The housekeeper eat them ;) Hmmm... I'm not sure that the reason behind the deaths matters so much as the fact that she was responsible for thier care when they died. Also if she has no confidence in herself as a counselor how can she help the children?

My major gripe reading up that sheet. It doesn't put a very convincing foot forward for one vying for a place here. Not to be rude on the creativity of the one who submitted the CS, but I think it would be pretty daft on Benefactor's part to give her the job if the 'special' children she has been sent to help turn out to be even more wound-up pieces of work than her previous charge.

You know, from the setting of the RP I always believed that many of the orphans arriving here will have really rough life and/or some really grating incidents that changed them. I mean, I see Katherine, Kyo and I don't see how they'd be so trusting to a young upstart who isn't confident in herself.

Take no offense, I am just analyzing the character from the setting's perspective.

I don't know how you guys do it. My characters usually last a week or so due to the nature of the guild and their quickly dying role plays. I've got 2 active characters right now.. and 1 waiting patiently for the role play to start; and that seems like too much xD

Well for me personally, I maintain a rough sketch sheet in my google docs. Most of my characters are of the 3 archtyes I enjoy playing so it is much like dress up. You pick what is needed from the set, throw in a story sticking with the setting and hope for GM's input regarding what is appropriate and then ready to roll. Archtypes that are close to your heart are easy to RP simply because they are easy to slip in. Ypu just have to find what works for you and go mad xD that is the fun of RPing By text

Excluding this new character that I might be making, I'm controlling about 7 or 8 characters across multiple sites at once. Three characters in one RP is easy, it's just multiple across different sites that's difficult, though I've been known to do pretty well at it. I'll make an app later.

Well don't mind me. I just stared what I felt, if you are upto it then by all means continue. Personally I don't do so because then I usually end up skewing the RP with my own random quick posts. But all the luck to you. ~cheers~

LOL I've got like 15 RP 8 overal characters unless you count my authority figures ;)

I didn't get the actual number but good for you. You are the GM here so ofcourse you have to control a few more characters than anyone else.

I have 73 characters active across multiple sites so I may be fussing a bit. Apologies for any offence, it was unintended.
I like the idea but I personally think you'll be pushing yourself playing so many characters in one RP.

That had been one of the children who had arrived earlier, right? But he didn't know which one, so he really couldn't say. Even if he could speak, he couldn't say. Unable to answer, he tapped twice on the boy's wrist in a vague attempt at a 'no' and led the two to the door, eventually bringing them up the stairs to the room where the others appeared to be carrying large armfuls of very colourful items from. Curious, he starte toward some of the remaining items, still leading the other two.

He hadn’t expected a reply but the person still replied. Tapping on his arm to say no, since he didn’t talk Py guessed that the guy was definitely Kyo. He smiled as he was led upstairs to a room where others were. There seem to be a buzz of activity with people seemingly carrying something. He expected the next activity to involve props and his inability with handling anything but himself. A wry grin spread in his face as he waited for things to happen. Hoping Katherin may have better inkling than him.

Kyo jolted at the sound of the voice, having not realized that he was starting to space out. He almost nodded before realizing how useless that probably would still be, and opted for just walking over to the two. Katherin's hands seemed to be full, so he reached for the boy's hand to lead them.

As the presence approached them and grabbed Py's free hand, he asked the good samaritarian "Have you seen Hadley? I wonder when she left. I meant to ask her if she had spideysense" thinking aloud more than making it sound like a question.

"I wonder what we'll be doing? This place certainly has a lot of avenues of exploration." He said out to none in particular.
Py looked around the room to locate someone and he spotted someone not too far away. Seems like they weren't alone and some help may still be available. He decided to call upon it before it slips away.

"Hey! Would you please take us both after the housekeeper if you don’t mind. " Pyktis requested the presence.

Happy birthday! No problem as long as I know I can make sue we don't leave you too far behind.

Don't worry about leaving me too far behind, I'll write myself into the thick of things if it happens. I love reading through a lot of text in catching up. :)

"Kyo is usually kind enough to guide enough to lead me around. I know where the stairs are. And there are 21 steps to the second floor." Katherin answered. She took up her cane. She tilts her head and listened. "I usually wait until the room is empty. That way I don't trip over feet or bump into anyone."

"Oh! I could help you a bit with that, you see I have another ability that isn't as developed as my primary. I can sense people and obstacles. It helped me a lot in the streets. I knew which streets to avoid and where to beg." He said with a happy tone.

"So if you keep us on track I'll take you without barging into someone." He said with a laugh.

"So...shall we" he asked her, curious about the contents of the other activity. He felt her smooth, soft hands in his chafed, hard ones and tried his best to be as delicate in his grip as possible. For someone watching from afar would certainly think of him as incredibly lucky, holding hands with such a beauty as Katherin. But for him she was beautiful for other reasons than appearance.
After playing a small song accompanying Melody's beautiful composition, Pyktis put down the saxophone. Catching up on the housekeeper's call to move she slowly grasped Katherin's hand and asked, "Where to? Since I haven't been given my cane yet I hope you don't mind taking me along. You certainly know this place better than I do."

He got up from his seat and still held on to her hand, waiting for her to reply. Others had seemingly left after the housekeeper, leaving the two sightless alone.
