I'm thinking of it as western with a dash of fantasy, so I'm trying to balance both out. Keeping it based in reality(like using IRL weapons, like the Colt Walker .44 and Winchester 1895) with supernatural creatures mixed in.

You seem to be more fantasy-focused in this, IMHO. Not a bad thing, Guess we all look at things differently :P

BTW, I think 'western' means revolvers cowboys sheriffs and that stuff in America, not just being from America.

The Vampire isn't a Hunter, and neither one of them are from the Northern Continent, as you know Gavril is from Transylvania, and then you will out the vampire migrated from a different continent as well, so technically neither one is western really. When I look at this roleplay I see it a lot as a western fantasy type of roleplay given the creatures of the night and necromancy being a dark magic etc etc, so thats how Im playing it, I hope that what im doing is okay.

I am very interested, seeing as I have been interested in X-com for a loooong time.

However, the only experience I have of it is through youtube playthroughs, so I haven't really played it at all. Though, I am downloading Xcom Enemy Unknown on steam, currently.

Anyways, middle option sounds best.
