Got a post up! Sorry for the hold up, IRL's been a pain!
After throwing caution to the wind, Rainer found himself accompanying the group to the location of the new Gamer. Somewhat on edge, Rainer still didn't fully realize their destination until they had actually arrived. At first he was shocked to find himself at his own school, but then he was slightly relieved. If the other Gamer was a teacher or student he knew, then perhaps they could be someone he could trust?

That notion, however, took a backseat in his mind when they encountered Ren. Rainer immediately recognized him as the new, somewhat quiet transfer student, and almost immediately Rainer could feel his face getting hot. He hated this. For some stupid reason, he couldn't help but find Ren… Well, attractive! As much as he'd tried, he couldn't shake the attraction and it had really started to make him feel uncomfortable. Rainer knew he wasn't… inclined that way, so why did he find himself so smitten whenever Ren was around?! It made no sense!!! Whenever he was there, Rainer's attention was focused solely on him and he was having a really difficult time concealing it! When Ren started explaining aspects of Gamer abilities, however, Rainer found his interest piqued.

"Toggle Minimap." Rainer said to himself, only absently noting Zahira's embarrassing slip up. It seemed that she had enough crushes that she felt it warranted a separate window, but Rainer certainly wasn't judging. After all, he was busy checking out another male classmate, so who was he to point fingers?

The minimap appeared before him and, taking Ren's advice, Rainer used his hands to move the map into the lower left hand corner of his vision. He intended to keep the minimap open indefinitely. He was used to HUD's in games and he hoped this one would be no different. After a while, he'd surely become used to it anyway, plus it could come in handy if he ever got lost.

"So," Rainer said, addressing Ren, feeling himself start to blush again, but forcing himself to focus, "You're obviously a higher level and certainly didn't get that way by grinding day to day chores. That means you've probably fought Imps of you own and even higher level enemies, right? Then maybe you can answer a question that's been bugging me; You say Gaia gifts out these abilities and that we've been gifted with powers that make the world appear as an MMO. So does that mean we're in a Player Vs Player situation where we'll have to fight each other or an Adventure Party where we'll be fighting progressively difficult NPC's?"

Not waiting for his response, Rainer decided to experiment somewhat with voice commands. If this really was a PvP situation, he wanted to familiarize himself as much as possible with the layout to gain some sort of advantage.

"Observe." He said, looking at Ren, "Set Minimap Waypoint: Home."
xD
Vida's reaction to thinking she's dead.
"I could pinch myself or… NAH. Cut my arm with a knife! Pinching's for sissies!!!"
In the first game, I would have said head, but since her haircut in the second game… I'm not so sure.
In Joy's case, I would like to say that she is… well-kept. The hair that she controls is from all of her body, but she is able to recede it to a more… clean shaven appearance. That being said, I'll probably roll a D20 whenever Joy tries to control her power and have there be a chance of her looking like Marge at the end of the Treehouse of Horror XII episode, "Hex and the City" xD

I'mma be the first potential deviant here and say:

First and foremost: What game is that?
Secondly: What Music is that?
And finally: Is that a B-24 Liberator?

Post is up!
Also, if I start failing miserably at trying to RP a woman, let me know! I can handle the criticism!
Joy stirred groggily in her bed. The last 24+ hours had been hell. First there had been the wreck in the bus on her way back from the penitentiaries of both her parents and then there had been that damned migraine out of nowhere! She knew it wasn't due to whiplash, she'd checked herself over before the ambulance crews had even gotten there, and they'd done little more than confirm her assessment; A few bumps and bruises, but no real injuries to be concerned about. That didn't change the fact that she'd ended up with a mind rending headache at around seven that evening. She'd taken a few painkillers and shut out as many lights as she could, but it just got worse from there.
Around eleven her body started to ache, from her joints to her sinuses. Joy even felt like she was developing a fever, her body feeling hot as well as sore. She ended up taking some DayQuil to help her sleep. Here body was funny like that, DayQuil was guaranteed to knock her out for up to sixteen hours of sleep while NyQuil, for some reason, kept her awake and gave her a splitting headache, and she'd had enough of the latter for today.

Nevertheless, she'd ended up stripping down to only her underwear before crawling into bed, hoping to cool down while she slept. At this point, her body ached so much that bra was out of the question! The last thing she wanted was the clasps on the back digging into her, she was sore and irritable enough already! The DayQuil did what it was supposed to, however, and Joy soon found herself fast asleep.

In her dreams, she was with her mother and father again, living on a property in south-east Texas. They'd owned the land for nearly a generation and it was part of their 'Apocalypse Plan'. They were to rendezvous there if… When[I] it all went to hell and society started to fall. They were squatting in a blind, hunting. They'd already bagged plenty of cotton tail and were hoping for some venison. That much meat would last them a [i]long time in their chest freezer back home.
They were downwind, the house behind them to the north. The buck was about a hundred feet in front of them and Joy knew she had a shot. The Midway Partisan was no good here, but she had a scoped Mosin Nagant just for this occasion, especially useful considering how expensive .22 ammo was nowadays… For a moment Joy found herself grateful that she knew how to load her own bullets. Resting the stock on her shoulder, Joy let the crosshairs of her scope fall on the deer. It was a good clean shot, hopefully a good, clean kill. All she needed w-

Joy's eyes shot awake. She was awake, but why? What had woken her? She was still slightly groggy, but her mind was trying desperately to asses. Her aches were gone, as was her headache. Sunlight was spilling into the room, reflecting off the black of the sleeves on her jumpsuit, absorbing the heat and making her feel hotter than was necessarily comfortab-

Black jumpsuit?!

Joy sat bolt upright. She knew she hadn't been dressed when she went to bed, so why was she clothed now? Had somebody dressed her? Why? Jumping out of bed, Joy made her way to the bathroom, inspecting herself in the mirror. Whatever she was wearing it was… revealing. The chest was open from her neck to her navel, leaving little of her bust to the imagination and the sides, running from under her arms to her upper thighs were similarly revealing. The entire outfit was skin tight and form fitting, with padded shoulders, a black choker around her neck and some sort of belt… thing. The whole outfit was laughably impractical, yet somehow it seemed like it was designed for combat!
The boots were definitely combat and the material was incredibly light. The feel of the fibre of the glove that covered Joys hands felt strange, yet familiar and durable. It was all so comfortable and light that it almost felt like it wasn't there, as if it were as natural as her own skin. Not only that, something was off about it, something missing. It took a moment for Joy to realise that it was the stitching. Or lack thereof. No matter where she looked, there was no stitching anywhere, no sign that this outfit had bee sew at all, as if it were all on continuous piece of clothing, which was impossible.

Studying herself in the mirror, still trying to understand what was happening, Joy frowned. "Something's happened." She said hesitantly, carefully analyzing her situation."Something's changed."
Yay, IC is up!
I'm hoping to have a post up tomorrow! (Life is currently being a pain, here's hoping tomorrow lets up a lil'!)
Nine years ago, I was starting Uni…

Man, I remember playing Berzerk (sic) on the Atari 2600… And then Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (see also: When Sonic was good) on the Mega Drive, playing straight through until around the Sky Chase Zone because saving on a game cartridge didn't exist yet. Never was able to beat it...

And I'm not even thirty…

I feel that this is relevant:

As the title says, like "What Are You Listening To?", but visual!
