@Snarl I can help if you need. I'm on almost every day :)
@Primal Conundrum Here in the OOC if you would please.
OOC is here.
To the east there is the Kroven Dynasty, and to the west, the Lorean Empire. For a long time, the two nations - the two greatest and largest in the world - were actually wonderful allies. That hasn't lasted to this point. Lately, abundances of resources have turned up in the Driahn Peaks in the frigid southern lands. Very rare, very valuable resources. Rare creatures to hunt, rare minerals to mine, and of course, plenty of untamed space to occupy. Guess who the top two contenders who want these things are?

The respective rulers of the Kroven Dynasty and Lorean Empire - King Maral Kroven and Emperor Marcus Lorea - have tried to compromise with one another on the matter of the Driahn Peaks and the invaluable resources within, but all attempts so far have fallen short of successful. Tensions and hostilities have increased in the months since, and the two reigning superpowers of the world are now on the verge of war with one another. All the while, the many smaller kingdoms between the two prepare themselves to either ally with whoever lives closer in case a war starts, or sneak into the Peaks themselves and take the resources for themselves amidst the tensions.

The scape and scope of the land is nothing to scoff at; it's a big world out there. The large ocean surrounding the one major landmass and several large islands is abundant with food in the form of fish, and the many lands and sights between the freezing Driahn Peaks in the south and the abandoned Isle of Graves in the north all have their own cultures, stories, and problems as well. The world of Aephere is a big place, enough so that only one who devoted their entire life to exploring and seeing it all would ever be able to hope to see it all. And then there's you.

Wherever you're from, you've found yourself in a currently-neutral small island kingdom resting on a landlocked sea known as Sothia. Sothia is a small port town surrounded by water supplied by a channel running south from the northernmost centre point of land. This town is the port city to be at. Sothia is the centermost point on the continent, and is equally far from the Kroven Dynasty as from the Lorean Empire. Whether you travel east or west, to help or harm the kingdom you approach, there will be many choices to be made. Some may be better than others.

You stand in Sothia, going about your daily life you've created since you've arrived. The civil unrest is creating tension that is thick enough to slice with a knife. Some of the fair people in your now-hometown are siding with the Kroven Dynasty, yet others choose the Lorean Empire. You need to choose a side, or to abstain from siding with either. It's all your choice.

Maggie awoke with confusion and a pounding head Gah, why can't I just stop doing that? Now I know what to av- she stopped mid thought when she noticed the furry face above her. "Oh! I- uh- I must not have- uh... had water recently! That's why I passed out. Yeah. I'm very sorry for troubling you. Thank you." Maggie smiled genuinely for the first time she could remember. Well, she can't be all that bad if she's so helpful and kind. She gets up slowly, still slightly shaky, but stable enough to stand still. Taking a step in the direction she had been trying to travel, she collapses to a kneeling position. "Oof. Why aren't my legs doing as well? Hm... Maybe I can teleport."
And with that, she closed her eyes and opened thim in the same spot. "Hmmm... Something's keeping me from teleporting. Well, shoot." With a grunt of effort, she stands back up, a little less stable, but still able to stand. Maggie snaps her head to the cat-lady's spot and gasps "You need to go to school. You're already really late 'cause of me. You should go. I'll rest here until I can walk well enough to make it home. Really, thank you for helping me." A goofy grin forces itself upon Maggie's face.

Sorry about taking so long to post, school work and job-work have been hectic. Just now had the time to sit down and type.
@SilverWolfAngel
OOC, I have no problem with that. Maggie might, at first, but I think it's a better idea to have someone with her. And I love that phrasing "I'm gonna go find the glue bottle"

Photina was awestruck. "Miss, was that all really necessary? Destroying all summoned and wild creatures about you as such is dangerous with allies." Her tone was not harsh, nor angry. She was more curious than anything. What gain does this dragoness gain by taking out allied creatures as well as foes? Does she mean well to us, or should we take cover from her? Photina stayed calm and polite, but readied a blocking spell if needed.

She noticed that another planeswalker had been using lightning that hit two of the creatures. Of course, this was before the dragoness killed most every creature anywhere near her. That was a pretty impressive spell. Photina couldn't help but compliment the lass' skill. A little reckless, though. Had Photina had warning of the lass' attempts, she could have protected the lass with a shield of some sort. Oh, well. Nothing can be done now.
in case Veltis wants to speak in private.

Maggie turned and blinked at the cat-like girl. She put on her best fake smile and nodded. "Mm-hmm. Just seems to be some really bad migraines. It must be my time of the month, heh." Ending her response with a slightly nervous chuckle, she added "I should get going home to get my feminine products. Thank you for your concern, though."
Maggie turned to leave so she could just continue walking until this cat-person-girl was out of sight. She walked a little faster than she was before, fidgeting with her skirt and underwear to make it look as though it needs to be adjusted. Then, as if her thoughts could control others, she thought Please don't follow, please don't follow, please don't follow... repeatedly.
I just want to go ho- she realized that her ruse of having a home to go to made her believe it. I just wanna get things back to how they were... However they were before. That was enough to set it off again, but this time, it had less warning, since Maggie wasn't in deep thought. She yelped in pain and started shaking like a leaf. Maggie fought the pain to keep herself standing, but could do nothing else. As usual, which is a bitch of a 'usual', some blood leaked. This time, it was her nose. A few tears streamed down her face from the pain welling up inside her. I will not fall. I will not black out. I will not fall. I will not... black... out... Maggie's legs start to give and she puts her hand out to try and catch herself, doubting her arm has enough muscle strength at the moment to stop anything.
