Callan was in tears, as she held the sides of the toilet and vomited roughly. "I-I-I can't. It hurts to throw up." She struggled to say feeling her mother rub her back trying to soothe her as much as possible. "How long does this last?" She asked curiously as she reached up and flushed, before wiling at her eyes with the back of her hand. "I can't do this. It's too hard already."

"Oh hush, you got your payback." Zale said following Silver back up to the beach and sat in the wet sand. "Beautiful moon." He said softly taking Silver's hand in his own and giving it a little squeeze. "I'm going to walk you to the train tonight, I know I'll see you in a few days but I still want to see you off."
Callan drank a little bit more of the lemon water her mother gave her but when Silver's mentor took a bite out a crab leg, Callan covered her mouth and disregarding her mother's question ran to the bathroom and proceeded to spill the contents of her stomach into the porcelain bowl.

"So mark off anything fish related from the safe foods to eat list," Cadence said with a little chuckle and wrote down the word seafood on another sheet of paper.

Zale had taken to laughing when he threw Silver into the water but his tone changed when she didn't resurface, "Silver?" He said peering down into the water but yelled when his feet were knocked out from under him. For a split second he freaked out but when he felt the wet hair of his girlfriend floating against his skin, he calmed down and found his footing, finally propelling himself to the surface.
Callan smiled when soup had been brought, "She shouldn't have gone through all that trouble just for me." She said softly as she took another drink and moved to take the bowl of soup. "Tell her thank you for me, the next time you see her." Callan stated moving to sit down at a table and eat slowly. After only a few spoonfuls of soup, Callan sat there grimacing.

"Hey, don't laugh. If I can't see it and it touches me it freaks me out." He said picking Silver up in his arms, "Be nice or I'm going drop you into the next swell." The man looked down at her and smirked, "I can have secrets too. People swoon over you too. You should have seen the broadcasts from the Capital. But, I agree I am lucky to have you." Leaning down Zale went to kiss her but then pulled back suddenly before dropping her into the water below. "Ha. You thought." He laughed playfully.
"I like that idea, but I'll have to talk to Carver and see what he says. And I have plenty of time to think about it." She said eyeing Cadence and shaking her head and taking the glass of water. "Thank you," Callan said softly and taking a sip, "huh, it doesn't taste as bad as I thought it would."

Zale held onto Silver tightly and jumped into the wave coming over the wave without a problem. "I got you." He said with a smirk, "I won't ever let anything happen to you." He explained before removing one hand and grabbing something in the water. He lifted up a root of sea weed and tossed it away from them. "That has always freaked me out when it's touched me." Zale's vibrant green eyes examined Silver's blonde hair, "I've always sort of had a crush on you."
"I..." Callan sat up and ran a hand through her hair, "I'm a little hungry but a lot of things set my stomach off now." She looked over at Cadence who was writing something out on a pad of paper, "What are you writing?" Callan asked as she got up and walked over peering down at the scribbled writing. "Really? Really? I just found out and you have names all the way down that page."

Zale ran his hand through Silver's hair and kissed her back, his arm wrapped around her waist. The wakes lapped at their backs and Zale finally broke their kiss as he felt the water pull at their legs. "Wave," he pointed seeing a large wave coming towards them.
Yesss. You can thank my over imagination and dreams.
"I think we're equally as stubborn," Callan said with a little laugh. "Don't worry, I'll be calling you crying and wondering what to do because I'm clueless. You have to remember my adoptive family couldn't have kids of their own so I never had to experience a pregnant woman before."

Zale didn't have time to register what Silver had said until she had taken off down the beach. "Hey!" He shouts as he chases after her stripping off his shirt and tossing it to the dry sand before diving into the water. "Ooo cold, cold." He said with a smile before swimming over to Silver and pulling her close. "Stay in Four with me... You belong here with me. This has been your home forever."
Callan sighed heavily, "I know. But you did what you think was best for all of us. I can't blame you for not keeping us- I can't imagine how hard it would be. I think that's why I don't want my child to go through the same thing." Callan said as she looked up at her mother but she smiled when she heard her father rarely got mad, "Silver must have taken after him there." The blonde turned to look at her sister, "I can't swim." Callan pointed out and shook her head, "No, I don't want to go. Have fun."

Zale frowned to himself, "Well, we're going to be right in front if you want to come outside." He said looking to Silver and squeezing her hand understanding Callan was going to be overly cautious now.

"So, you're going to Seven then, Cal?" Cadence asked looking to Asteria. "Perhaps I should go with her just because I can relay the messages to Silver and you if something happens."

Callan looked at Cadence with a bit of annoyance at his over protective nature but nodded, "I think that might be a good idea."
So I got to thinking...

What if for the Quell at the cornucopia each tribute has the option of taking a canteen of water or a weapon of their choice, without having to fight for it? It could be the Capital's way of trying to make sure there is a blood bath instantly since you know the Career pack (minus Asteria) and the vicious victors would enjoy having a slaughter house right at their fingertips.
Callan took a deep but shaky breath, she looked down at the floor, "You promise you won't be mad if I leave?" She asked timidly before trying to see where her sister was but without moving her head. "I think it would be best if I did go with Carver. I mean I can't let my child only see his father every once in a while- maybe." Callan said before turning to look at her mother, "Are you sure he would be? He wouldn't be mad?"

Zale nodded, "Yes. I'm sorry. It just has been getting to me ever since the districts started." He explained holding Silver close to him. "Well, you're only here for a few more hours before you head to Three. Want to go swimming?"
