Okay, now I'm having this problem.

Those are just a few of the themes I have in mind for this Roleplay. Now, for some opening narration.

Within everybody's minds, exists a gateway, a portal to an alternate universe comprised entirely of the creations of the human subconscious. Inside this alternate dimension, human emotions and thoughts are interpreted and made real. All sorts of creatures inhabit it, some docile, some murderous, some friendly, some wanting to be left alone.

Normally, this alternate world, the Plane of Minds, doesn't interact with reality in any way. Nobody knows about it, not even the so called "occultists" of earth realize it's existence, much less the power they could acquire from it. But it is beginning to overflow, dark creatures are outnumbering everything else, and sometimes, things from the Plane of Mind start to influencing the creators, humanity, on our mundane Earth.

One night, a group of people discover doors within their dreams, doors that should not be there. Through the door is a portal to a representation of that individuals subconscious, and from there, they would be able to access the plane itself. But it's dangerous to go alone, you should check out your subconscious first, you may find something that will help you on your quest...

Within everybody's subconscious is a special item, this item allows access to the full power of the wielders imagination while in the Plane of Mind, primarily through shifting into a form that represents the wielder's deepest nature. But also any number of things, it's powered by imagination after all.

Once the Plane has been entered, the barriers between it and Earth will start to break down, Demons will start consuming humans, and it's the responsibility of those who broke the wall to patch things up. Luckily, when the worlds start to combine, the powers of Imagination wielders will work on Earth.

This RP is inspired by numerous things, Digimon and Shin Megami Tensei may be the biggest two, but there are tons of others. I sort of tried a similar thing on the oldguild but it fell apart pretty quick due to reasons... I'd be looking for at least five people to start, but would also be willing to let people join at any time, this is not a very sandboxy RP though, there will be objectives to complete. Otherwise, go wild!

Keep power at a reasonable level relative to everybody else in the Roleplay.

During The Game, everybody is a ghost. Inhabiting a parallel dimension known as the UnderGround, or UG. UG dwellers can see everything in the RealGround, or RG, but are unable to interact with them. Be seen or heard. Within the UG are the other Players, the Noise, and the Reapers.

Players are basically ghosts, For the most part young people who died in an accident. Players are thrown into the Game without their consent and must give up an Entry Fee, the Fee is whatever the Player cared about the most, and the Fee is returned upon Victory in the game. Players in the UG are powerless without forming a Pact. A pact is between any two players and allows them both to use their psych abilities as well as offering them protection from the Noise. Unpacted players are hunted ruthlessly by the Noise. Every day of the Game has a mission, issued through text message, that must be completed by the Players or their souls will be erased permanently.

Noise is two things, it is both the underlying Psychic static that forms around large groups of people, and it is the number one predator of the UG. Noise hunt down UG inhabitants to consume and add to their strength. Noise are mindless, but threatening, they can only be harmed by Psych abilities channeled through Pins, Reapers often sic noise upon players as a challenge, as well as part of Missions from time to time.

Reapers are the guardians of the UG, and come in numerous varieties. Some are gatekeepers, restricting the movement of UG inhabitants. Some assault players, some run special errands for the higher ups, and a select few run the whole operation. Those few you need to know about are The Producer, The Conductor, and The Game Master. The Producer will appear on Day one of the game to lay things out for the players, The Conductor works behind the scenes, choosing new GMs and overall running the game from week to week. the GM his or herself issues missions and provides orders to lower Reapers, and changes from week to week.
