So, when should we do a time skip to the next encounter with the ripper?

I'm about to go out for some lunch, so when I get back I'll think of something juicy. We can't just have him pop up too much. Degrades the mystery, and character a little bit. Gotta make a build up.

Any idea of what Wilhelm should be doing? Other than drinking schnapps and trying to forget what hes just seen?

Not a clue!

He's your character.

Yes, definitely. I'll leave that to you, but if I feel they should've died, I will kill them.

Alright, sounds good.
Marcus stood up and walked over to the pile of journals produced by Victor. He picked one of them up and began inspecting it.

"Nothing too different about the latest victim. Arguably, it's the youngest one yet." He paused to scan through the journal. Odd, the only Order or organization he was aware of that hunted monsters was theirs. And the only outside source who knew about it was Queen Victoria and a select few members of the royal family, but that was it. He cleared his throat and read a passage from the journal he was holding to himself.

"She had to be about fourteen years of age. He usually targets prostitutes, so this case is extremely odd. I buried the corpse, but Spencer is currently examining the head." He handed Victor the journal and leaned up against one of the bookshelves and sighed.

"As you know, the victims have all of their organs removed. However, this latest victim had no visible trauma to her head, so I believe the brain to be intact. Not his usual form of art you could say." He paused.

"As for another Order like us, I'm not aware of one. However. My Grandfather might know something." And with that, Marcus headed off to the Blacksmith to confront his grandfather also named Victor.

Sorry for the wait guys, I'm working on a post now. Work was a pain. Also what secrets do the headquarters hold, specifically the library?

Common Room, Kitchen, Blacksmith, Sleeping Quarters.

EDIT: Also, how would you guys feel about the chance of characters being able to die? It's why I thought of the secondary character thing.

Like previously asked, are inhuman characters entirely off the table?

I'd like everyone to start human, but we'll discuss potential "Race changes" later on ;)

Also, posted the grandfather in my previous post.
I also think I should make a character sheet for Marcus' grandfather who was the ex-leader of the Order and is in charge of maintaining everyone's weapons. He never leaves the headquarters, and isn't a main character. Just something to help push the plot along.

Once things move along some more I'll let everyone make a secondary character if they so choose.

Name: Victor Van Helsing
Age: 65
Gender: Male
Primary Weapon: Rusted Sledgehammer
Secondary Weapon: Single Shot Victorian Parlor Pistol
Profession: Blacksmith
Bio: Victor is the grandfather of Marcus Van Helsing and was the original leader of The Order. He had created the organization under direct orders from Queen Victoria along with some of his fellow comrades from past wars, and childhood friends. He is the last surviving member of the original Order and handed leadership over to his only surviving family member, his grandson, Marcus. His reasoning for doing so was while hunting a Pureblood it had killed three members of his group, and nearly killed him. He had to have a leg amputated to stop the virus from turning him, and so he is no longer combat able and instead works in The Order's blacksmith shop repairing, and maintaining the weapons and providing some pretty solid Monster advice.

Season one: The Ghoul of Whitechapel

Hell yeah.
Also, I've decided to have The Ripper be the first main villain we deal with. Then, towards the end of his run we can introduce the vampire story arc.

I'm thinking doing this roleplay in terms of "seasons" similar to what Television series do. For example:

Season 1: Jack The Ripper (Or something that sounds fancy.)
How do you guys feel about him being our main enemy for a bit before we introduce Olaf, and his entourage of vampires?
Will our characters be able to die if we make poor choices?
