Leo isn't a mage, He's a Magitech warrior. Hence the massive war axe/battle scythe with a assault rifle built in to it. He has magic, yes, but he's much more versatile than that. Hell if all else fails he'll just use the mana lance to generate a uber-snowball and turn Raule in to a snowman.

Well, It depends on which one of 'em he hit. Anyway, Half the point was just to start chaos, its not like getting hit with a snowball is going to make you mad. and anyway Leo's running round like a maniac.
Edit; Honestly Leo's not fussed so long as a snowball fight happens. so go for tanking a snowball. Because Tanking snowballs.

~Bows~ If you think about it, Leo's had a odd childhood, While he's a child prodigy he didn't get much in the way if 'fun time' so when he gets a chance to start a snowball fight, party, or just have a laugh He'll be the first in line. but yes, I also just wanted a snowball fight.

Leonardo had seen snow before however due to the placement of his house he rarely had a chance to actually do anything with it. Deciding to cause a decent amount of mayhem he looked round for a suitable target, spotting a large orc hoard he took his time to spot the largest and most heavily armed ork, the one that seemed to be giving most of the orders( Rathavar). Stooping down and balling up a large lump he took aim and hurled it overarm, jogging sideways getting out of sight as fast as he could he heard a satisfying ‘Paf’ of the snowball hitting a target. “Yes!” He said grinning, balling up another one and breaking in to run again, deciding who to toss one at next he saw a girl sauntering along blowing kisses left right and centre(Ari). A sidelong lob made sure the next thing she kissed was frozen water. Now giggling like a madman Leonardo skidded to a halt. Taking the moment to gauge the situation, balling up another snowball and hurling it as hard as he could towards the two girls with what appeared to be parts of an aeroplane attached to them(Alika & Elena). Another mad sprint another satisfying ‘Paf’ noise, at this point he was pretty sure either he was about to be hammered by about half a dozen people with snowballs or he’d started a good sized Snowbrawl. Either way he wasn’t about to stop, Starting to run again he scooped up another handful of snow, balling it up he tossed it towards a girl in armour with a whip at her side who seemed to be berating another student over feeding the griffon some beef jerky. He was already running away, unsure of which of the pair he’d hit(Ayaka & Raule). At this point he decided the most prudent course of action was to go stand in the vicinity of someone he’d not thrown a snowball at. Then had a change of mind and just started to mill generally towards the main entrance. Hoping to avoid getting spotted by everyone he’d just thrown a snowball at.

History; Azurel is the primordial god of death and darkness, The embodiment of all that men fear. However, Not only is he the embodiment of the end, but thus since for time to have meaning it must have an end, he is the definition of time. He does not control it, He tells time what it means to be time. He was here before, and will be here after. He has chosen to intercede because without the mass selection of deities among the pantheon of earth there lacks enough variation for time to be measured in a valid sence, One day might as well be the last.
Powers;
Control of Death, Not death as in being dead, but Death, as in The Grim Reaper. The Death of men, the Death of Mice,The Death of all things. These avatar's of the end are fragments of him, and thus he can command them.
Total Darkness Manipulation. While others may have grown in to the shadows, and others have grown from them, He Birthed the Darkness. as such His command is absolute. Unbreachable.
Time Definition, He is capable of defining what time means. This is highly different from control, when one controls time, they can (for themselves) make it seem as if time is flowing backwards Ect. However, This is in actuality the ability to move ones self through time differently. Time Definition extends to the application of this to others and upon others such as, one with Time Definition can make someone's time flow backwards, So they appear to be getting younger and younger to all those around them, As for them everyone else appears to be flowing backwards. Or he can slow someone's timespace down Ect.
Primordial Existence. His powers are separated from the requirement of believers.
Appearance;

Personality; as one would expect Azurel to be, his personality is cold, some would say deathly cold. he is also calculating and without a doubt terrifying.
Skills; Incarnation of fear, everyone, other than a true god, is afraid of him to a lesser or greater extent.

Equipment; Final Blade, This is the last blade that ever exists, the blade that cuts the thread of the universe. When he draws it, Run.
