I think K-9 might be Meg the demon because Shy said 'Since when do you want to help anyone?' And hunters would be naturally wary of a demon, and her response was 'Oh Shy I'm insulted right now.' Now either she is being sarcastic and doesn't care somebody judging her for some reason or she is generally insulted that somebody is judging her. Now if she is Meg it would make sense she is being sarcastic and doesn't care if a hunter is judging her because she is a demon, as she would be used to it and if she is being genuine it could also make sense considering Meg goes out her way to help people since she joined the hunters and might not like the fact of being racist and judging based on the fact she is a demon. Obviously it's just started but it's an idea.

Personality: Nightmare as you may guess can be a bit of a nightmare for many. He isn't exactly the friendly type. In fact, he is stubborn and mean. He only cares for himself and loves to frighten others. He has no respect for anyone other than himself. He shows no mercy, even to those who are pregnant. He cares not if they were to give birth that day, if he can kill it, he will without mercy. He hates being controlled, and so, prefers to be a leader. So, he can be a bit of an asshole.

History: Nightmare has a bad history with humans, he doesn't get along well at all. They were always trying to control him. Luckily, the stupid humans made a mistake one day, of letting a newbie handle him. As soon as he did, he flew off and quickly escaped. He didn't cared what happened to the humans. He would rather them dead. He has no personal attachments really, the only personal attachment is the one he can't get of his leg, so, it literally is, an attachment.
