That's what I did with my guy. I figured that there was so much going on and so many other people having posted already that it would take too much backtracking to write my character into the original entrance, so I opted to just say "I was here the whole time, but I was in another room which is why I wasn't a part of the conversation" :P

No, that's not something you have to apologise for, that was harsh of me and uncalled for, so I'm sorry. I was in the wrong there.

Your idea for Hormone manipulation does sound like a good idea, though, especially in a situation where we're outnumbered and could turn them against themselves.
