"Okay, mommy. I'm off to school!" Cecelia called out as she reached the front door. Her mom called back "Dear, it's chilly out, so remember your jacket. I washed it last night!" Cecelia sighed "I know that mommy, I was outside yesterday! OH! Gotta hurry or I'll miss the bus. Love you! Bye!" Grabbing her bunny jacket she has for several years (and having to buy a new one, since her original one was super tight and wouldn't fit any more), Cecelia ran for her bus stop, making it just in time to get on.

It was stragely empty today. I guess there weren't many special kids that ride my bus. This sucks. Same bus driver though, but he's creepy. All my friends are still normal... Cecelia rode the bus in silence, reaching in her messanger bag for her mask, the awesome transformation of the mask from right to left was a symbol of her powers to turn things into other thing she's seen. She pulls Fluffy from her bag and hugs him tight to her chest. "It's gonna be alright, Fluffy. We'll make it through this together," Cecelia mutters as she turns her body side to side.

Once the bus arrives, Cecelia, back in her happy mood, skips off the bus and into the halls towards the lockers. Once there, she sees a boy who is also here. "Hi there. How was your break?" Cecelia asked, not even remembering if she had met this boy before. After picking up her books, she notices a girl writing in a notepad. She walks over and looks at the girl. Trying not to be too loud, she says "Hi there, I'm cecelia. I don't think I've met you. What's your name? By the way, you have really pretty hair." Cecelia smiles.
No need.

That made my day
I don't know about anyone else, but I personally would say wait another day and just move the story forward until N gets back. I wouldn't say "[take] control of the rp completely" @Snarl but after a day, I'd say feel free to start moving some plot. I think everyone that's going to post has had plenty of time for an intro post.
The Story

You are a hardworking guild member (or leader), and you live in the Guild District in the town of Riventown, trading capital of the continent. It has a nice port with the many merchant Guilds that set up shop to buy and sell with those docking at the Aerodome. There are a few mischievous Guilds planning to steal some of the cargo, with a few security Guilds patroling the Aerodome in an attempt to ward off said bandits. Riventown is also a half day's walk from two other cities that you don't go to, so you can't think of their names. Someone in your Guild mentioned them the other day... Oh, forget it, but they are out there. There's a small mountainous region in the south tip of Riventown, with a mountain range that continues all the way to the southern tip of the continent.

One day, you are going about your Guild's business, when a very large, black cloud starts hovering in the distance. Doesn't seem too odd until it expands, growing larger by the second until every inch of sky you can see is covered by this dark cloud. You run back to the guild to confirm that everyone else saw this happen, and try to figure out what's going on when, all of a sudden, This large, raven-like creature swoops down below the clouds, landing in the middle of the Guild District of town. Someone says the exact opposite of what you're thinking: "Psh, we can take that." Your guild leader doesn't agree or disagree, but quickly, quietly, and solomnly leads a battle party out to the Raven.

Who will you be? The leader that knows what's happening and leading his troops, the cocky kid who is in the front of the pack waiting for action, or will you be left in the Guild House until they return because you're not really a fighter, but a negotiator? The story will be starting in Tactics Advanced (2) fashion: thrown into combat.

The Rules

- Please be kind to everyone in the OOC, and show respect.
- Don't godmod, play anyone else's character in major ways, derail too hard, flame, bash, etc.
- Please try to tell me if you won't be able to play for a long time, so we can figure something out. In that spirit, I'll probably ask for a co-GM in case stuff keeps me away for a while.
- Please choose your class(es) from here: http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_Final_Fantasy_Tactics_A2:_Grimoire_of_the_Rift_Jobs

Guild Roles:

Leader - Leads, gives assignments, does paperwork, accepts/declines jobs, chooses who can join, etc.
Duelist - Top pick for 1v1 skirmishes. Descent, but not excellent, in a skirmish.
Tracker - Effective at hunting down and killing monsters. Usually goes on monster hunting quests.
Gatherer - Very perceptive and is first to be sent on missions focused on collecting or retrieving items.
Healer - Your main job is healing and/or buffing your allies. Always advised to have at least one in a skirmish party.
Tank - Tough-skinned individuals with high power who are best for defending a position. Typically sent on escort missions.
Ranger - Excellent at ranged battle, picking and debilitating enemies from long distances, but a bad idea to get in their faces.
Sorcerer - Mage tank, throwing out heavy hitting offensive spells and taking spells like they're a level 1 magic missile.
Debilitator - Your job is to inflict statuses on your opponents, making it harder for them to fight.
Sneaker - A rogue-ish character who avoids a lot of hits, and deals moderate damage, usually having a way of going invisible.
Diplomat - You're a talker who goes and negotiate with other clans and merchants. Also keeps track of Guild money, reporting directly to the Guild Leader.
Diversionary - Just a distraction. Lookie over here, everyone!
Captain - leader of a skirmish party. Guild Leader hands you jobs that your party is assigned and you lead the troops.

Accidentally posted this in Chars tab before I was told to put it here, but it is finished (unless there's something I need to change)

For anyone wondering, the mark on the hand looks like this:
Well, the weight didn't come into play, but statistically, an overhead chop from a sword would take the longest to recover from, if that's what you're referring to. If it's because I called her young, that also has nothing to do with her handling the sword. To Brennen, if he sees someone with a weapon, he automatically assumes that it's their own weapon and they can properly use it. Especially here at the palace, where people are coming to essentially fight monsters.
No problems. I didn't assume anything about that other than you had stuff going on. Glad you're feeling better!
Alright, I'll edit those things in the bio.

EDIT: Fixed it!

Sex: Female
Age: 20
Appearance:

Bio: Cecelia is a traceur (which is a person who practices parkour) and thought to test this game's bounds when it came out. She beta tested, but only stayed in the main town on Floor 1 (in the beta) seeing how far and high her parkour could take her in the game. She died a few times misjudging jumps and finding some non-solid ledges, but had fun. When she was told about the virtual-deaths-are-real thing, she took no time in getting as far away from "Town 1" as she called it. She then would float from raid team to raid team, never staying with a guild or team after the goal she was going for was accomplished. When not in a team, since she wasn't really a fighter, she would sneak around, killing some of the smaller creatures with a single stealthy blow to get some more XP and/or small quests, or hired herself out to those that wanted things. She could usually slip past most monsters and grab it. Sometimes sneaking past people to steal. She would just wait for her icon to go green again before doing any more thefts.
She met a member of the Lock-Heart guild around floor 24 when she had a quest to steal a very rare artifact on Floor 24. When she got to the Locked-Heart (though she didn't know the name at the time), she noticed that she'd been followed. She quicky dove for the item, but was snared. She was then interrogated on what she knew about the item she had almost obtained. After proving her lack of knowledge, the man claimed to be part of a guild "that searches all across the levels for these these", not saying what "they" were, but the man was impressed by her ability to get past the traps and enemies. He offered her a place in the guild, though she couldn't have the item she almost had. Thinking it would be a short-lived thing, she agreed. After learning about these Locked-Hearts, she realized that they might try to kill her if she left, but she didn't want to leave now anyways, because these could do incredible things.
