Well, as long as he's close to them at least. It'd be a bit overpowered if he could use all of their abilities anytime he wanted. Also limiting his ability to close range only would mean he'd have to weight up the tactical concerns of the operation, adding his support to whichever team member required it the most in order for the mission to succeed.

Also it would leave him vulnerable if he were caught by himself, hopefully encouraging him to keep the team together and coherent to prevent leaving himself exposed.

Very true. Or maybe just different tools for him to effectively lead, like infrared target markers, methods of marking specific enemies without using words.

If you're still having problems with his abilities, why not give him a Mimicry system? This would allow him to scan and copy the functions of any other suit in close proximity, but would not be as effective as the original version. That way he could switch between different roles on the fly, rather than having a piece of equipment which does everything.

His 'jack-of-all-trades' training would come into play then as he would be able to make use of any of the different suit upgrades without too much additional experience being required.

That is an amazing idea. A leader that can do anything his team can
Murcreh, please do your specializations. I wanna start. So much anticipation

I'm waiting, cause I posted directly before you. And don't have anything more to post about until something happens

Also, there's finals approaching and people be studying.
@SimplyJohn That's great, in theory. The hard part would be getting him out of his room when there's down time. He's typically playing some strategy game (winning about 87% of the time) or reading up on an interesting topic (usually involving stealth, survival, or strategy). Occasionally fiddling with gadgets that may be useful. He's not good with electronics, though, so almost all of them fail. It's a pass time though. If he's getting alcohol, it's gonna be something from a convenience store or super market and drinks it on the way back (not driving, though). Again, his brain is stuck in logic mode.
@SimplyJohn All very true. Although, she'd probably have to try a little for Seth's interest. He's the epidemy of introversion. Barely talks unless spoken to. Except during missions where he's forced to communicate. Some of his old squad mates thought he was mute.
@SimplyJohn Lol, yeah. I like how she's the only girl and lesbian. XD
Sexual tension will probably be had in the down time that she won't relieve.
@SimplyJohn Fair enough. Still an interesting perspective. Well, we have a flanker, a sniper, one heavy, and our fearless leader. Having someone being a padded target wouldn't be too bad. I can't accept your CS, but I like the character dynamic. It's a lot different than the rest.
@SimplyJohn Hopefully. We're supposed to be a well-oiled super-tactical machine. Someone runnin and gunnin probably ain't gonna fly
