Skinwalkers

In the near future mankind has been driven to near extinction. Through the impact of a massive asteroid, humanity's reign over planet came to a screeching halt.From the ashes of human civilization The creatures of the supernatural have come to take their place. One of the various species are the Yee Naaldlooshii or Skinwalkers, beings who switch between the guise of humans and animal at will. The Skinwalkers find themselves isolated between the two categories and a lone pack o struggle to survive in this new world and find a place to call their own.

I apologize for the very lazy attempt at a backstory, the one I had written unfortunately didn't save right so here we are.
Additional Info
Skinwalker's animal forms are larger than a normal version of the animal they change into. This is more to justify how they can take on other creatures.

Amren was panting as well after the exhausting battle. "Never a dull hour hour is it?" He pocketed his evoker and stopping to regain his breath. "Anyone know why were they're so many of them out here tonight?"

Amren walked down to the lounge casually. "Hey all what's up!" As he was downstairs he could hear the battle with the shadows outside was raging on. Without a second thought pulled out his evoker and as soon as he was out the door he placed it to his head and pulled the trigger. "Fenrir!" A large, and fierce looking white wolf appeared from behind and let loose a thundering howl. "Cleave em in half Fenrir!' Fenrir jumped in to battle tearing into shadows with his claws whilst Amren put on a clawed gauntlet on his right arm and followed suit.

Amren had been on been practicing on the roof before the Dark Hour even began. He let loose two quick jabs into the air, following it with a swift high kick before returning back to his neutral stance. Keeping his stance he looked up at the now green sky. "Such a shame, they're were such beautiful stars tonight..." he sighed letting off a few more punches again. Now that the Dark Hour was upon them he needed to meet up with the others and he was very curious about the new guy Marcus had mentioned on the radio. He patted the evoker at his side, but knew that he wouldn't be able to summon Fenrir in the building because of his size and figured a giant wolf might be too much to handle for someone experiencing the dark hour for the first time. He grinned as he grabbed his bag off the ground before heading inside.

The pack is a bunch of different Skinwalkers that have banded together and they all change into different individual animals. I'll come up with a more concrete plot when I make the ooc, but I am glad that people are showing interest.
