Argh. The internet was down. I am not setting this on the back burner, I really DO want to play, but weird things keep cropping up.

Good news, he isn't a jerk! False alarm everyone. (2 for 2 this group keeps surprising me. I can't tell you how many times I've seen this scenario play out the other way. I think like 5 times.)

Really bad writers block. I have a recycled character. Tell me if it would fit, otherwise I will think of something.

Recycled character: flunky girl rife with snarkyness. The feel of the character is the bittersweet of an underdog. She hates the way the world works and is duying for something more. She has an impossible dream that she is almost borderline crazy obsessed with, but a conscience that won't leave her alone.

That was why I posted the way I did. You don't have to have an OOC post or even your character speak to use bullying. If that was not his intent, I would advise that he figures out a better way of showing his character's depravity. And that could be part of the reason Jim hasn't posted. I can't speak for him, of course, but I HAVE seen it happen before.

I WANT this game to run. I WANT to play. I just have seen players run amok with characters that are potent like that, and the GM usually lets them do it, not realizing he is driving other players away. I can't say for sure that is what Anubis is doing, but I CAN say that Durun is prime for dominating a game. Anubis needs to be careful or he might be accidentally destroying this game just by letting the character be himself.

Thanks for taking another look a t what bothered me.

Hmm "female meat" that couldn't possibly be sexual innuendo there, now could it? "One way or another" Did the thought ever cross your mind that Jim might not want his player approached for "use as a... woman" or have to fight off murderous intent that he isn't allowed to defeat because his opponent is a PC (and have us thrown into the same adventure by the GM so that it can happen again)? It is the cat tossed into the dog pound scenario.This isn't funny, this is a threat. A hollow one, but a threat nevertheless. It is a bullying technique. I can't just laugh about this. I'm sorry, but I'm not playing a "comedy" like this.

I wish you well, but consider this a drop unless there is a compromise that can be reached.
