@The Spectre I fail to see how that is any different. You just described all the things people do with their racist "jokes." Sounds pretty hypocritical to me.

Isaiah nodded to the woman politely and waved softly at the child before walking away from the hut. Instinctively he made sure to stay close to the princess to deter any would be attackers, even though he was off duty. "You were very good with the child milady. I look forward to the day when I see you with a family of your own."
Isaiah gave a small smile as he studied the babe. "Aye a strong name. He'll grow up to be just strong as his father I'd say." Isaiah reached to inspect the baby further and was surprised he took a hold of his finger before cooing softly even battle-hardened Isaiah couldn't deny the moment try as he might. H epulled his figer free of the baby's grip quickly before he did anything embarrassing and gave a sheepish laugh. "He is a grand child isn't he?"

Isaiah was moved watching Lorelei with the baby, finally seeming to find something that brought her joy. Isaiah had never thought about having children of his own, and with his occupation it would never happen anyway. He was a knight sworn to protect the royal family and he would keep his vigil till his dying day, but because of that there would be no time for him to find love in this life, his unreciprocated feelings for his queen had proved that. The family he protected would have to be enough.
I agree with Czech that zombies should be the focus of pestilence, since it would make a perfect disease for the scenario, so that's where I'm throwing m vote.. That being said it could also work for death (The rising from the grave kind) if the contagion idea wins out.

I have a suggestion for the Death finale. The reason why I brought up the different characters for each scenario was mainly because I thought the idea would work better that way, but with a few tweaks I think it could work. The idea is that basically after the Famine scenario(that is if we're doing he horsemen in the order they emerged from the seal if not than whatever the one was before death.) the characters discover that they A) all died at the end of the previous scenario or B) Find out they've been dead the whole time and that maybe the previous scenario's were a test from the horsemen to prove humanity's worth or something. After figuring this out the last scenario is them escaping Hell/or the Underworld perhaps while being chased by demons, deceased souls, or Death himself.

I also have a small suggestion for famine as well, Maybe an unnatural massive swarm of locust? They are usual the personification of famine after all.

These are just suggestions. I'll tough out through whatever we end up doing.. We've got a bit of time to work this out after all.
Jeremiah slung his bag over his shoulder as he stepped out of his jeep and headed into the school. He rolled his eyes at how gung-ho the principles was for the whole challenges thing. He didn't have the same enthusiasm for them as most of the others did especially the guys sense of superiority since this was his first year at the school. hold any particularly strong feelings for them himself, if they asked him to participate he would but if they didn't he wouldn't really care. He checked his schedule again and groaned in annoyance as he realized he had his second most hated class ever first thing in the morning. His seemingly permanent scowl grew deeper as he trudged off to Science.
"I'll return soon princess." Isaiah bowed to the woman and smiled at the baby. "Good morning madame." He walked into the hut. "Good morning." The blacksmith, a large and well built bald man, grunted in response and lifted up a heavily damaged chestplate.

"What is this?" He said with a look as if he wanted to throw his hammer right through Isaiah's head. "I have been forging for the royal family since the old king's coronation, I forged them well and strong and yet I have never seen anything like this! How are you even alive right now, wearing this like this?!

"Did I mention I need a sword too? Preferable one forged of something that can negate magic" Isaiah examined the numerous other blades and weapons that adorned the smith's walls. "I'll need my armor forged of something more durable than your usual steel and..." He looked at the man with a very serious expression. "I need it done soon. I can't protect the royal family efficiently with one blade, and can't protect them at all if I die because I lack armor."

The blacksmith's frown grew deeper as he stared at the knight in question before he threw the chestplate to the ground and continued hammering on his current project. "A lesser blacksmith wouldn't be able to this and not in the time you're asking." Without looking up. "This is going to cost you a lot." Isaiah nodded and placed a large pouch on a nearby table. You know who I serve, I'm good for the order." The man nodded and continued about his work. "The princess' birthday is in a week correct? Isaiah nodded. "Then that is when you shall have them."

"Thank you sir." Isaiah nodded, bowed and stepped outside.
Isaiah smiled with the princess. "The child has calmed his temper a bit, which is good for me because he won't be happy with m the condition I left my armor in." He thought of the situation and couldn't help but find it amusing. "Ruined armor and a sword in the moat. I'd rather say I'm an awful knight milady."
Isaiah looked up as he started to think about what to do first. "Well I had asked one of the servants to deliver my armor to the blacksmith before I left. Hopefully it will have arrived by now so we should perhaps head there first.." He said while he walked. A small part of him was amused by the queen's reaction but he wouldn't dare show it, he had shamed himself enough for one day. "Is there anything you require while we are in town milady?"
Isaiah nodded and walked away from the Queen briskly and kept up the facade of the dutiful and stoic knight until he was sure she was out of site. When he couldn't see her anymore he relaxed and breathed a sigh of relief. "Well that was unpleasant." He said with a small laugh as he looked to the princess. "But judging by the fact that my heart didn't explode in my chest, I think we came out alright."
"I wouldn't go that far milady. Most of my decisions are made in the heat of the moment." Isaiah said with his eyes shut to stop his himself from laughing. He had even forgotten why he was upset in the first place. She had always seemed to have that effect on him , ever since they were children. When he felt her hand flick one of his dreads, he opened his eyes in surprise and stared down at her so he could respond but couldn't as soon as his eyes locked with hers. She had the kindest eyes he had ever seen and he could see the pain behind them,as if it wanted to be found. She was the bastard daughter of a king, constantly isolated thanks to the politics of the throne, and yet she had always been his inspiration the one who kept him going through training and reminded him what he fought for every time she smiled. He wanted to fall before her, and beg forgiveness at how he had never been there for her as she had for him, instead he whispered as he looked into her eyes. "Yes milady, the most foolish."

Before he could say anything else the Queen arrived looking less than pleased and he tried to calm his nerves before he talked to her all his forgotten fears rushing back. "Forgive me my Queen I was on my way to find you when I saw the princess practicing here and lost track of time." He bowed returning to the stoic visage o his knight self. " I wanted to tell you that I couldn't train you today. I have many things I must get done today and with my shoulder the way it is I feel we would have better luck on a later day. And.." He turned to face the princess again. "The princess and I were just about to leave, that is if offer to join me still stands?"
