Am I reading into this or is this game supposed to be a light hearted, mild comedy? I mean the other characters strike me as fairly serious and this last one done right dark. I have the impression it is supposed to be clever and witty but not an outright slapstick thing.
I just had to push my character out of the "he'll put on some meat when he's old enough to grow a beard."
It is a trade of labour for improved relations. "Hey, why don't we trade some knights to show our good favor?"

Yermajisty says "Great!"

The head of the guild says "I'm not sending them anybody we need. Get that whimp with the big reputation. Send him to the Excalibur Guild. The guild will think they are getting an acomplished knight, the king thinks we aren't jipping them, the numbskull thinks he's getting promoted, and we get some piece and quiet around here. Whine, whine, whine, that's all that guy does."

Advisor "If he bugs you so much, why didn't you just send him on patrol in the undead lands?"

Head of the guild "Already did, his entire company was killed off... but NOT him! Oh, no, he comes back unscathed but never defeating a single foe. I tried to get him killed off in the championship. He wound up putting Sir Knight in Black and Sir Knight with Hammer into the infirmary. They beat him down and just kept beating on him even after the dismissal of the King. He wound up standing up asking 'is that all you got?' and, yes, it was. They had bludgioned him so hard and so long that they fractured most of the bones in their hands. If he comes back YOU are the one responsible for killing him off."

Advisor "Wait, I'm confused, are we sending them our best or are we sending them our worst?"

Head of the Guild *shruggs*
Name: Chance Chazwalider of Redshirt
Age: 34
Gender: Male

Personality:
-While he is clever, he acts to the point without beating around the bush.
-He holds grudges like nobody's business, these grudges most often crop up with those he bears jealousy toward.
-He usually whines incessantly about every little thing. However, those little things are often lynch-pins to important things.
-He thinks other people innately stupid and has a level of disdain about them in general, but it is okay, he treats everybody like that.
-He believes the world sucks and isn't worth saving because it will just be ruined again if it is re-forged to perfection. This has lead people to believe him to have a death wish. Sometimes he does.
-He is also incredibly patient and stubborn, even for a warden.
-Additionally, he has a haughty attitude that makes people back off suspecting him of sporting some hidden trick that can level the playing field.
-Chance comes with a reputation that, just like his armour is too big to fit him. He has the rumor of being a great warrior only because in championships, he has thoroughly exhausted his opponents to the point of passing out from exertion.

Affinity: Warden

Appearance (Self): Chance is just as short as he is gangly, and short, standing five foot nothing and holding no bulk whatsoever. The largest feature is his abnormally large and squat head. He has an air of peasantry about him with untamable hair and lax manerisms, even though he is of noble blood. His standard expression is indicative of crawling out of the rotting bowels of a gigantic deceased worm... either that or he just lost playing tic-tac-tow with a 5 year old and was made a fool doing it.

Appearance (Armor): His armour is intricate ancestral armour, and obviously made for someone far larger than him. It's just too big to fit him. His large hands and feet need the size. It was handed down three generations and would be an offence if he were to reject it. His armour has been finished with a copper sheen to it. He wears the color of grey-blue, and his shield symbol is a copper field with a blue spiral on it.

Arsenal: Chance prefers the sword and shield approach to fighting. He would love to use a bastard sword with a blade as wide as his head... but he isn't that strong. So instead he uses a gladius. Likewise, he would like a shield the size of a billboard with wierd and ornate cuttings, but instead he usues the standard steel plated and round domed shield with a crossbar. He just about never rides a steed because he thinks horses suck and would much prefer a steed that is lethal, horned, and infeasable like a dragon or a unicorn or a Narwhal.
Here are some concepts. Tell me if you guys have any preferences.

(Elemental Knight) Quick, quick thinking, quick reacting, quick to judgement, quick tongue. Has a tendency to get in over his head and get into stupid situations without thinking. Rotten luck. The flunky of the class.

(Holy Knight) gooey sweet, perfect, caring, super nice. This is enough to make an oompa-loompa enter into a diabetic coma.

(Demonic) Happy-go-lucky kinda guy with demonic powers... what's so strange about that?

(Blook Knight) big, fat, ugly old sinner, "My eyes! My eyes!" "Ah, that's right, I can feel your suffering now!"

(Warden) Negative downer, scrawney and thuroughly sucky at the whole knight thing. He is best at getting his butt handed to him, but he can endure so much that he exhausts his opponents.
I'm still in this. I like filling in the gaps so I've been watching. I'll post a character today, I think.
Screen Name: -B-
Character you have created: Barsavis (He does not share his name, so in legend he is frequently known as "Beacon" by adults as well as "The Boogie Man" in mythology.
Alias: Mat Eastridge
Speech Color: TBD when site is fully operational
Character Alignment: Walking the Line
Identity: Secret, very secret

Uniform/costume: A swath of vines, roots and natural growths surround a crystalline armour. Embedded inside, and mounted on his chest is a beetle (hence Bogie "beetle" man.) His spectral form is like his costume, only dark.

Hero Type: Supernatural (Stealth based psionic)
Power Level: Bottom of World Level, top of City Level
Powers :
-Flight (150 mph, 40ft ceiling above surface)
-Spectral Form (Has a partitioned mind that allows two full functions and perceptions, but is limited to a maximum of 400 feet away, this additional perspective appears as a shadow to children.)
-Telekinesis (Can control fine articles as well as fluids. Strong by human standards, but nowhere as fantastic as most supers and machinery.)
-Smell fear (Can smell and distinguish different sorts of fear.)
-Ageless (Barsavis does not age, he is more spirit than a human.)
-Invisible mind (Psionics and mind-readers cannot detect him at all. Even people who can detect emotion are clueless.)
-Brain Fry: (When focused and looking into the eyes of his adversary, Barsavis can slow the synapses through a cocktail of exhaustion, dream, and fear. This makes the victim think slower than normal, and is usually imperceptible. If assaulted without restraint it can put a victim into a coma-like state. He or a psionic can reverse this but requires being physically present.)

Attributes:
-Strength Level: 1 ton.
-Speed/Reaction Timing Level: Normal Human
-Endurance at MAXIMUM Effort: Normal Human (but does not sleep)
-Agility: Normal Human
-Intelligence: Average
-Fighting Skill: Trained
-Resources: Minimal

Weaknesses: Barsavis has little self-confidence, and little faith in Humanity. He can find the negative in almost anyone, and he doesn't particularly like himself. His powers (particularly flight and telekinesis are affected by the amount of his will is available to him. While on a high he can deal with the world savers, on a low he is hard pressed to compete on the city level.)

Supporting Characters: Barsavis has a wife... Autumn. Both her name and the embodiment of the season. His Father-in-law is the embodiment of the winter solstice (Chris), and his mother-in-law is Winter. These characters all function as humans, are humans, and function in human society. The seasons still come and go along if they are not there. However, they CAN control the season by entering the ritual grounds. Currently Barsavis and his counterpart (The Vernal Equinox) guard and use the grounds conveniently located in Main.

Do you know how to post pictures on RPG boards?: Yep

Count me as a super fan! I am willing to face a death match to claim a spot! I'm pretty sure my entire life has been building to this one point. I'm pretty sure I will die happy and promptly once this story wraps up.
I have been waiting for a while for a game like this. I would love to play.
