Avenging Justice (DC + Marvel Young Justice retelling)

Well, I've given sixsmith a PM reminding him I'm basically waiting on him to post before everything can move on, since I'm assuming Izaakgray's attention span is completely gone on this. Problem is that I should be giving him a warning to post with booting him as the consequence, but having my second character modeled after his makes that a painful option...

Elastik stopped in his tracks because of Lucina, now he was starting to get the sneaking suspicion that he wasn't stupid after all. Slowly he turned back to Lucina, his head almost completely turning around on him first to look at her before the rest of his body followed suit. "Uh... no I'm not like... going to get pizza from my house." Elastik stated pointing in the general direction he was going to go. "No that was my house you guys got me out of... and I have a bunch of stuff in it. That's like mine. I was going to get it since its not cheap stuff." Elastik couldn't help but wonder what, if anything, was going on in Lucina's head when he said all this.

"No see the pizza and movie was an offer for another time. Like in a few days or something. I wouldn't even be in costume..." Elastik noted as he was hoping MAYBE she'd pick up on the clues. "No see I was asking to go out on like... a date?" There, he put it out there for her to understand in plain English. "Right now though, I need to go get my personal belongings out of my house since I can't really live there anymore."

"It has secret compartments..." Elastik quickly pointed out, pulling a small pocket out where his wallet was. "I mean I didn't really say all that for like... I meant..." Elastik couldn't figure out, was she not picking up the hint? Was this a subtle 'gtfo' he wasn't picking up on. "You know, I mean its not like I'm saying I'm going to help you with pizza and movies its more... you know... hanging out... doing stuff..." Elastik was running out of ways to describe exactly what he was talking about. "Stuff of a like leisure stuff like nature... stuff..."

He was starting to get the sneaking suspicion he was in fact a complete and utter idiot. That and he might as well bail on this moment while he still had his dignity (or whatever was left of it) in tact. "Eh you know what never mind. Just... thanks again. I need to go get some stuff out of my place while I still have a chance." With that Elastik started to walk away, getting a plan in his head together on how to get to and bring back his personal possessions safely.

"Well hey, don't we all?" Elastik noted, gesturing to the large group of people he helped survive the ordeal with, some of whom his not gotten to know a great deal. He glanced back at Lucina with a bit of a frown. "Well... I mean you did save people, which is what heroes typically do. Plus you have powers which by nature could be constructed as being 'super'. I mean if you want to dice it another way sure... but at the very least you're doing the right thing." Elastik told her as he gave her a smile and a nod. "I mean if you aren't a patrol kind of person. We could just make it more along the lines of destroying the evil dastery pizza monster from Giuseppe's, then keep a close eye out on that mean ol' movie thats playing at the cineplex. I treat on both." Elastik said, teasing a bit.

Elastik returned the smile, "Well it shouldn't take too long, about half an hour. It'll remold itself into an outfit based on your shape and powers." Elastik backed up a little and modeled his own suit. "I mean I'm fairly sure it won't be like this, but still it should work out well enough." Elastik blushed a little at his own dorky modeling skills, looking back up at Lucina. "Well I mean... thanks... by the way... for saving me I mean." Elastik stated feeling really stupid talking like this. "Maybe you and me could go patrol some time? Like together I don't just mean like at the same time or something like in different areas." Elastik quietly spent a moment berating himself for looking like such a complete idiot. Was he really this stupid?

Elastik started to have his mental debate on if he was going to try and go get some of his things from the old house or not. The important, costly stuff at least. But before he could really start into his own personal point/counterpoint. He saw Lucina saying her goodbyes and leaving as a stray dog. Although Elastik's first reaction was more along the lines of "WHOA HOT BABE NAKED OMG YESH!" He quickly got up from where he sat, chasing down Lucina before she could get too far. "Hey hey whoa hold on." Elastik got next to him. Quickly turning his fingers on his hand into a pair of scissors, and trimmed off the entire right sleeve of his costume. Holding it out for the shapeshifting hero. "Here, its made from adaptable nanomachines. Put it on and it should help keep you from being naked when your human." Elastik desperately held back on the 'even though I wouldn't complain otherwise' comment he was about to make. "Go ahead, take it, my suit should go back to normal looking in about an hour."
