"I don't have great control. I can make the gym a skating rink. Or I can cause a snowstorm. I suppose hail is possible since it's ice but I've never tried it.

"Wow! it's like you're a force of nature, beautiful." Py gushed at her response. It wasn't everyday that one met with people of such power.

As the housekeeper announced the activity they all were supposed to do, Py said to Katherin "Well looks like I have to sit this one out." he heard a loud smack and a thud shortly after, "and it looks like it isn't going that well for those who can look. Anyways you can try if you want, I'll cheer you on." he said in a cheery tone.

He waited for the housekeeper to be back before making his request, "Madam, sorry but I won't be able to participate in this one. Any suggestions as to what else I can do?"
Alexei

"No, nothing." Alexei replied with a thankful bow as Kotori accepted his request. On this they both turned and began their walk to the shop. Having exhausted most of the topics the day prior, there wasn't much of a small-talk between the two. Kotori was naturally reserved and Alexei was curt. As they walked away from the school, he finally decided to ask a doubt that had been bothering him ever since he had formed the notion of visiting the Shirohane Flower Store.

"Shirohane-san!" came a low grumble as he looked at the junior to face him. As she faced him, he looked at her straight and ask, " There is a query I need your assistance with."

He didn't wait for her to accept as he knew that she was too polite to decline.

"Do you like flowers?" he asked with a pause. Giving her enough time to register his words and form an answer. Afterall, it maybe taken as a weird question coming from a literal stranger whom you have met once. Plus, walking together they hardly looked to be suited to each other.

"What I mean is, would you appreciate a Ikebana bouquet if someone close to you gave it to you. Would you like the said person to present himself in it or what he sees you as?" he asked in an even tone. It didn't hold any allusion to a romantic chat-up. It seemed he was asking it out of genuine curiosity. His stoic face may throw one off, but his voice was something that held a lot of suppressed emotion in it.

"Please do not take it the wrong way, I just want your honest answer as it will help me decide with what I should do." it was a subtle hint to the fact that he wanted to inquire it for his order, but he didn't voice it openly because he felt it was rude to do so.
Orgen had a great time marching up to Langshul. The food on offer was rather good, something his refined palate could appreciate. He still relished the ham and other meats that were standard rations. But the Orcish delicacy of horse meat and even rarer bunny meat was what made the insufferable march bearable. The small skirmishes were not even enough to whet his appetite and by the time they made their final camp he wasn't in a particularly happy state of mind even if the food on offer was great.

The bunny foot soldiers were brilliant but the merchants and the women were even better, he reasoned that it all boiled down to the quality and amount of fat. The merchants had more of it and thus were tasty. He had cooked for the half-ogres and half-giants of the company, the orcs weren't that choosy but still took a bit of the meat. Watching how riled Nargesh was, he knew that every one was a bit on edge for going without a proper bloodbath for so long and thus he had hoped to do his bit to keep everybody sane through food.

He was not as great as Hrok, who was sensational with the pot but he knew how to grill and prepare bunny meat like no other in the establishment.

This was also good moment to test out his new axe, get used to its weight and swing. Throughout the trip with some pointers from Armauk the ace smith and Nargesh the other impressive weaponsmith, he improved upon his original model. The grip was replaced from a hide handle to much more taut buffalo skin. The blade heads were sharpened a bit and he melted a few weapons he gathered from the bunnies and infused it at the base of the bladehead to give it more weight and support. He had also used this opportunity to request Armauk tinker with his helm and make it look a bit intimidating.

So now he had a half helmet that covered his face up to his nose, leaving his large fangs exposed, a hole in the helmet to let his ponytail through and three horns on the head of varying length between 8 to 14 inches of pointy, sharpened metal. With his blood red eyes shining through them, he cut an impressive figure. He had also used this march to exchange some herb recipes with Dakgu who was very knowledgeable of common cures and Gaelel though extremely reserved, had helped at a bit more potency to his poisons. All in all, he had as much fun making camp as he had hunting down scouts and hostiles but still the carnal fun of battle made him a tad bit grumpy.

As Old-man Radush camped for final time and the Chosen all gathered for a strategy meet, Orgen also joined. Hearing what others had been up to. Gaelel spoke first, she was the only one to have somehow managed to capture a bunny alive, they were so puny that they rarely survived one blow so Orgen's respect for her grew a notch. She let out a simple attack plan. Suggesting of an infiltration and assault route or a head on assault.

Shar picked up the mantle after her as he added his experience and take on the battle. Elaborating the use of shrine as a defense camp and his way of nullifying it. He mentioned using a decoy attack to draw attention and then infiltrate like Gaelel had suggested. So his was an elaboration of her plan with his twist.

Nargesh had also joined them by now and quickly added her point. She had been up on a hill with a detachment observing the fortifications. She had supported Shar's idea but had added the use of artillery in hers. It was impressive to hear them all out but Orgen was left a bit unsatisfied. He thought of Shar and Gaelel to be expert tacticians because one was a bit too zealous in everything he did and other was so reserved that he felt there were too many secrets which she can count on to see her through. He had half expect Nargesh to be so brutally simple and appreciated that if followed it will allow him a good taste of battle.

As he mulled over the suggestions and waited for Armauk to speak something before voicing his opinion, he considered the options. For as much as he knew Old man Radush, he liked to keep things simple but always plan three steps ahead. That was all what Nar Mat Kord-Ishi was about. It was an amalgamation of Orcish survivability mixed with Bunny and Knife-ear strategies.

As he heard Armauk finally throw his weight behind Gaelel's idea he let a small grin cover his maw before speaking shortly after him.

"Consider this Chief, We know that bunnies don't see well in the dark on the contrary our brethren do. Why not we use that to our advantage here, its not like we are coordinating with a bunny army this time, we can do what we want to. This also brings our heavy weapons well into play." he paused drawing a deep breath and let the great Eyedrinker consider his point.

" We dispatch half of Blades under Shar's command to assault the north wall and draw attention, as the bunnies scamper towards it to fight off the threat and they start getting up from their stupor. We move in the catapults in range and attack the main gate and the barricades, cutting a larger area for our main force consisting of Half of Blades under Nargesh and Pikes under Armauk to march on forth. Meanwhile, I command a platoon of Spikes, a ballista unit and lay siege to the west wall. As the bunnies make sense of everything, we use the confusion for Gaelel and her band to sneak in and lay waste to the church and the Prince Bunny. With their armies routed and running at the gates we let the Wargs storm in under Dakgu and lay waste to everything. After which if the Prince bunny is still alive you come in and snuff the life out of him."

Speaking of unseenshade's character, I think Nargesh would probably get along with Gaelel the most.Seeing as she's probably the few of the female warriors within the company. Kind of like a big sister probably, so prehaps not far from what Diabolicalrhapsody had in mind, they might even be friends of a sort.. Not being very religious due to circumstances of her life, she probably would not care much for Shar's zealous nature. Most of everyone else she judges almost purely on their martial skill, then their over all usefulness to the company. She's fairly pragmatic like that. (though she would probably favor Armauk a bit more due to his use of a sword.)Almost to bad Orgen is not is not her type, though, he is among the few orcs that would be her physical match.

:{

So just because he uses a sword he is favored. Point noted. xP

" Ive nrver dodged bullets. Dodging balls was hard enough. I don't mind. It's a nice nickname." Katherin told him as she headed out if the dinning room. She carefully headed in the direction she remembered the gym being in. She had been there a few times so she was sure that she could find it again. She wasnt looking forward to gym. It was one of the more challeging classes for her.

"Ah sorry, that bit was from my past. It is good enough to dodge balls." he said in a even tone. "I'm glad you like it, if you don't mind would you mind telling me the extent of your powers? I mean, can you cause a hailstorm or the like." Py asked her as they made their way somewhere. He knew it wasn't the entrance or near the bedroom stairs because he had a fair idea where they were.
@Suess: Do we have catapults?

As for the strategy meeting. I believe, Knighthawk's character leads the major force through the main gate with my character in Vanguard. While Nargesh and Armauk take a detachment and swim across the side and try and storm through the side and let Galael in the Keep and maybe try and assassinate the General. How does that sound?

Indeed, but expect her to be a tad annoyed by the protectiveness. She won't be angry about it and might find it a little flattering, but she definitely will be worried it will inhibit her ability to blend or flank properly.

That is the point of distant Colossus. You never see him in action. He works were the dangers aren't apparent and a thanks never hoped for. You won't find him jumping before her character and brave an arrow aimed at her from where she can see. Because that is hers to dodge. He'll rather kill the one who would have gained from that advantage of focus.

He won't come in your way nor would she notice him unless she looks for it. Believe me, I have played such a character before.

Katherin tilted her head thoughtfully. Usually when someone shortened her name it was to Kat but she kind of like Kate. "Gym is where we do physical activities. For example the other day we played dodgeball." She explained to him. She stood to her feet and offered Py her hand. "The gym is almost a straight shot from here. I think I have the memorize the way."

"Lead on!, my lady" Py said holding onto her hand and getting up. "Dodging balls seem rather fun than dodging bullets, I must say" he let out a giggle. Before turning a bit serious and calm "Oh, I hope you don't mind me calling you Kate or honorifics. My mistress instructed me that that was the way to talk with ladies." He was looking forward to how they'll be able to get involved taking account of their evident handicap or maybe it was a time to showcase their abilities.

His mind then wandered to the possibility of playing snowfight with Kate as a happy smile appeared on his face.

'But a hail might hurt' he thought to himself.
