Hey, unnamed hero! I'm very interested in a Dark Souls RP, do you have anything specific in mind, like the time it would take place? During the events of the first game, second game, or one of the many ages that have passed since the two games?
Well I've always been fond of the idea of just taking the same plot as the first Dark Souls but just making our characters the chosen undead. But if you have a better idea or a different idea in general just let me know! PM me so we and discuss it :)
I really appreciate it and I'm glad you liked my intro! I hope the rest of your Halloween is filled with fun and candy and other things of the like! :D
I'm always here if you are interested in an RP! :)
Well hello! Thanks for taking a look at this thread here! If you are here it can only mean one thing: That you are looking for the classifieds as you just quit your job because your boss is a jerk. No? You say you are here because you want to look at potential 1x1 thread ideas? Pffftt...who does that these days? What? You say all the kids are doing it? Snap!
Anyways. Yes! Hello! I know the username says don't call me zelda but I'm not going to do anything if you do. But if you get the reference (I mean how can you not?) maybe you will call me by the other name. Or you can call me whatever you want. Before I get into the listings and stuff I think I have to give the few "mandatory" tidbits about myself and what I..."expect?" ------------------------------- -First off, I'm a male but that doesn't mean I will only play male characters. I'm open to playing females but I usually tend to play male.
-I would like at least a paragraph or two for a response. I just don't like one liners or other really short responses. I tend to write at least three to four paragraphs or more but don't let that scare you. Sometimes I can't write that much :) -I don't want an RP that is just smut or centered solely on romance. I like to let romance develop, AND it IS NOT mandatory for a 1x1 RP. :P
I don't exactly know what I am supposed to say here...I honestly thought I would be able to write more. Oh! I love OOC chat and planning so if you want to hack a plot out then by all means tell me! Now, on to the lists and what not. ------------- I'm just going to go ahead and list a whole bunch of things here like fandoms and the like that I would love to do an RP in.
I know these are all broad but we can develop a plot, I guarantee it ;) I'm open to OCxOC or CanonxCanon or OCxCanon and blah blah you get it.
Dragon Quest Series Who doesn’t love a good story about a hero and his merry and memorable band of inseparable friends journeying together to vanquish evil huh?
Slice of Life PSA: I absolutely love Slice of life RP. It is a huge guilty pleasure of mine.
Xenoblade: Yeah! Now it’s Reyn time! But for real I love the setting of xenoblade 1. We could do our own story or just have some kind of world set on titans of some kind. Anything is possible!
Persona Series I think the persona series is absolutely incredible. I also think it would be very easy to come up with our own story while we manage our daily lives and fighting shadows in the Metaverse! Or, we create our own story!
My Hero Academia : I absolutely love the show. Doing some kind of quirky based super power thing sounds really fun to me Sword Art Online Or Gun Gale Online Or some kind of steampunk world riddled with guns and monsters
Mass Effect (I've done a number of ME RPs and I can't get enough of them.)
World of Warcraft Or just anything set in the Warcraft universe!
Elder Scrolls
Legend of Zelda (Any! I have a few ideas!)
Destiny (I have an idea for this that I'm super interested in. Maybe the RP will be longer than the campaign?)
Borderlands 1 or 2
Left for Dead or anything zombie related really
Fallout
--- Additions ---
Fate Grand Order Definitely a guilty pleasure of some kind. Just interesting to think about playing around in some of the singularities/lost belts and their implications on human history.
Dragon Age I honestly have no idea how I left this off...
Final Fantasy So... I don't mean to hurt you final fantasy fanatics out there by putting this up here without much knowledge of the series but... I'm putting it up here anyway. I've only played Final Fantasy 10 and I'm currently playing Final Fantasy XIV Online :) So if you would like to do this plot, you might have to mentor me a bit and forgive my shortcomings :)
RWBY I've just recently started watching this show. I enjoy it.
Anti Magic Academy Or just anything involving modern day/future witch hunting stuff.
Supernatural Yes the tv show.
Fire Emblem I really enjoyed Awakening and would love to do a story somewhat similar to it but maybe with our own characters OR, just something in the fire emblem universe is always good too! I would definitely be down for that.
So in this little section I wanted to list some little plots I might be throwing around in my head. They might be already based on existing shows/games whatever. Or original ideas that I've finally had the courage to try and flesh out.
(Fantasy) MxF, FxF My Character x Sub-human/Mage (or both) (I would be willing to switch roles as well!) This world is unfair. It doesn't treat anyone the way it should and those who are smart enough, or lucky enough to manipulate it the way they want end up coming out on top. The message plastered all over the world was quite simply this: "If you seek harmony and peace you will find no other place more warmly welcoming that Atticania." Attacania was one of the major cities in this world. It prided itself on being an empire free of magical ties and one founded by the sweat of humanity's brow. The city has a zero tolerance for magic and sub-species in general. Those who are found to possess magical qualities are either killed on sight or they are sent to the stocks where they rot.
Given this one can easily see this city is founded on a large bed of lies. It does maintain a large amount of peace but something is brewing in the dark recesses of the King's Guard. The King's wife has fallen deathly ill and he is taking it out on anyone and everyone who crosses him or gives him a small amount of backtalk. He was such a kind man in the past. Truth be told, the King is well aware of the hardships those who are deemed as sub-humans or magic users endure. But he cares not.
A dark plot is in motion. The King has started to round up sub-humans and those with magic. His Guard informed him that they are to blame for his wife's illness. This is where my character and your character come into play. My character will break out of his shell and pledge to help your character find a better life. Seeking refuge in one of the far away Elven Kingdoms perhaps. The RP will focus heavily on our characters interacting with each other and having to overcome different trials and other hardships. Romance can be involved as well, but if it does not develop naturally that is fine with me. I LOVE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT AND SAPPY CAMPFIRE MOMENTS.
She's a cutie.
This RP follows along the theme of Rise of the Shield Hero. The anime/manga puts the idea of Sub-humans or those with animal traits (such as with Raphtalia: raccoon ears and a tail) treated as second rate citizens and sold into slavery and killed and the like. But I didn't want your character to be limited to that if that wasn't your cup of tea. So I included magic users as well (kinda like dragon age). But this plot will revolve around your character being a sub-human or a mage, or both! And my character breaking his ties to the kingdom and giving it his all to help you find peace in this world. There will be a definite plot to follow with trials and tribulations along the way. Recurring villains and a central antagonist.
I'd love to give more details if you seem interested in it!
Sci-Fi, Cyberpunk, Fantasy-like The year is 2257
The sound of machinery and multiple tvs blaring a wide variety of news, sports and entertainment programs deafens the lively conversations in this dimly lit enclosure. With a solemn sigh the young woman behind the bar counter continued about her menial job, washing the glass in her hand before someone flagged her down. A man. With both eyes replaced with augmented specs, a robotic arm and prosthetic wires coursing over his body. You could basically see the electrical current coming from him. He ordered a drink. A big one. To which the bartender agreed. Turning her delicate hands back to the drink station, gathering the necessary liquids and mixing them together.
As she passed the drink back to the man, a familiar commercial blasted over all of the tvs. She tuned into it but no one else in the bar did. Perhaps they were so numb to it. This thing did play in everyone's head almost every hour on the hour. "Greetings my fellow citizens of Enthena. We hope you're having a wonderful afternoon. This message is to serve as a reminder of the mandatory human implant cybernetic upgrades that will be distributed at your local cyber-pharmacies on the 31st of this month. It is mandatory that every human augmented with a Cfs-754 reality enhancing build have the upgrade installed or else you will be considered obsolete and forced to comply, or suffer a digital meltdown. --The message was now playing in all of their heads. Some were listening, but you could tell some were actively ignoring it-- Thank you all for your continued patronage as we strive to make Enthena the most wonderful place for humanity. Remember - Humans live to change. Why stop now?
With that, the broadcast ended and she passed the man his drink. "Hey, Bartender" She snapped out of her stupor to face the man. "Ah, sorry sir. Yes? Is there a problem?"
He simply nodded before taking a drink. "Not one bit. Just a quick question for ya. You got almost no augmentation save the ones forced on ya. You tryna make a statement or sumthin'?"
She could only laugh at his statement. Dismissing the glow to her eyes from the forced optic augment. "Not at all." She started before stretching a bit. "It just helps to retain a bit of humanity."
A loud bang interrupts the conversation, with smoke billowing into the sky almost seconds later. The culprits, three men armed heavily to the teeth stealing precious data silos for bank accounts of poor victims. However, due to the cyber security force, an almost immediate response apprehends two of the men. With one getting away. This was nothing new. So much so that almost no one in the bar panicked. Checking the time, the young woman behind the counter swiped her hand and shut off all the tvs. "Alright people. File out of here. I'm sure you all got the brain scan, return to your homes or nearest shelters until the situation is under control. I have to lockdown."
They filed out as instructed. Everyone painfully used to the crime in the city. As she shut the doors and activated her steel fortifications, she sat back down in a bar seat and let out a soft sigh. A secure channel to her computer was opened and a message displayed, "Your place is off limits. Too close. We have the goods and you will get paid. Your information was solid. Thanks for the help"
If you tried to respond to the message, you would only get a communication error. Now, all she had to do was wait. However, things were about to get much worse for this young woman.
----- Heya! So sorry about that exposition, I got a bit carried away so I will round all this up. This is an idea I had based off of my Cyberpunk 2077 experience and numerous other books I've read about corporate controlled society in the far future. Basically the story revolves around my character, an information trade and hacker who has not gotten the latest augmentation, meeting your character - whoever you wish to be! The both of them will get caught up in the thick of things only to realize the world is about to get much worse. The main corporation controlling Enthena is harboring a sinister plot. Nothing good can come from too much augmentation after all. This organization is known as the Crimson Harbor. They operate almost every facet of life in Enthena. Some are too augmented to even care, and others know this but they are powerless to fight.
That's it for additions for now... ;) Again, as it's most likely mentioned below...or above...I forget, if something you want to do is not listed here go ahead and PM me or post here!
I am blanking out on some others but I know they are there! If you don't see something that interests you there just PM what you were looking for and who knows! I may know about it and stuff.
Alright, now for the basic list of just regular pairings. Oh? You wanted a long list of possible pairings? Well I think it would be easier to just give a few areas of interest instead. Don't question my methods... ;)
-Anything in a fantasy setting i.e. dwarves, elves and the like, kingdoms and the evil guy and what not -Kingdoms and the like NOT in a fantasy setting, like during the crusades or just made up kingdoms -Most western settings -Sci-fi or cyber type -Steampunk - Anything Slice of Life style - Something slice of life but with a fantasy twist. -Anything pirate related I know that's probably not what you were looking for, but hey, cut me some slack okay? Please? Anyways! Just shoot me a PM or post here if you are interested in an RP with me! Also, if something you were looking for is not listed here or you are just confused on the whole thing, just PM or post with what you were looking for!
It had been a few months now since the 10,000 players learned that they were now trapped inside this virtual reality. Since day one Pipit took it rather hard, but on that night he vowed that he wasn't going to let this get him down. He was determined to survive until the end and make it out of here. Or at least that was what he said on the first night. Back those few months ago Pipit had been with numerous players on boss clearings and floor raids and other missions and he had grown stronger. When he was about level six he learned that he earned a class specific skill since he was a beast tamer.
He was given a quest and when he went to check it out he wasn't alone. During that time he partied up with two other beast tamers and they each promised they wouldn't move on unless they each finished the quest with a companion. As they started the quest they all learned of the numerous number of beasts and other companions they could tame and train. The area they were in was full of creatures, big and small. The first one to tame their animal was a girl about the same age as Pipit. She made taming her beast look so easy and even though she was done she kept her word and stayed with Pipit and the younger player with them. Pipit was the next to tame his beast. He chose the dire wolf for an obvious reason from his thinking back in the real world but whenever he is asked about why he chose such a beast he gives them the ol, 'I chose him for the stats and attack bonuses.' Which was true...to a point. But quickly after the younger boy with them chose a rather easy beast to tame, some kind of large bird, it's been a while and one can forget names of other animals.
With each player a beast tamed the girl with them suggested they split up. But each of them exchanged and accepted friend requests and with that each of them went their separate ways. Pipit quickly went to grinding exp and completing easy missions to help empower his new companion. The beast didn't seem to much care for Pipit at first but it must have been after he hit a certain level he became more loyal. He still doesn't mind sometimes however
Now here he is, on the 20th floor. Pipit wandered around the rather medival looking town for a few minutes with his companion at his side before he decided to take a load off and get something to drink or eat. He quickly spotted a pub and decided that would be a suitable place to get some food and drink. So he made his way to the pub..or cafe area and opened up the door and stepped inside. He made sure his little companion entered as well before he shut the door. The place was full of players and NPCs and it was...actually hard to tell them apart. Pipit only got a few looks and he quickly returned the looks with a smile and a nod. His companion stuck his tongue out and opened his mouth and proceeded to let out a few yelps of happiness.
Due to his small size the yelps were rather high pitched and Pipit quickly bent down and placed his hand on the wolf's head. It arched its head back and stopped yelping and Pipit couldn't help but smile and let out a few laughs. After that he stood up and took a seat at a table by himself and his beast sat on its haunches on the floor next to him. A menu was laying on the table in front of him and after looking it over Pipit didn't see anything that he particularly just had to have. But during that quest to earn his beast he was given the recipe for a type of food his companion would like. Luckily during his travels he partied up with a young man who was something up a food genius...his cooking level was really high, and he made a few batches of the stuff for Pipit. So he opened his inventory and tapped on one helping of the stuff and it materialized in front of him. Little bits of meat and what not here and there on a small plate...Pipit thought it would be rather funny to have other people look over and think he was going to eat this kind of food.
His companion was quick to notice the food and his tail started to wag rapidly. He let out small grunts and yelp of two as Pipit lowered the food onto the ground in front of him. The wolf instantly started to carve into the food in front of him, and of course, Pipit started to smile. After that the young man looked up from his companion and started to look at the players around the cafe. He noticed a few that stuck out in particular but...he saw no other beast tamers. But no matter. He was sure there were others out there, he just needed to keep looking. Always keep a positive outlook right?
At that moment Pipit started to think. He had heard somewhere that there was going to be a raid against the boss of one of the floors close to the one he was on. Was this the meeting place? He had only been on one or two boss raids before...but he didn't even know about this one. If that was even what all these players were doing here. They could all just be here to enjoy a good meal. Oh no..not a good meal. Just a meal.
Pipit let out a small yelp as he, along with the whole other mass of players online at the moment, were transported to the center plaza in the Town of Beginnings. Midst the commotion a large figured appeared as the sky turned a dark red along with warning messages all over the place. The large figure silenced the crowd and began to speak. Words of how they players were all trapped inside the game sparked new noises to come from the crowd. Just as every other player was doing this Pipit brought his menu down and sure enough, the Log Out button was missing. So..this just had be some kind of event right? There was no way the developers would just do this to all these people...right?
Just when he was about to close his inventory he caught sight of something. He didn't remember having anything before so he gave it a second glace. A Mirror had been placed in his inventory. Pipit tapped it and it materialized in his hand. He noticed he wasn't the only one with the mirror either. So he looked into it and when he did a flash of white erupted around him, and all the other players who looked at their reflections. When the light subsided, Pipit looked himself over and then looked back at his reflection He let out a small yelp again as he now looked exactly like he did in the real world! The changes from his avatar weren't that much though, but they were noticeable to him. Player's quickly realized who everyone really was. At this moment the figured continued to speak and after a few minutes he was gone and the sky returned to normal and the barriers around the town went away.
Players started to funnel out of the Plaza and the commotion started up again. Pipit slowly started to walk along with the mass but he really didn't know why. If this was real...then he was trapped in here. And if he died in this game..he was dead in real life. It was almost too much to comprehend at this moment...but now he just needed time to think. So the young man continued to walk by himself through the small crowd he was a part of to exit the Town. This had to be some kind of Day One event or something. There was no way this was real. Right?
