The aftermath of what? The War that tore the galaxy asunder
The Rp is set in the far future, But an apocalyptic far future. Think Sci-fi Apocalypse. Both sides refused to back down, and so they both used their Ultimate weapons, ripping the galaxy itself apart, Turning it from a spiral galaxy to a HyperNova, (Think every star in the entire galaxy going supernova all at once). Some people survived, Some did not. Most that survived became scavengers or pirates of one form or another. making do with whatever they could, destroying what they could not. However, in one corner of the galaxy, far beyond the reach of the worst of the cataclysm, sat a black cube, A massive space station, A sanctum, a fortress. made by a tiny third faction, one faction that didn't want to get involved in the war. The only issue is that the cube itself was damaged.
500 Years later those within are awoken from their cryo sleep, However bits of their memory are missing, damaged or blocked. However they can be regained, through fixing the cube, or finding triggers, scattered throughout the remnants of the galaxy. The cube itself is controlled by a 'Overmind' A hyper-intelligent Supercomputer that exists in the space between dimensions. It is this computer that guides those awoken from their cryo sleep. The computer itself can 'see' parts of the future, however it is very fuzzy on what it sees and such, to stop pre-determinism. though it does sometimes get insights that help guide those it has awoken.

Standard RP rules of Respect other players, be polite Ect stand.
The RP is PG16, So PM/Fade to black if you feel the need to go down the romance path. However, Feel free to be as descriptive as you like about disemboweling, decapitating, dismembering, and otherwise dealing with the numerous bad guys you'll encounter! You get Style points.
Notes;
This is a Team Play RP, so if you go it alone, You'll most likely end up dead.
You start with almost No memory, but you need a backstory.
You will gain powers/skills as we go.
Characters will not be built in the standard manner. Players will chose a couple of options, and I will provide said player with a image and brief description. They will then be free to build off that.
There are billions of races, so if you don't want to play Human. Then just say. (Some Char building choices 'exclude' Race.)
I will not have a character. Rather I will be playing the overmind, Guiding the players through the adventure, Giving them foes. telling them when new memories (and powers) are unlocked.
due to the fact that the Cube has the capacity to re-build/clone those under its protection, You may die a few times. And there will be a slight penalty to dieing.
To explain how Character creation will work;
The Player will chose one of three;
Controler, Augmetic, Changed.
Then The player will chose one of three colours;
Red, Green, Blue,
Then the player will chose one of Three Distances;
Close, Medium Far.
Oh and Male or Female!
Giving a possible 91 basic combinations (Not including Gender-swaps). Lets say I chose 'Augmetic, Red, Close'
That would give me;
with the description; You believe that your "true human" form and biology is perfect as it is, and that your humanity should not be altered, However, adding extra levels of effectiveness on by augmenting yourself with additional bits of technology that sees no loss in your humanity is fine. With a large amount of subdermal implants, and a spinal augment your regeneration rates, and strength are immense compared to most other creatures, Able to wield even the largest weapons with ease you prefer to get up close and personal with the foes be it slicing them up with energy blades, or tearing them apart with your own augmented hands.
From there. the player would be able to build a full CS sheet and even attribute powers and skills, as well as build a personality. as well as provide additional images (Such as weapons, further Armour, ect)

Note 1; As the RP goes on, and Characters regain their memory, I will PM players with Events, occurrences, grudges, Or other links that their character remembers about themselves and others. These may be Anything from X person owes them some money. to Person Y is married to their younger sister. This is to promote interaction, development, and above all; To keep people on their toes.
