Braen took this conversation on weapons as a chance to gain some points "Well true, but that Katana would have more reach and killing power. Allowing him more safely and efficiently kill enemies that knives may not pull off".

Braen spoke up and reiterated his earlier point. "you are correct but id have to get close to those enemies. All in all im more suited to be a duelist and she is more suited to be an assassin. While we are both skilled warriors if I get close its over, but at the same time if she sticks me with a knife then im dead." Adrian said.

Roxy laughed she ignored his question about why she had given the smith the application he requested. She wasn't anyone's servant. But that didn't mean that she was going to be rude. Not useless she felt like it. "Your katana might have reach. But I prefer too attack from a distance. Why get up close when I don't have to?" She asked. "My knives will serve me well on this quest. Besides I can hide my knives when I have to. You can't hide your katana. Which means there will be times you will be without it."

He rolled his shoulders back stretching and letting the leather jacket fall to the ground revealing his muscular frame. He pulled the katana from its sheath and held the gleaming silver blade in the sunlight. "It will be a very cold day in hell before anyone separates this weapon from me. My master believed that a warrior's soul was contained inside his weapon. He taught me to never let this sword be taken and I will not stray from his teachings now" he said. Spinning the blade he sheathed it like he had done thousands of times before. Kicking his jacket back up he caught it and draped it over his shoulders again.

As he finished his demonstration a boy walked off as the blacksmith walked away. "well im not going to be escorted anywhere but I will take some food." The boy finished his performance with a flourish and bow. "you know kid I like you you've got style your one of the two interesting people ive met here all day." his eyes shot over to Roxy where the lingered for a second "The first has definitely caught my attention."

As she handed the smith the pen and clipboard Adrian put his middle and pointer finger of his right hand to his forehead. "Oh cmon now Roxy whyd you have to go and spoil the fun like that?" he asked in a snarky tone. "sure buddy we can all get along" he said before leaning in close to the smith "I saw her first go get your own". Straightening back up Adrian yelled "ALLRIGHT NOW WHERE CAN A GUY GET A DECENT MEAL AROUND HERE!?" making sure everyone in the immediate vicinity heard him.

Replying to Roxy he said "true but in a head up fight when you don't throw them my katana has the reach and cutting power yours lack as a team they could be an effective combo. I can fight head up and keep them off you while you aim for vital points. As for the god I wish to become that of vindication and justice my katana shall bring light to a world of darkness" as he finished a newcomer cut into the conversation.

They seemed to be comparing weapons, definitely the violent sort. Maybe people that Braen would want to avoid... but at the same time violent people might make good allies... and would definitely make effective Gods when dealing with those who don't behave. Hold on, now he was thinking like one of those people who had complete faith in this contest, he was just here to check it out though. None the less though, if he could try to make some friends this may work to his advantage, and if he fails... worst happens is that Braen dies. It's not like he really had much to live for at the moment though anyways.He decided to start it off easy, simply by making a remark to the weapons of the two saying "Those look like good weapons. You two use them often?".

Looking at the boy Adrian saw no apparent weapons and a not particularly imposing build. His smile and outward demeanor instantly changed to one of darkness. Power and rage could be felt in an almost tangible aura. "If I were a man of peace would I carry a sword? Do you think I walk around with it because it looks cool? Yes, I have used it on many men the majority of whom did not survive." Adrian finished. Suddenly his darkened atmosphere was gone and his cool and happy demeanor was back. "but im guessing youd prefer to clash with your mind than steel." He said to the newcomer.

Just then another newcomer wearing the garb of a smith interrupted asking if they could hand him a sign up sheet. His smile shining brightly and his green eyes seemed to glow with anticipation. "Do I look like an attendee? Am I your slave? No to both? then get your own sheet because I don't particularly feel like getting one for you." Adrian said this his left hand still resting on the hilt of his sword.

Roxy studied Adrian. She had never been much of a people person. The fact that he carried a weapon made her more inclined to talk to him. She didnt know what this quest would take but having an Allie might come in handy. She was willing to give him a chance. "I have two rules. First you stay out of my personal space unless I say otherwise or the situation demands you to be close. Second you do NOT touch my knives. You can call my Roxy."

"Well then Miss Roxy you don't have to worry about the second rule." he said while patting the hilt of his katana with his left hand. "As you can see knives aren't my flavor I prefer something a bit more elegant." he smirked as he continued "However I don't know about the second part I mean you cant tease me like this everyday wearing tight leather and expecting me not to notice". He hoped she would pick up on the joking tone in his voice.

A smile parted his lips revealing white teeth with slightly elongated canines as he laughed at her wit. "Cupcakes well then I guess I should sign up as well!" he retorted while filling out the form. Putting the form and the pen down and straightening up he looked at her again. Tight leather and knives she was definitely his type. Holding his hand out he said "The name is Adrian want to stick together for the time being?" he smiled the entire time he spoke.

yeah its Roxy I would have had her name but he doesn't know her yet. Also he is 19 he isn't old or anything I just realized I forgot to put his age.

as soon as his opponent backpedalled he checked the momentum of the blow and brought the katana's hilt to the side of his left hip. Planting his foot so he wouldn't go forward he stopped with the blade pointed directly at David's heart. Forcing the other man to keep his distance or run into his sword.

Adrian walked through the rows of tents with a frown on his face. His katana was worn in the traditional Japanese manner on his left side with the blade facing the sky in its scabbard. His arms were not in the sleeves of his jacket instead it was merely draped over his shoulders as he walked calmly. hopefully this will help me find my way to ascension where I may wreak havoc upon those who deserve it. I wonder what this quest is and why they picked here though. There is no significance to this place and most of the people here I could easily kill. It is quite curious.....

His train of thought was stopped when he saw an attractive girl in front of him. she appeared to be looking for the entry tent something he also needed to find.He approached her calmly, but with his left hand resting on the hilt of his katana. "Hello there miss are you here for the quest as well?" he asked nonchalantly.
