You are correct, Soul. At least, I think so. I just found this somewhere on DA and I freaking loved it. The Mewtwo that used to be my avatar was also made by the same person. I could go find whoever made it, if you're curious.

Anyways your CS is missing something. I'd take another look at the rules on the first post. Can't go easy on the critiquing just because I already know you're good at rping...

Everything else is good about it, but bear in mind that Lumen will need to keep it a secret that she's already a trainer. This event is supposed to be for new trainers only, but Willow isn't doing any serious background checks on anyone, so Lumen really only needs to keep quiet about it and she's good. Or you could do a whole different character. Your choice, really.
I REEEALLY hope Crank returns. She and I had something planned that was totes cool beans.
13sparx13 said Also, rain is awesome. Don't know what's wrong with you.

Seattle. That's what.
Bah, rain rain rain.

Anyways, Pokemon will be capable of learning more moves as time goes on, but the moves will require practice to hone. TMs exist, but they're scarce and hard to come by. They basically take about a half an hour to teach a pokemon, whereas just training them will take a fair bit longer. Your pokemon will likely show signs of being able to learn the move when they're able to, so that's how your character will know. For instance, if a pokemon is ready to learn ember, they'll start breathing tiny amounts of fire. Something like iron tail, they might whack something with their tail. From there, the trainer will have their pokemon practice until the move can be used in battle. I will send PMs or post in the ooc when a pokemon is ready to learn a move, I leave it up to you to do the training and whatnot.
Oh, thanks, Crimson.

As for leveling, the pokemon won't have levels, exactly. When the journey starts, I'll be PMing everyone what moves their pokemon have, and will also PM them when their Pokemon is ready to evolve. Moves I'll explain in a bit, because my dog is begging for a walk right now. BRB
The trainers got off a boat called the S.S. Bolt, and then gathered in front of a timid scientist, who gave them a rather lame tour of the corinthian style architectured city. He also pointed out a plaza with a fountain where they could get supplies. They then arrived at a rather featureless lab where the professor greeted them, went to grab the pokeballs, came back, and had everyone line up. Now they're getting their pokemon

That's the short version.
Ohai Soul! Yeah, we're still accepting for a little bit longer (says the guy who said the same thing like five pages ago), You will have a bit of catching up to do, though, so bear that in mind.
Andre's interaction with Sigur...

That was pure awesome.
Don't know if you're reading this, but this sounds like a virus to me.
