I am me. Thats about it.
Roleplay wise, high free through to casual. I like anything non normal. so scifi, apocalyptic, steampunk, fantasy, anything other than day to day humdrum.
I love world building. I am happy to just build a world for a roleplay and let it be populated and used by others.
I am online and offline sporadicly as the mood takes me. so expect irregular responses.

Syrax sighed, once again he was on his own set of seats in the bus, everyone either to afraid of him or just not wanting to talk to someone who looked so down. not to pleased that he'd got stuck in the viscous cycle that had caused his unhappiness last time he tried to smile, it just looked like he was grimacing. shrugging he went back to looking glum and staring out the window to the buildings going past.
He was on the only bus that took students from the normal human world through to the shielded bubble that was Yokai Academy. They were already almost full hand had less than four more students to pick up. Of those three two were waiting by the tunnel and another was picked up a few minutes before those two. Through the tunnel and out the other side, the bus halting quite sharply at the stop, Syrax slid off his seat sidways, he'd flipped to stretching across the seats when the last students had been picked up. A few students noticed him, one or two laughed. he stood and brushed himself down, walking out the bus he watched as everyone headed off towards the school. The rule about monster forms had been lifted a few years ago, most people still tried to keep human as much as possible though. Sighing to himself Syrax started the walk towards the school, watching as everyone else chatted animatedly to one another, some days he hated being as he was. he concentrated on stopping his aura from being quite so strong. after a while he just let it be and kept up with everyone. While his Aura was not very powerful it was disturbing enough to discourage people.
After a while Syrax, and everyone else, Arrived at the school, they all filed in to the assembly room, a huge auditorium filled with rows of seats, the teachers were sat upon the stage, looking down at everyone. Syrax gulped and made his way to a seat, not really caring where he sat.

Good memories with MechQuest. I remember getting that pizza cutter weapon and thinking it was the greatest thing ever. Also loved the shared bits of story it had with the company's other game, DragonQuest, another one of my favorites when I was way younger.
I know the feeling. Guys in the office and I play it over lunch, since the collages server now blocks unreal torny hosting.

If it's a reference to Mechaquest, then it's an unintentional one. As friend Rafale says, GEARs was the RP I ran before the Forum imploded. It was loosely based on a blending of elements from the tactical tabletop RPG Heavy Gear, and the comic series and RPG Albedo, as well as elements of various mecha anime. You're certainly welcome to join in, of course!I'm currently writing up a background, along with other useful info, I won't get it up tonight, but probably tomorrow evening (GMT) though no guarantees!
MechQuest is a online RPG that I play, its basicly a turn based mech combat game with a Ok plot and some amusing weapons, but oddly addicting. the University in it is called GEARs university, there's also anthro ailiens and a evil otherworldy space force comeing to kill everyone as well. so I kinda saw the parallels quite quickly.
Never watched either anime, but I saw mecha, Gears (mechquest refrences!) and Anthro and just decided to throw caution to the winds.

My magic is original. Its similar to airspace or astral body magic, or rather somewhere between the two, but with more of a focus on seer-like magic than either. Really everybody's magic is original to some extent. If not the type, then the specific's of the mage's spells.
I suppose so. but still, its very much based in the anime within the bounds of the elemental rules.
