won't suffer reprisals, because they don't know who I'm with." He said looking back towards the exit of the store.
Name: Sergeant Austacar Condar Trooper-02456 Callsign "Hunter 2-4"
Gender:Male
Species:Human
Age: 27
Homeworld: Dantooine, though his family is more of a spacer family
Faction:Republic
Role:Marksmen

Physical Appearance: Austcar

Personality: Cold and calculating, Austacar cares very little for the lives of the enemy he hunts them like he hunts any other animal, he is particularly fond of wounding enemies and seeing who comes out to take the bait to save their friends lives, under fire or on base he is still the same stone faced and stone hearted, he does not say very much.

Skills: -Skilled Marksmen
- Adept Close quarters combat specialist
- pretty good at hand to hand combat
-can drive a swoop bike like a pro

Equipment: TF-E armor, helmet can be linked up to the tacpad on his wrist to act sort of like a spotter for him also has advanced optics within the helmet, Blaster pistol, Sniper rifle, thermal detonators, Vibroknife

Powers: N/a

Flaws: His lone wolf attitude tends not to make him very many friends, he tends to disobey direct orders to chase after his "Quarry", His knowledge of electronics does not extend past his wrist mounted tacpad.

Personal History: Born on Dantooine too, a big game hunter and his wife they lived the nomad life style his mother would tell him he was lucky he was not born on a ship. But his life was enjoyable to say the least he got to see much of the galaxy, got to help his father track down big game and learn the skills his grandfather taught his father.

As Austacar grew older his father would trust him with more things by age 14 he was holding the rifle himself and taking down many a beast, but Austacar also felt like something was missing from his life something he couldn't quite put his finger on. But he found it in old holovids of republic battles from days past and found himself filled with a sense of patriotism so he left his nomadic ways at age 18 and joined up with the republic military.

His skills as a marksmen were quickly noted and he was transferred into a paratrooper regiment that terminate any sith splinter factions that dared rear their ugly head. He earned his stripes in these battles because the brass saw potential, but his commanding officers only saw that his lone wolf attitude got in the way and the brass was rewarding him for it. They made his life a living hell for it but he didn't give them any reaction he did what he was told and still managed to save lives.

Through his years of service he had distinguished himself in many battles, eventually brass saw a better use for him in TF-E and transferred him into the unit where he uses his skill set to hunt the enemies of the republic at his discretion.
