Walking up behind the other boy Cade replied "i don't think she needs any assistance of yours". holstering the chainsword on his back and making a flame dance on his fingertips. Frowning he held his hand out "sybilla" he said nodding. Helping her up he turned and staring out the hangar doors at the sky said "if they need both of us this is going to be an interesting assignment. Did they tell you anything about where we are going?" he said ignoring the other boy and unsheathing his chainsword taking a couple of practice swings but not revving it.

He had always been considered one of the more rebellious of the monks and it was most evident by what he usually chose to spend his time doing. Most monks when not otherwise busy meditated to find peace and balance. Cade did not believe in or do this he spent every free moment he had honing his body and skills. As the punch hit the bag and he felt it give and dent a little under his hand he heard a ringing sound coming from his bag. walking over he opened it up and picked up the communicator. As he looked at the name he frowned Damn its the boss. Well guess that means my off time is over. he thought as he hit the accept call button. Holding the communicator to his ear he nodded and said "sky spire launching bay? yes sir ill be there shortly." throwing the phone down into his bag he walked briskly to his room and began to get ready. He tossed his training gear on his bed and then donned his armor which still left him shirtless. Cade walked over to the wall and picked up his two handed chainsword he called it the ripper. Slinging it over his back the started walking towards the sky spire and was apparently the first to arrive so he pulled out his sword and started sharpening each of the blades on it.

the knights of the veil are a chapter specializing in siege. They like the grey knights are gifted with the purest geneseed and have the finest weapons. They however are not as secretive as the grey knights and can very often be found fighting alongside the blood angels. These marines have three sects amongst them that house most of their warriors these can be told apart by their colors however all knights of the veil save for one have a primary color of white. The first is the order of the blade which houses those who forgo all ranged combat to learn the ways of war in close quarters. The leader of this particular order is known as the Champion. The members of the order of the blade have a secondary color of silver with eyes that glow the same. Those of this order all carry nemesis force weapons and can take any of the types. The next is the order of the flame. These marines have a secondary color of gold and forsake all training in close quarters to master the ways of ranged combat. The leader of this order is simply known as the Phoenix. These troops carry the best in the emperors arsenal but have a preference towards flamers and heavy assault cannons mainly heavy bolters. Finally there is the order of the scholar. These are the librarians and psykers of the chapter. The secondary adornment for them is a rudimentary bronze. These are the most unstable of all combatants utilizing psychic might to obliterate foes and strengthen allies. Their leader is simply known as the Ascendant. These leaders of the orders answer only to the chapter master who also goes by the name of the high chancellor. He alone has armor that is of different coloration than his battle brothers. His armor is midnight black and he carries only the best weapons his secondary color is a triad of gold,silver, and bronze on his shoulder pads. Like the members of the order of the blade he wears terminator armor however he has been trained in both ranged and close combat thus he has a storm bolter mounted on each arm.

he was recruited from a feral world when he was 17 and was put through the ardous trials of initiation. Surviving he became a knight of the order of the blade and was recognized repeatedly for his valor and bravery in battle. He respected command but would always tell his commander if he could find a better solution. eventually he was offered the position of champion which he refused in order to join the order of the flame. He again and again displayed valor beyond belief even coming close to death multiple times. After centuries of combat the former high chancellor was struck down in combat by a daemon prince whilst combating an incursion on a hive world. Vordran remembering his training retrieved the blade of the high chancellor and used it to strike down the foul daemon. as it lay dying he severed its head and had three librarians trap it there with psychic binding thus ending the incursion and saving the hive world. For his deeds he was given his armor and awarded the title of high chancellor. His legend does not end there he has many times stopped incursions on other planets but is best known for his combating of the great hunger known as the tyrannids.
