Now that I have the time to do more than one RP, if you wouldn't mind, I would take on the role of Chief Armory Officer, and I'll do a CS and whatever else is needed tonight after I get off work.
Mikael heard the knock from inside his room and looked to the door saying, "It's open. Hurry up, we don't have long before we leave."

Mikael already had the clothes for David spread out on the bed, just waiting for the vampire to come into the room. He did wonder in Trixy, who was much more versed in anything vampire than most people in the building, would approve of the clothing choices. Hopefully she did, or at least had an answer on how to change them.

With the door still not open, Mikael walked to the front of the room, opened the door, and realized why David hadn't come in. Trixy was stunning. There was no way Mikael could keep from staring, so that's what he did. He gawked, at least for a couple seconds, before shaking his head and stepping to the side to allow the two vampires to enter.
Mikael woke up, well, he stood up. He hadn't slept much through the night before. Since his family died, he didn't really sleep. He was walking around shortly before the sun rose, knowing today would be the day for a mission. He slid into a pair of black jeans and a cutoff, which he normally would have covered in a floor length trench coat, but since the barracks air conditioning, or at least the unit in his room, was on the fritz, Mikael left the coat hanging on a hook on the wall. The night before, he had somewhat unpacked the little clothing he had. The small dresser in the corner of the room now contained three pairs of black jeans, two pairs of slacks, three black cutoff shirts, a silver dress shirt and a dark, blood-colored dress shirt along with the necessary socks and undergarments. Mikael also had a black sports coat. While he normally chose not to wear the dressier clothes, they were the main things he wore when trying to get laid or, depending on the job, job interviews.

Mikael waltzed out of his room and the the bathroom, brushing his teeth while he showered to save some time. After grooming, Mikael went down the stairs and to the mess hall, filling a bowl with hot cereal, raisins, and some toast on the side. Shortly after finishing his food, Mikael went and grabbed a cup of black tea, adding sugar for taste, along with two cans of Monster energy drink to keep him going through the day. He then rolled out of the complex, lit one of the cigarettes he had found buried in his pack the night before, and took in the sunrise. He was the first to arrive at the meeting and finished his tea just as Carson began to speak.
Mikael looked at David with a grin, almost chuckling at the thought of David dressed up. He then nodded and said, "Yeah, I have a set of dress clothes you could borrow, just bring your weapons and meet me in my room." He then stood up, nodded to Carson, and left the room. While he was waiting for David, Mikael put on one set of dress pants, the silver shirt, and the sports coat, sliding his .44 Anaconda into one of the inner pockets on the coat, using the bulk bear the buttons to conceal the handle. He then placed his combat knife in the special made sheath located in his boot.
I'm sorry guys. I had to take my laptop to the Geek Squad. RAM card went out on me. I'm working on a post and I'll be regular so I won't be disappearing as much, at least I'll give notice. Also, I do think we should probably drop an int check, because even with me, it still looks like 2 vamps and a human, plus Heat. While that could work well and we'd have less of a chance of more drops, I guess it's up to you guys.
Sounds good to me
"Well, I suppose our date will just have to wait," Mikael said with a wink. Inside, he thought, 'Dang, she didn't even take the bait.' He snapped his fingers in a dramatic fashion, then turned to Lupa with a sly grin on his face.

"Just trying to see what the girl's made of. I just want to know how she reacts in certain situations."

With that, Mikael took a deep breath, as if changing some internal setting to make him not sound like a total sleaze ball. After exhaling slowly, he added, "Well, I guess that just leaves you and me. I'm heading down to the cafeteria whether you come with or not."

Without a second look, Mikael left the room, heading towards the cafeteria, eager to sink his teeth into some sort of meat.
I think it's safe to say Nereid probably isn't coming back. And if she does, we could always have her retroactively agree to go with us or have to run off by herself for some reason.
Mikael grimaced as he heard the soft footfalls of one of the werewolves come up behind him. It wasn't anything personal, although it irked him to no end to see a new recruit seemingly berate someone up the food chain, someone who had likely killed many of her kind, but Mikael just couldn't get himself to like werewolves. Fighting alongside them was one thing, but being social with one seemed downright wrong to him. He swallowed his pride just before Lupa rounded the corner.

Mikael listened to Lupa introduce herself and ask for an invite before she had a strange, trance-like look come across her face. Without warning, she darted her head towards the human female. Before Mikael knew what she was doing, acting on instinct, he placed his right hand on his trusty .44 Anaconda holstered across his stomach, under his jacket. He could pull it at a moment's notice. His left hand drifted to his hip where he had a silver combat knife sheathed in heavy leather with an inner lining of lead, as to not disturb werewolves without Mikael intending to do it. When he realized Lupa was sniffing the girl, rather than harming her, as his instincts would suggest, his hands returned to their proper place at his sides. His face went from fierce to merely puzzled.

"What did you smell? Well, anyways, I had just invited Gorgeous here to lunch, so it's up to her if you can come with." It took everything Mikael had not to sneer at the wolf. While he knew this wolf wasn't one of the wild ones who had killed his family, he had made sure none left the scene, it was difficult for him to even stand near one of the creatures. He could overcome the sense of pain mixed with loathing on a battlefield helping take down the rogue supernaturals like the ones that had killed his family, but it would take quite a bit of work to overcome his learned hatred.

"By the way, the name's Mikael."
Happy Birthday. My girlfriend's 22nd birthday is coming up in November, and she doesn't expect it to be nearly as memorable (or non-remembered) as her 21st.

Also, I've done some archery. Mainly based on my fascination for fantasy novels and the like, but it's a great pass time, and even practical for hunting where I'm from.
Mikael sat through the meeting shaking his head. He didn't dare say anything, but if the team came down to a battle of races, Mikael knew which side he would pick. That being said, his rational side knew that if the team were to have any success outside of the compound, they would have to learn to work together. Being a human, Mikael was pretty sure he would go along with whatever the supernaturals decided to do. Granted, he knew how to slay a werewolf, and theoretically knew how to slay a vampire, but he knew he'd be thankful for both species' help in the near future.

After the words died down, the tension was still thick in the air, so when David mentioned his name to Trixy, all he did was nod. While it would be his choice to befriend the vampires, he didn't want to get on her bad side. She was many lifetimes old, and chances were, he wouldn't last long alone if she couldn't stand him. That and he didn't really want a blood meal. With that thought, Mikael's stomach rumbled, reminding him of his hunger.

Mikael stood, stretching his back and looking around the room. He had taken special note of the woman who had come in late. First, he had always liked redheads, and second, she was the only other human recruit. He figured she was as good of a place to make another friend as any. Mikael walked to the back of the room where she was still seated and extended his hand saying, "Hello there. My name's Mikael. What's yours?" Then, as a little flirtations gamble to see where he stood, he added, "It's not Gorgeous, is it? Because it definitely could be." His voice was smooth, the same smooth that helped him pick up his wife so many years ago.

"Anyways, do you want to go down to the mess hall and grab something to eat?" Whether or not she flirted back didn't matter to him. The whole flirting thing was more of seeing where he stood in relation to her. If she went with it, then there could be something, and if she didn't, then Mikael would move on and just be friends. Either way, he wanted to eat, and soon.
