Alexander laughed "then don't say anything." he smiled and stood looking at her warmly. "some old dingbat once said to me, when words fail, a kiss often suffices." he then looked away "not that I'm saying you should kiss me, just that you don't need to say anything, I'm just looking out for you. you'd do the same for me I hope." he put a hand on her shoulder. "I just don't want to see you end up like Hitomi. I think, from what I've seen she's got PTSD induced amnesia." he sighed, "you're mad, and cute. and.." he laughed again. "I'm babbling." he stated and hugged her suddenly.

"So." Alexander stood and tapped the door pad, closing the door and then sitting back down. "So...." he sighed and rubbed his temples. "I guess I owe you and apology, sorry for all that back there. I don't want dr phyco to know I have access to the vents. I'd rather he think I think nothing of you so that he dosn't use you to get to me." he pulled her daggers from his belt where he'd kept them hidden since he stole them. "These are yours." he said and then shoved his hand under his matress, pulling out a small pot he'd stolen from the medical center, "this should help the swelling. I was in the vents the whole time. I didn't want to get you in any more trouble by interfeering" he stepped back and ran a hand through his hair. "I am sorry for getting you in to that mess."

Yeah, some days I just wish I'd taken basic bio-chem, and then some days I feel really fucking smug because I can grin at all those biochem students and go "while you're prodding onion cells I'm sequencing the DNA of a cancer cell and helping hunt for the cure." (no we haven't done that yet)

"really, from what I've seen she takes her punishment without complaint, she refuses any chance of escape, and she's now standing meekly behind and beside you looking at the floor like Hitomi does." he sighed and nodded "I would like the bandages by this evening if thats possible, since this is my last one and I'm sure you don't want to have to re-implant me." he sat on his bed after finishing dressing his injury and closed his eyes, "Thirty minutes. computer lab. see you there doc."

You wouldn't like these spiders. these little bastards were due for milking, and are very visious, also they bite alot, and can kill. yeah, I'm doing a uni degree in toxicology and virology, we also have a spider that produces HIV as its venom because one of the guys that left last year was working for a military contractor. we intend to squish it asap.

"I would like that back, If I remember correctly, You let me take it from the gym, I did say." he stretched and lay back on his bed. "Get me to co-operate huh? maybe you could not let the insectoid rip my limbs off, that might help. feeding me might get a bonus in that department" he paused and sat up picking some metal from off his claw, watching it evaporate in his palm. "you know, treating me like a human. that might get some basic co-operation, like not stealing food, not trying to burn your office, doing some experiments for you." he stood and kicked the basic footlocker at the end of his bed, popping it open and rummaging through it. "as for something more advance, like being polite, or actually giving a dam...." he shrugged. "that depends, my old blade back would be a big one." he eventually stood pulling a spare pair of gloves from the locker and swapping his previous ones out,the streaks of rapidly cooling metal didn't do the leather any good. he finally looked at the two, his eyes seeming to utterly glide over Roxy as if she wasn't there. "I'm sure I'll think of some more as we go along. he checked the wrap on his arm, starting to unwind it. "oh and one other thing. I'd like a chance to talk to Roxy without being listened in on. but I doubt anything I say would matter, since she's now wrapped around your finger like a good little kitten." he sighed, finishing unwinding his bandage, the massive rent in his arm still visible where the DNA implant was resting. "actually I could do with some new bandages for this, since whatever you put in there is stopping it from healing properly." he dropped the blood soaked bandage in the bin and pulled another out the footlocker, snapping it closed and re-winding his arm.

Lol, I litrally looked at her and walked out the lab, came back five minuites later to utter pandamonium in a full hazmat suit with a bug net and spent the next three hours catching the little bastards, thankfully no one got bitten.
