Romulus glared at the Doctor and snapped his fingers. His recent wrist flick was nothing casual, he meant it.

Immediately his Mana went upon the Doctor and trapped him under an illusion, doing so with magic. Though despite how old both of them were, Romulus had the upper hand, making the illusion hard to break unless the Doctor was knocked unconcious, or if Romulus were hit badly enough to release the illusion.

What the Doctor experienced was horryfing, first off his most gruesome memories came such as the Time War, the Daleks, and the Weeping Angles taking away Amy Pond. Though being paralyzed as well, these situations change in a what-would-have-happened situation. Using the illusion to play with the Doctor's mind, it was as if he were really there, pain and all. The Doctor experienced what it was for a Weeping Angel to break his neck, he felt a Dalek disintegration beam, he was attacked by the Cybermen over and over. Along with the usual twinges of pain in the Doctor's arms and legs, he could be seen as he was in pain and studdering. To the Doctor this was felt as endless hours upon hours, where in reality it was actually only a matter of minutes. Romulus meant business.

Despite Kirby trying to inhale something off of Romulus, Romulus simply sent his mana out in a shield like form to avoid the physical vaccum of Kirby's inhalement. While Kirby tried to do so, Romulus turned to look at Virgil.

"I've no interest in working with /anyone/ you've three minutes to give me the boy." Romulus said.

Alright how does this sound:

Mana & Spell System: Everyone's Mana starts at 100, each spell will have a set amount of mana consumed per use. Every use of a spell levels it up by 1 level (or one experience point, your choice) Every ten levels/experience/uses will increase your mana capacity by 100. Note, classes don't EXIST in the roleplay, but if you do indicate you are a mage, you start with 300 mana instead of 100!

When you lose 1/4 of your Mana you will start to get slightly sleepy.

When you lose HALF of your Mana you will start to get tired

When you lose 3/4 of your Mana you will be exhausted.

When you lose ALL your Mana you will be fatigued mentally and physically, vulnerable to attacks.

Sickness = An illness, probably some sort of Herbalist plant to cure. You'll be slowed down and nauseous, etc.

Poisoned = You're poisoned, you have a chance of dying.

Badly Poisoned = You're going to die unless treated. Stronger poison.
