Hey there role-players! I am the Dracogenius, but you can call me any of the following nicknames served in my signature, and today, I want to role-play! That's right --

"Sh! I'm trying to relate to the readers in present time, but thanks for catching onto that."

So yes, this thread will be a never-ending search for role-play partners, role-play partners, and more role-play partners! I've made lists of all the things that interest me and what I can and cannot do. Feel free to either private message me or hit me up within the thread about doing a one-on-one (or if you prefer, I will make a group role-play). When I really feel like role-playing and there are no eye-catching ideas out there I will be bumping this thread. Now, before I got on about my preferences, there are a few thinks I'd like to address, which are general rules and notes, things I will prefer not to role-play, and my typical unavailable schedule thanks to school or dragon reasons.
Onwards!

Typical Rules & Generals

1. Follow forum rules, yes? Yes.


2. No god-modding. Even if this is a one-on-one, the rule still applies.


3. Literacy is highly preferred. No, just because you can write a ton of sentences doesn't mean you're literate. What I’m saying is proper spelling, grammar, and so on. I understand it cannot be done all the time, for I can't manage it myself, but the effort is appreciated. Free, Casual, or Advanced and anything in between are things I can do. I do type a lot, as one may begin to tell, but I fluctuate by role-play level and how much action is going on.


4. I don't care about your characters gender or about your real-life gender. They are two different things that generally shouldn’t affect anything about the role-play, unless the society in the role-play has a bias towards one gender, then that may weigh something upon our own characters. I can’t believe I even have to state this honestly.


5. If you can't tell from the above, I separate real-life from role-playing. I am not my character. Unless I feel really silly, then I’ll toss myself into the role-play, because what isn’t a bigger joke than my existence? (“No Draco, don’t say that!” “And that within itself was a joke, reader.”)


6. If I do have a character-type preference, I will speak out, but I typically end up playing two characters, even genders, and end up balancing things out due to my own preference of being neat.


7. I typically use anime pictures for character pictures, but if you prefer for me to use descriptions or real-pictures, just let me know. Then you can use whatever pictures you'd like. I am not picky!


8. Talk to me! I like working with my role-play partner to make something awesome and to collaborate, so please don't be afraid to speak up about any ideas you may have and so on.


9. If an idea interests you, but you prefer to do it as a group role-play, just let me know and I’ll make it one.

Nope & Nope
I have hid the following in a spoiler in case it seems very long, because it seems like such to me. The following lists these elements as being role-played; references, when capable of being made, will be alright, but I will not role-play and write these things. However, exceptions can be made to those who find role-playing a coping mechanism to their past events and fears… But you’re on your honor. In general though, I would like to avoid the following…
( heads up :: most are sexual-related items, but still look to be cautious )

no bartering

Sex-based role-plays. If you're not a close friend that I have role-played with before this will never happen. I will also not prefer to role-play anything like that on this site. "But Draco, private messages!" "No speaker. Just. No."

Gender-specific role-plays. I typically shoot most of these down, even if they sound fun or a good idea, because specifics like that scare me from other hidden specifics that I may not know about. That, and it’s personally bothersome to me, but what isn’t personally bothersome in this list?

Characters lacking realism, side effects, or represent a glorification to a disorder, disability, etc. they have. It really bothers me that if an event has happened to a human, they are not affected. If we consider certain species as being incapable of having human feelings, all such is understandable, but I promise you that when a human runs into a traumatic event, disorder, etc. it doesn't flutter away like a butterfly, and nor is it a golden trophy to shelf. I'm a little ashamed to have to state this, but it's true; I've role-played with people who have had characters like this. I would prefer to avoid such, but in return, my characters shall also follow this rule.

Incest. Any combination you name, I just won’t do. Don't care if sisters, brothers, father to daughter, etc., I will not role-play scenarios with glorification to this. You may have whatever you like with your characters, but if we're playing family members, I will not enjoy having them kiss in rather... romantic ways.

Pedophilia. Even if your character is supposed to be a 666 year old vampire who looks like a 10 year-old while my character is a 23 year-old vampire hunter, the bottom line is no. If your character appears to be a child, or is a child, I will not like them shaking up the coffin. Thanks.

Kinks. This should fall under sex-based role-plays no-no, but maybe some just don't understand, so now I shall state: I will not role-play with you for your own excitement amusement. No role-plays based on this; your characters can keep their kinks, but only expect making references about them and not actually writing their, or your, fantasy.

Power-fueling role-plays. What's the point of role-playing if you just want to run around slaughtering all of our characters…? I mean, from my experience, there are some people who enjoy this, and well… I don’t, because these things tend to turn out really flat like a board. They’re… boar-ing. Okay, that was bad and not even close. Ignore me.

Role-plays in Arena and Nation. I do enjoy battles in role-playing, but I don’t like being only about battle. Also, I don’t think I can make anything worthy of being in Nation, and if I did, I probably wouldn’t recognize it and just slap it into one of the role-play sections. So, if a role-play is made or done like this, I probably didn’t have the intention of making it as such or putting it in the Arena or Nation section.

Glorification to drinking, drug-use, and medicine abuse. I will not allow these things to be praised or have some sort of golden light. I too have personal reasons, y’know.

This one is a little up in the air, but here it goes: one character based role-plays. Sometimes, if it is called in for the plot, sure, I would love to! However, I like to give all characters equal attention and importance. So, when we role-play, I would enjoy having all of our characters involved in one way or another, even if there is some sort of star to the show, or the role-play better be really great with that main-character circumstance.

Schedule & Road-Blocks
Within the spoiler will be given times and dates when I will be unavailable. Usually this is my school times, while other times I'm going on vacation (wait a second... what is a vacation again?). So, I may not be able to up-date when going food-shopping with the family or sleeping, but will be updated for routinely events and times that I will not be online. These are estimated times and include when I walk out the door.

General Ideas
This list will be updated with anymore I create, but for now, here are some ideas I have done before and still would like to do. I can also do these as group role-plays, so upon request with the magic word, I will make it!
All ideas in spoilers below are mine, so please, please being considerate and receive my whole-heart permission before using them if you wish to make a role-play out of them. Thank you.

angelic trio

The War of the Angelic Trio. I can rinse and repeat this to the death of me.

A war has ignited between three kingdoms within a mess of executions and accusations. Many other kingdoms have chosen to avoid any contact between the three main kingdoms with the decision to remain neutral for future or sake of themselves, leaving the three at heads with each other. The war has yet to grow, though it has at least been played off on a battle field at least once. What was the case that started it all?

Well, it's said that there was an assassin from the Kingdom of Gabriel hired to take out royalty from the Kingdom of Michael. The royals of Gabriel stated that they saw evil ready to overthrow the Kingdom of Michael through the throne. The kingdom had assassinated Michael's queen and king in order to prevent this from happening. Michael's new queen and king were willing to rage a war against the Kingdom of Gabriel, but another kingdom stepped in. The Kingdom of Raphael wanted to keep a peace treaty intact between the three kingdoms, and thus the kingdom became allies with the two. However, Raphael's king was discovered with such plans and was turned away as a liar and backstabber by both kingdoms.

The tension between the kingdoms rise day by day, however there is one kingdom that still remains. One kingdom that they thought their ancestors locked up for good, but this fourth kingdom sees its opportunity to take back its lost glory and more…

file crashing, magician hunting

Technologic was a terrible title; I made it in 2010, don’t ask. In fact, looking back on this, the plot has a lot of holes…

The amount of time that has passed between then and now is ridiculous. It's not worth mentioning. Our land has stood around for so long, and we have been able to see life thrive beyond anything we have ever imagined. With long periods of time and exponential growth in human society, there comes change, and with change, there comes love, hatred, improvements, and control.

People nowadays view the world as a Utopia, perfected with the career of their dreams and perhaps children of one, two, or three. These are the people who are working too much to even notice the blood or the hate. Little do these people know that there is a hunt for magicians.

The death toll of magicians has grown day by day since the creation of what are known as Files. Humans who have evolved overtime to become in touch with elemental magic have been an awesome, but threatening sight. In order to maintain the power of the magicians, they are claimed to be tamed. Thus, an over-seeing power made Files with the aid of magicians, under the first impression that these Files are improved citizen police. However, they have been turned around, for a magician’s worse.

These Files are recycled humans who were saved from being so-called “pointless” or death. Since their initial creation, they've been used to execute criminals, rebels, magicians, and street rats. Despite this side of the story, no one worries: magicians are becoming extinct along with their magic and Files are now filling in for the rut parts of life. Surely, a human will no longer need to suffer. They will be able to have the perfect life, every error being patched up with a simple File. When you push this chaos aside, you have what is deemed to be a perfected world.

That is, if you’re not a magician running for your life.

Original Interests
Below you will find themes, elements, and more under the list “concepts and relationships”. I do not think I will have to make a ship-list or romantic-pairings list with specific characters and so, but I did so anyways in another box that will be found next to the general concepts and ideas I enjoy. These are not taking into account any specifics an idea may have, but rather, general stuff. None of the following are in order of preference or alphabetically though. These are just things I generally enjoy and like; on some days, I may feel disinterested, but on others I will probably like them. That doesn’t mean I won’t try something else if you pitch something that doesn’t relate to this list and I like it (but this is pretty broad and thus that task shouldn’t be hard to do). Take note that this is not a fandom list, and rather, that list will be followed up after this original-interests list.

Also, I enjoy mixing things up, so don’t be afraid to pitch an idea of certain mixes and good stuff!

Concepts & Relationships
Here is a list of all the concepts that I am generally interested in. It is pretty huge, as you can see, but is open for being mixed and matched. Each line has two ideas onto them, but those ideas do not need to be paired up. These elements can be applied to plots, settings, characters, and so on. There might be over-laps in the areas, so do forgive me for such. On the bright side, we can mix-and-match, so yay!

Now, over here is a list of all the ships I will most likely enjoy doing. I may have gender or role preferences, but when I feel like I have a strong preference I will let you know. Often times though, I don’t really like pre-made romance role-plays due to forced character compatibilities that make me cringe to watch. It is nice when a couple are cute together or work out hand to hand, and I would much rather prefer that as oppose to stuffing love down our character’s throats.

Fandoms
To finish off the master-post of interests and nice stuff, here is a list of all the fandoms I am in. A few fandoms listed are ones I am interested in, namely the latter three, however I am not up-to-date or know all I can about them, but while giving me bits of information for them will easily grasp to my mind. I can work with alternations to certain fandoms and so on if I like the idea. Certain things I know too well, while others not much, and to wrap this statement up, I will say that any fandoms listed are ones I am interested in role-playing. Sure, I may like something, but would I want role-play it? Puella Magi Madoka Magica is an example. Loved it, but… role-playing it? Some concepts and ideas are just not fit for role-playing in my opinion.

I do wish to manage the sorts of role-plays that will be on my platter, so sometimes I may not do an advanced role-play because I feel like five advanced role-plays are suffocating me, but other times I may feel like doing something more complex or simple than what has been presented. Do not be afraid to message me though! I don’t bite - I mean, unless you’re seeking critique or upsetting me. One will be unintentional, and the other is me hurling a lava axe at you. War of the Angelic Trio: Reboot

The knight's eyes glared around the room, yet her ear remained open to the king's word. If anything though, she had only listened to him under the circumstance of his title. There was no other reason to why she would concentrate on singling out one voice upon a mumbling million, and if he was not king then she would be wasting her time. Her duty had kept her away from making acquaintances and eliminated herself from becoming close to anyone. Not a single friend, and she had to be content with that. Was she truly? No, not at all, but it was for the better, and for as long as she constantly rehearsed that honest choir in head then she had no other reason as to change it. Her eyes skimmed the room, but once he spoke of importance, she had turned her eyes towards him.

"Yes my lord," Adeline responded, nodding her head with eyes set on him. She was about to speak quietly to him about preference and location, for surely it had to be a place that had or would not create commotion. However, she was paused as the had redirected his attention to a servant. A simple servant boy, but she studied his figure and took a bit of pity upon him when was called on. The king's bias bled through well... his voice stronger than usual, which had put her off-guard and yet wished he used it more. The gentle appearance was kind and welcoming, especially for the people of the kingdom, but she was a subject and pawn. While avoiding brute-force was preferred for the sake of reputation, it was still important to not allow this treatment get out of hand. Especially if so, a spy was among the maids... Oh, and how she would be treated innocently. Perhaps such was nonexistent though, but it was important to keep balance above all else.

However, who was the knight to say? She had set her eyes back upon Casper, only to inquire. "Gardens have no walls, and even so, the ivy deafens them well," Adeline spoke in tune to the king's dialogue. He was rather fun to speak with and there was no doubt about it. All her reading as a child would seem to pay off the best in a moment's time like this. It furthermore made her smile upon the fact that this was what she did best, and that was to incorporate a little literature into her daily like, though much of that were of fairy-tales... And yet she had to avoid doing so for, again, her duty. What a nuisance, suffocating her desire for a free life, but she was bound to it. It was as simple as life bound to death, and perhaps that was the most simple of examples she could think and repeat. "However, do choose a place best fit to speak in. I will follow you, your Majesty." She didn't end with a smile, but rather, had a sense of attentiveness to the point of stiffness. If she was to be pushed, there was a sense that she was sure not to feel such. Complimented by the dancing lights within the room, Adeline appeared statuesque, her cobalt cape relaxed upon her shoulders and swayed by those who passed by.

He had settled within his thoughts, accompanied by a stillness and lack of interest, an appearance best described as daze by some. There was a sense in him that he wanted to escape the moment, but there was an understanding that he was to be following the angel before him... But that sort of joy, a song that ringed in mockery. He looked upon the doves nearby... Well, maybe he by technicality had something to consider as for wings... However, as if he was to claim those as his own, he didn't have the heart to do. Casting his eyes aside at the childish chuckle, Valentine couldn't bear saying a word to it. It was if he was ashamed of being merely human, and perhaps he should be in a world touched by angels and demons. How he yearned to be an angel... and yet to be blessed, though tempting it was to be a demon, or cursed at best. Fate insisted otherwise; there was a feeling that he was to remain pure from either forms. Though perhaps then he is like an angel, untouched by holy or tainted aura... There was no one to believe that though. Angels were purity, and humans were beloved creations or filth consuming the surface...

His daytime was not to be wasted on nightly thoughts. As a sun is bright about the day, he too had to seek the benefits of being human, though it only comes down to being different, untouched, and by considering that he's pure human, talented. He was not born with a tongue blessed by an angel or a tempting charisma, seductive like a demon's. However, he was taught, and he took pride in such, though perhaps he had a voice that seemed to be blessed while his abilities to tempt may vary. A small smirk appeared at the thought of it. It was humorous to think of, but he'd like to think that above all and none of the less he held all capabilities to charm a lady of the means. Looking upon the dove near his side, the dove perched his shoulder as he laughed lightly, as if he was amused in his own thoughts. In his own thoughts, yes, but far from amused.

"We... we..." He mumbled this to himself for the two reasons: what "we" was the angel speaking, though this came back to in a moment's time later thanks to memorized rumors, and to sound like he was about to speak. It was nice to turn a head or two at the start of a word as opposed to catching an audience's attention half-way through a speech. As he spoke, he allowed the angel to wrap around him, fancying his pride with a prismatic beauty by side. Lady or gentleman, neither matter when it came to beauty, especially to an angel's with such a song-filled voice and colorful aura... He enjoyed their aura, even if they rubbed his wound with their previous comment. Surely, it was out of innocence, but even if not, he would rather keep his interior battles within his walls.

"Yes, we shall, for it is my honor to be called for this duty." Valentine wasn't too surprised about it, but he was joyous, and a delicate smile could only seal so much joy in recognition. He was partially used to be called in to speak or another or to fix the mistakes of a speaker, but to be called in by the queen and join the path of making history... It was truly a dream. Partially pressuring though, considering where the Kingdom of Raphael stood in the eyes of the other kingdoms and how one mistake will turn the tables around. Realizing this had caused him to breath in steadily while yet shaken by the thought. Everything was going to remain stable, safe, and sound. The meeting will go smoothly. The meeting will go according to a peaceful plan... Or so he hoped for. He looked upon the angel with a smile, and keeping them near, he gently spoke.

"Guide me with your grace, lively..." Valentine paused with an empty breath. "Oh, if I am able to know, please, tell me your name as you walk with me?" His shoulders rolled into being relaxed, posture straight as his sword remained sheathed by his right side. In that moment, there was a sense that he had returned to his charming self, with a sense of elegance and composed with a structure fit for a gentleman. Truly, this was him, suffocating the rest of his flaws under his skin.
