@tch it's fine now. Accepted.

@Freeshooter82: I read "rock-man" and think Mega Man, but, for sure, go for it.
And here is my character:
Name: Kenneth Maxwell Weiss

Faction: Super

Codename: Fade

Age: 20

Gender: Male

Personality: Kenneth has two personalities, dependent on the time of day or the amount of sunlight he's exposed to. While it's daytime or bright around him, he acts like the persona known as "Fade In", a selfless savior of truth, justice, and freedom, always standing up for the weak or unfortunate as a true hero would. Without the light, Kenneth acts as "Fade Out", a dark, egotistical, and murderous anti-hero, never thinking of anyone else but himself.

This is only active while Kenneth's powers are active, and while they're not being used, he's very anti social and aloof, not wanting to mingle with others due to his mental condition. He's often seen talking to himself, but his powers are able to manifest forms which he and a few mental-based superhumans can see.

Appearance:

History: Kenneth was born under the most controversial superhuman couple of 20th century, villain Sir Harvey Landon Blake, codename Baron Black, and heroine
Janine Alexandra Weiss, codename Snow White. While growing up, he was like any other Super child; Looked at by other children with a mixture of awe and fear, adults tended to avoid him, and other Super children tried to get along, but in the end, were probably split up due to their parents differences.
Once he graduated from high school, he had moved out west to get away from the Breakers on the East Coast— his parents were among the first to become neutralized— and after running for two years, found a safe house located in the decimated city of Los Angeles, he now hides out, wary of the Supers filing into the ravaged city.

Abilities/Equipment: Being a child of two very contrasted Second Supers, he was able to inherit traits of both, however with major setbacks. Not only does his personality change with the amount of light present, but his powers do as well. As "Fade In", Kenneth is able to summon a flock of doves to help defend himself and counter any attacks that come his way. He is also able to manipulate light to his will, creating hard light constructs even reflections of himself. "Fade Out" can also manipulate another flying companion— bats— and can use sounds, amplifying them to almost unbearable frequencies.

The largest setback by far is that the persona that is not active is constantly trying to attack Kenneth (in their spiritual form), preventing him from using his powers most effectively. He usually can force them back into his mind, but they always find a way of breaking right back out.
@DragonBud: I said it didn't have to be long, but nice work. Accepted.
In the hider, you'll find a picture of my character in their active form. I'm almost done with it, just need the background and the Skills section.
@HellOfALife: Thanks for the interest, can't wait to see what you bring to the board.

@tchtkrmkc: I like it, but if you could explain his powers a bit more, i.e. Invisibility produced by altering cellular structure, or manipulating what others see, I'll accept. Other than that, it's fine.
Thanks, DragonBud, hope to a CS from you!
@EsmeTheGreat, guyvolk: Thanks for the interest, glad to see more people are up for this, hope I don't disappoint!

@guyvolk: I lol'd at the picture in your signature. Heh, mime field..
Thanks, glad you like it! I look forward to seeing it and hopefully a couple more at least today, if I'm lucky.
Bump.
What cause do you fight for...?
Are you willing to champion that cause?

In a world of both humans and superhumans, humans look up to their favorite superheroes, finding hope and faith that they could be safe, all because of them.
But that was back then. Humans fear this new generation of superhumans, who are even more powerful than their parents, and rumors are starting to circulate about a weapon which can neutralize powers, forever, and superhumans are dropping dead like flies, one by one. Do you still believe in your cause, or does your survival mean more than your morality?

Choose soon.

Death wanders close.

Welcome to Weight, the first installment in the original roleplay trilogy Tipping Scales, where a group of superhuman hunters known Breakers are eradicating the globe of all powered beings for the greater good, for humanity, and for society, though many superhumans have saved the population of Earth countless times. Not all humans are supportive of the Breaker movement, and are secretly hiding in the shadows, helping supers as much as they can. Some superhumans have abandoned the "heroes versus villains" mindset and have began collaborating in order to survive, while a couple have a hard time letting go of that which once was.

Weight takes place in the megalopolis of New Angels City, a more advanced replica of Los Angeles that floats above the original broken down settlement that once was, in the year 2020. Many supers have taken refuge in the destruction down below, with corrupt law enforcement and Breaker brigades hot on their tails. Is it time to abandon their beliefs and work together to save themselves or only resort to their old was to keep their hero or villain selves alive?

Here's some more detailed info about the factions and previous events before the beginning of Weight and Tipping Scales:

Here is the CS skeleton, which will be reviewed by myself, and a Co-GM if I decide to elect for one, which I probably will, because I'm not a super-GM, and I always appreciate help.

Name:
Faction: Super, Breaker, Human
Codename: For Supers only.
Nickname/Alias: For Breakers and Humans
Age: 8 to 28, please.
Gender: If your character is something other than a male or female, describe what they are.
Personality:
Appearance: Pictures (drawings, illustrations, not real photos) are preferred, but if you type up a good one, it's nice, too.
History: Nothing too long, just their background, summed up and served in a sandwich.
Abilities/Equipment: Powers or what could they provide in a certain situation and a description of their proficiency at/with it.

Looking for about 5 to 7 more players other than myself. Multiple characters are allowed. Follow Guild rules and we'll be cool.

Dharc, out.
