I'm no expert with this sort of stuff but I'd guess meletonin is a chemical released by the body to induce sleep and since he says his body does not produce enough it would make it harder for him to fall asleep. Kind of like how old people need less sleep(that actually varies to the individual)

Like a normal vitamin would. It helps add more of what ur body produces. It makes u tired and wanna sleep. Then when ur asleep it wears off. If u resist it it will also wear off. It takes effect after 30 mins. With that I'm gonna take mine and go to bed. Night all. See u in 6-7 hours.

What I take are actually vitamins. They are a all natural vitamin u can get at walmart called meletonion. Ur body naturaly makes it but mine doesn't make enough so I take the vitamin.

I also have to store up energy before doing certain things. U can tell when I am storing energy because I will glow and my hair and eyes change colors. Can't sleep, 4am here as well. This is like day 124 of me doing this sort of thing. I think if I keep it up I'll become fully nocturnal.

I pretty much am nocturnal. I have to take meds to sleeep. And lol on the ice chalenge.
