Actually, that approach usually turns out very badly.Generally, the best way in is to just lurk for a while and then start posting in various threads without making a big deal out of it. Drawing attention to your entrance, especially if you haven't given yourself time to learn the mannerisms of Spam, usually doesn't end well.However, you were lucky (and I guess smart) enough to pull off that sort of entrance surprisingly well - which is actually very impressive.
