I like the Detentionee's idea...
Eh I don't know, I'm debating between the Hercules design, which is basically Hercules reincarnated with his powers and a high school senior who works on his parents' Greek food truck outside of school.

How about you just move the Young Avengers along, we've done what we need to do. Just have Bucky back upright and alive.
The train of motion had all happened so quickly. First the shield came flying out of the nearby darkness as Hulkling, Wiccan, and Maria were trying to get to the ship with no success. Then him showing up from the ship’s entry way on the top. The nazi era suit, the crimson skull, Maria Hill clearly knew who it was immediately. Hulkling didn’t have a clue himself, and neither did Wiccan. Although being a jewish boy from new york, the fact that the guy was wearing nazi memorabilia on him was enough to piss Wiccan off.
As Bucky was launched back from the shield being thrown right back into his chin. Red Skull gave an almost mocking salute from the top of the ship before he retreated back in. Maria gritted her teeth looking beet red in anger. “Wiccan! Hulkling! Get Bucky to the medical bay immediately!” She commanded at them, unintentionally putting a lot more fury behind it then she had meant too. “Yes mam!” Hulkling quickly replied as both him and Wiccan grabbed Bucky. Hoisting him up and with his arms around their shoulders as they quickly hurried to the medical bay. “Man why did I have a feeling today was going to be a crappy day?” Wiccan asked out loud.
Ben didn’t have the luxury of waiting around to have his omnitrix recharge. Since SHIELD had a worry this might happen in combat they gave Ben training in other areas so he’d be prepared as normal. Ben was able to get back to his own bunker, where he had one such training safely tucked under his bed. A riot purposed assault rifle, armed with non-lethal but still very painful beanbag rounds. Ben came into the main control room where Nick Fury was up to his armpit in Hydra members. Ben fired away, until finally the omnitrix was ready. Which resulted in whatever’s left getting clobbered by Wildfire as a now oranged colored Ben swooped around and laser blasted any Hydra agents remaining. Finally he landed down near Nick Fury, glancing around when he realized something. “Hey Mister Fury?” Ben asked raising a hand meekly. As Fury was a very intimidating figure to be near. “Who’s… actually flying the ship right now?”
"This is Captain Awesome Scott Pilgrim speaking, Thank you for flying with us today. Parachutes are to be handed out by flight attendants Bucky and Ben. We're all out out of peanuts."
Ben and Nick glanced up at the nearby speaker Scott Pilgrim's voice came out of, and then at each other… “Oh…” Ben awkwardly muttered as he scratched the back of his head. All while Nick Fury quietly stewed in anger, grasping at the bridge of his nose.
In the gym area one of the main power lifting stations was being occupied. A massive figured that had to weigh in the 600 to 700 pound range feverishly lifting away on the two large piston arms putting down on him tons upon tons of weight. Kodol Etol, aka Bulk Lad, took this amazing new opportunity he has been given very seriously, and he wanted to show it to anyone willing to see.
Still though the week had been a mixed bag of emotions for him. On the one hand, Kodol’s home planet of Buga has been electric upon hearing Kodol made it into the Legion. Buga rarely has had any of its own people make it in such a major way, and already month long celebrations are being called for when Kodol returns home.
On the other hand, Kodol couldn’t help but shake the feeling everyone on the team was looking at him as a weak link. Whether it was his kindness or the person he was. He couldn’t tell, but knew people weren’t sure about him. Especially those who jokingly saw Kodol making it into the Legion after what had happened proof they were desperate. Already running out of options enough that they’d take one of those goofy Bugans and put them on their team. Still though Kodol was not to be perturbed.
Truthfully, Kodol felt like he was living a dream in a way. He had always looked up to the Legion of Super Heroes growing up. He had a favorite member too, Bouncing Boy. He saw a lot in him. Someone who was initially mocked and teased because of how they were being goofy. But through sheer heart and willpower proved their worth. Kodol got his autograph once, it is framed now and one of the first things he put into his new living quarters at Legion HQ. Though while he wished he could’ve gotten a chance to work alongside him. Bouncing Boy is among those missing and presumed dead. Especially considering he was one of the last to see Brainiac 5 before…. that happened.
Feeling wet and clammy from the sweat pouring off his forehead. Kodol finally hoisted himself up off of the bench he laid on. His height having grown from all the weight he had put on himself that morning. Breathing a bit, and feeling his muscles ache a little. Kodol got up with a bit of an audible thump, and the ground shaking under his weight. Pondering as he was now standing what to do next.

I was thinking the same thing, plus KL and endurance will also attest to him being adorably awesome.

Despite what his powers entitle Kodol typically looks quite fit and handsome. Around six feet even tall and normally only weighing around 150 pounds. He has long blond hair that reaches his shoulders and his suit is a sleeveless blue piece that has black and white trim with blue tinted goggles.
Age - 16
Powers - Bulk Lad under the right conditions has superhuman strength and endurance. However to gain said ability Bulk Lad has to consume food in order to gain weight. He gains weight much more rapidly than any other kind of species and the larger he is the stronger he is. His body also distributes the weight allowing for mobility no matter how big. As the food he consumes has an effect on him of triple that any other species. His digestive system is also powerful enough to digest any non-food item he swallows without any . On top of this, a Bugan’s jaw line has a strong elasticity to it, meaning that with a moment they can unhinge their jaw, allowing for consumption of something very large.
Personality - Caring, friendly, sensitive
Weaknesses - Kodol has dealt with a lot of ridicule for his people and their unique powers. So much so it makes him upset to hear it from anyone, and he can lose focus in such situation. Naturally as Kodol becomes bigger, his speed decreases, and it is possible for a Bugan to become so big they lose mobility, but its not easily achievable. The only other problem Kodol has is his fact that he trusts people too easily.
Brief Bio - Bugans are typically ridiculed for their unique digestive systems. So often they exist mainly on their own planet, with Bugans outside of it a very rare sight. Kodol himself wanted the universe to see how great his species were. After undergoing the training on his body’s system necessary to create strength through caloric intake Kodol went to the Milky Way galaxy to join the Legion.
Notes - Typically Bugans work not unlike an Earth’s camel. Able to survive without eating much for up to a week. That said Bugans gain weight at a very rapid fashion. Though after a few hours their bodies shrink back down to a normal looking weight and slowly burn the energy. Kodol’s system is able to take all the food intake and produce strength in his muscles for it, despite the still overweight appearance it leaves him. In emergency situations Kodol carries with him a bar of food that can produce enough fat and calories to instantly balloon him up to around 350 pounds.
Also of note, Kodol happens to be a very talented cook. As is traditional with Buga residents as they consider a true mark of talent in one’s culinary skills. These very skills often get shown off in Buga village parties. Notorious for being a week long celebration with food and spirits.
