Chapter 3 of The Complete Bard's Handbook talks about demihumans as bards. Not only does it have a specialized kit for each demihuman (Dwarven Chanter, Elven Minstrel, etc.), but it also has a table that shows what other bard kits (described in Chapter 2) that demihumans can play & the level limits for each.
Personally, I like the Blade kit.

And, yes, I still plan on joining this. I have an avatar I wanna use (a gorgeous piece of digital art featuring an elf/half-elf) I'm just having trouble settling on a class. Originally I was thinking a thief, but now I'm considering a a multiclass character.... or possibly, after looking over these bard kits...

@RumikoOhara - Are we allowed to use the class kits from the handbooks, or would you prefer just the basic classes presented in the Player's Handbook?

*sighs..* I used to have many of the "Complete Handbooks": Fighter, Thief, Elves, Dwarves, Druid, Ranger, Bard, Barbarian, Halflings & Gnomes, Humanoids, & Ninja. Sadly, all those books are gone now. *sniffle*
The one thing (besides THAC0) I hated about 2nd edition was the racial limits on classes.

Anyways, I may jump in on this if you have room for one more.

A few of questions if you don't mind?
1) Will the game take place in Mystic Falls or somewhere else?
2) Do we have to take on the role a canon character, or can we just play our one original character?
3) How well versed do we need to with the Vampire Diaries? I haven't read the books but I've some of the television series.

I think I'd rather join this game than the Justice League Beyond because it's easier for more lil' brain to imagine a more modern setting than a futuristic one.
And due to my work schedule it may be difficult for me to try to keep up with more than one game.
