personality: Vex is a cocky bastard, however he is also a sociopath and a genius. He has masochistic tendencies and holds grudges. He hates all form of established government and is an anarchist to the core. There is nothing he enjoys more than bloodshed, but he knows when it is time to flee as well. He is a pyromaniac and can frequently be seen burning things. He is outgoing in his words and actions often coming across as brazen, forward, and even crude. However Vex has a redeeming side as well he is loyal to the end. If you matter to him or even matter to someone that matters to him he would give his life to save you.
history: Vex was born in Babylon. His parents were both R.O.C. personnel and were murdered by the Terra Libertas. He was taken in as a baby by The Red Cross. He had a natural gift for close quarters combat that was noticed as he aged by one of the Knight commanders. At the age of ten the commander decided to give him a chance and put him through rigorous martial arts training. He excelled and conquered by age fifteen besting even his instructors in hand to hand and bladed weaponry. HIs one flaw was his urge to dispatch an opponent, to attack without mercy or hesitation. The superiors ignored this and simply passed him on. At age 19 he was put through extreme biological enhancements replacing both his arms with metal constructions and simulation muscle. These arms made him stronger and his punches faster and harder, however that was not all they held in store. The arms each had two durasteel blades inserted into them both had a 12 inch blade that could be extended and retracted from the elbow, and a 36 inch blade that could be extended and retracted from the top of the wrist. After the surgery he took time to heal then threw himself at his training like never before and was soon seen amongst the rankings of the knights. He was a member of one of the fire teams just a basic knight but his commanding officer was killed and he took charge seizing the day and the victory and saving what few brothers were left standing in his unit. This act of heroism enabled him to become a knight captain and lead his now replenished squad and making him one of the youngest if not the youngest to ever achieve the rank. His armor now that of a Captain with a blood red mantle and view screen also has slots for the blades in his arms to be utilized to their full potential. On top of this he was granted his weapons by the Templars but decided to forgo a sword due to his augmentations and carries an assault rifle instead of the lance.
