The tech-priest was silent and continued her work so Adrian simply turned away and saw the proctor and ogryn moving away. So far that ogryn has been the friendliest thing on this rock oh well I guess I should go find out about the status of our group Adrian thought. Moving back inside the craft he found the man the one the proctor had called Ray. "hey there need help with anything?" he asked informally well aware of the risk involved in being so informal.

PATHFINDER (the salvation of Arkadia)

Welcome heroes to the land of Arkadia. This was once a luscious and beautiful land full of mighty warriors and powerful mages. The culture was diverse and nature flourished. In all nations the economy was working t its best and there was a golden age in science, magic, and religion. Unfortunately things of beauty rarely last and those of great beauty attract even greater evil. A dark scourge fell upon the land as a demon lord arose from the ether of hell to unleash his hellish plane upon the world. This creature which came to be known only as the dark one unleashed his army of hellspawn upon the world and they ravaged towns and slew the innocent as they pleased. Death and chaos were rampant and this evil attracted the outcasts and scum from every corner of Arkadia to join in the fray. As the land was destroyed thundering clouds spread across the sky and droplets of warm blood rained down upon the land. Next the dark one arose his dark palace from hell a mighty castle made of bricks as black as the creatures soul. As a last effort all of the free peoples of Arkadia sent their mightiest champions and their armies and were united under one banner. The heroes met the dark ones armies upon the field of battle and fought with the valor and skill of the gods themselves. But though they fought until their limbs were heavy and they slew ten of the dark ones for every one of them that fell they were not to prevail. As more and more heroes fell demons continued to flow from the portal in a never-ending tide of darkness. As their numbers dwindled and all hope seemed loss the heroes offered their very essence to the mightiest among the Ezerok the wizard so that he may end this. giving his own essence as well Ezerok cast one last spell and uttered his last invocation to bind the dark one to the throne room of his own dark castle. and then he and the last of the heroes faded away. Though this halted its spread the damage that had been done and the darkness over the land that had already been taken remained.

this is where you come in mighty adventurers this is a tale of heroes young and old who take back the land of Arkadia!

The day was bright but that didn't help his mood. Adrian walked through the streets of the city with a dark shadow hanging over his eyes, he was angry and depressed over his inability to find the one he was searching for. walking through the street he saw parties of people who would be hunting together and it annoyed him more than anything else. Adrian stalks out of the town leaving the gate behind him and continues out into the field. a dire wolf rushed through the grass but enemies of this magnitude were nothing to him anymore and he simply kicked the wolf away. He knew where he was going and soon he had found it the entrance to the dungeon he had checked everywhere else he could so his only guess is that she was stuck somewhere inside and he was going to tear down every brick until he found her.

taking one last look at the sunlight and the fields of green he sighed drew his sword and walked into the dungeon. As he walked he came upon an enemy that actually had weapons and armor.....this was inevitably going to be stronger. Adrian drew the knife from the folds of his kimono then reared back and threw it at the beast as hard as he could.

the blade bounced off the things armor with a metallic ring and Adrian scowled. figures nothing can ever be easy his scowl deepened as he got into a guard stance. the creature rushed him with a polearm of some sort and Adrian sidestepped and parried it with his katana. Next the creature arced the weapon in a circular motion and spun using whirlwind. Adrian turned as he jumped using acrobatics as he leaped over the weapon and pivoted in mid air. Now he was behind the creature and he used avalanche to bring down his blade upon the creatures head this had much more effect than the knife and made the thing stumble as it attempted to turn swinging the halberd in its hand as it did cutting in an arc. rolling under the strike Adrian was back to back with the creature and activated back rush as he thrust the sword behind him this pierced the creature making it roar as it moved away and readied itself. So that's what its weakness is...piercing......very wel then now to aim the one strike I need as he thought this Adrian ran at the creature and leapt into the air coming down on the creature with his feet and pinning it to the ground raising his sword above his head he activated tsujikaze and brought the point of his blade down through creatures head as it exploded in a shower of data he smirked. "so that's how it is" he said sheathing his blade he picked up his knife again and hid it in the folds of his katana. "im going to find you" he muttered as he continued into the dungeon.

Finally breaking his salute Adrian turned to the ogryn and stared up at the large creature. Adrian was by no means small but this creature was massive albeit it did seem friendly and that was a good thing. Adrian replied to the creature "greetings to you as well". surveying the people that had survived the crash he noticed a fellow guardsman well technically guardswoman. She appeared to be the all to uptight generic trooper probably from an extremely strict regiment. Next he took noticed a man in a storm coat vomiting this was presumably the one who had asked if anyone else had made it. The man was throwing up not that Adrian blamed him that had been a rough landing he was in total surprised they had all survived.
The next thing Adrian heard was a mans voice through a respirator on his comms. FInally he noticed the techpriest or what he assumed was a techpriest moving away from the group. what's a techpriest doing here? who knows this is something of a ragtag group but this could be great maybe she can fix my blade. thought Adrian as he started running after the woman. Adrian stopped a few meters behind her and asked in a professional voice " excuse me ma'am are you a techpriest?".

Sergeant Adrian Cade stood atop the escape pod with rifle in hand. looking around surveying their position and then he turned to the group of people he had landed with. a commissar.....I don't think ive met this one but still no less daunting of a person and im sure as merciless as most. and some man in the cockpit asking if anyone was alive.next Adrian does a quick check of his own gear and his health condition. he had been one of the last few into the pod just before the commissar and had strapped in before landing but his shoulder had still taken a nasty impact on delivery. Aside from this his rifle seemed in working order thank god something is going right and he had his satchel charge strapped neatly into his belt as it usually was. he had lost his fragmentation grenades and the blade of his combat knife had snapped after his shoulder had hit the wall.It would be easy enough for me to slip off but my best chance of survival is to stay with these people also it is my duty to fight beside the lord commissar. Dropping down Adrian slung his rifle over his back and saluted in front of the commissar " alive and well ma'am sergeant Adrian Cade of the KRONUS 1st reporting in and at your service"

......im alive Adrian was regaining consciousness after the grueling experience last night I am alive and I need to move. Adrian slowly opened his eyes and pushed himself up to a kneeling position glancing at his hp bar he noticed it was drastically in the red and all of the previous night came rushing back to him.I guess all of that really did happen I almost died and I still haven't found her slowly Adrian stood and stumbled to the counter where he purchased a health crystal and used it. energy surged through him as his broken body mended itself and he flexed his muscles to get rid of the stiffness wow....this is amazing I feel completely fine now where I was on the verge of death before.he opened his inventory to check the loot drop from last night looking from the entire day yesterday he had about 6900 col and he had in his inventory two straight swords a small dagger which he quickly equipped as a backup weapon hidden amongst the folds of his kimono and some small ovule. nodding to himself Adrian bought two more health crystals and a teleportation crystal for around 400 col and then moved in a confident manner towards the door.

taking another hit and getting thrown back into the tree he winced as he slid down it back to his feet. dammit that hurts glancing at his health bar he noticed it was yellow and getting close to the point where he would be in the red Adrian quickly put his guard up. im not dying because of these damn things earlier he had stumbled upon a group of 12 nepents including one with a flower on its head he had quickly dispatched two then retreated putting his back to a tree as to not be surrounded. looking around he took inventory of the enemies he had left to defeat three normal ones and the one with the flower the others had fallen on his blade. gritting his teeth Adrian yelled as he rushed two and dispatched them with a flurry of cuts. this time the hit to his back knocked him to all fours and sent his bar to the red zone as he rolled to avoid the finishing blow Adrian came back to his feet and felt a rush of anger and adrenaline. I AM NOT DYING BECAUSE OF THIS I WILL SURVIVE......I WILL FIND HER.......WE WILL LIVE bringing his blade up he rushed the flowerless one executing the sword skill tsujikaze he then continued towards the other with a flower upon its head and used the move ukifune or floating boat knocking it into the air allowing his body to move naturally he lept into the air and activated a third skill gengetsu and spinning in a circle drove his blade through the creature cutting it in half as he landed in a shower of data he heard the last creature behind him and quickly ducked the swipe letting its momentum carry it past him standing he parried another hit and thrust the point of the katana through the creature. after the explosion of data that ensued a message popped up "congratulations on reaching lvl 5" to tired to realize Adrian made his way to the second town and into the first floor of the inn where he then passed out from exhaustion his last effort was raising his hand and whispering "im sorry" before he fell into unconsciousness.
