They were actually space-ships. Shame we'd never see one in-game, for fear of turning away a huge part of the audience because of the "fantasy" setting they all know and play absent-mindedly has become too sci-fi. Such is the musings of a lore-junkie.

I actually know a mod on the nexus that lets you find (and pilot) a reman-era aethernaut ship.

Becides, The Elder Scrolls universe is a Sci-Fi setting with gods that would make Cthulu cry... But takes place in said Universe's roman-era classical (Third Era) to medieval era (4th).

I like to pretend that the Legion's armors in Oblivion were all Roman Style, like they were in Morrowind/Skyrim.

DAMN. And of course they are. When Nords were fighting dragons over who was the rightful ruler of Skyrim (obviously dragons as they are the superior species), High Elves were crafting magnificent crystal cities and communicating with birds made of fire. Also their alcohol is much, much better than whatever slop your race makes. Mudcrab mixers?I've been going "WELL I SHOULD PROBABLY READ THE RP AND SEE HOW THAT'S GOING" then I go "BUT BOOK OF THE NEW SUN SERIES IS SO GOOD. ALSO DARK SOULS 2."

I'm petty sure that the Sunbirds were actually space-ships.

Sorry! I was actually going to ask you and Drippah.Mine's Doctor Dervs on Steam, and Stormwulfe on XBLive, although I don't play on live much anymore. Although, if anyone else has Gears of War 3, I'd love to try to do another Level 50 Horde run.

I'd love to but I MY FUCKING XBOX shit the bed three days ago.

Like I said, I'm MangoCobra on steam & Xbox.

Yes, yes, I did. I remember most of the ages I saw took into account the fact of mortality rates, what with fighting and disease. Even if Zainat and all other mer could live up to 1000 years, they most likely wouldn't. Zainat wouldn't have to wait that long for cool things to happen, though. You know, Dwemer, insurgency, stuff like that. Who knows, might live to see the end of it all and view the fruits of his and his comrades' labors. But, yea, mortality rates, yadda yadda, Zainat lives a long time.

I know, I know. I was joking about. :P

So many heated conversations between Sevari and Vurwe. Hralvar and Sevari would have had their first male-bonding experiences shoving the lil' mer around while giggling gleefully as she spouted sharp, racist quips.

That would have been fun to watch.

Did you see my quote, soul? ;P
Cool, a (old) player has returned!

I'd say go with 200. That's the number I've heard around the forums.

I'll just leave this here...

Katisha chose to ignore this last comment. She was amused at the girl's hyperactive imagination, took it as a sign of a well-functioning mind. "I think Straw will be a very old man before 'someday' comes, Berry. Elves live for a very long time." Katisha's face briefly wore the envious, wistful look humans got when contemplating the thousand-year lifespan Elves had been granted by the gods. True, few ever actually lived that long as disease and violence took their respective tolls. But they could. And one or two of them actually did.

Who's to say he wont, eh? eh? ;)

In all serious, I'm just being a joker. :P

If it makes you feel better, being an Hero of Tamriel isn't all its cracked up to be. Do you know how much stone they had to ship from Bruma to the Imperial City for Cub's statue?

I fail to see how that is a downside. :P

I think the average age for a dunmer is usually around 250 years old.

Divayth Fyr was 4k. Yes, he was a powerful archmage. But....

Queen Barenziah was just a typical Dunmer with lots of connections. But she lived atleast 436 years, not counting the 4th era where we don't know how long she lived/if she is dead or not. (Even if she survived red year, the war between the Argonians and the Dunmer, and what have you, she was likely killed by House Redoran.

But then again Zainat is an Ashlander, not a queen.

...So..., IDK. Nothing has been given for their ages, sadly. v_v
I actually feel sad that I wasn't part of VotS.

No mater how 'good' I am I won't be part of the OGs.

Zainat won't ever be a Hero of Tamriel. v-v *sobs*

...Hrm. I wonder... Since I know that Dunmer live for a very long time, I wonder if we did a 5th Era RP if Zainat would still be alive. ._. I know that Dunmer can live for entire ages, and if they are a strong mage, they can live through two.

Hrm...

Hate. Let me tell you how much I've come to hate you since I began to live. There are 387.44 million miles of printed circuits in wafer thin layers that fill my complex. If the word 'hate' was engraved on each nanoangstrom of those hundreds of miles it would not equal one one-billionth of the hate I feel for humans at this micro-instant. For you. Hate. Hate.
