@Fabricant: Character is edited and complete. Here is the link
@Fabricant: I apologize if I jumped to the "Intolerant" defense a tad quickly. Though as I saw it I had JUST barely posted they character and there had already been 4 (or 5, cant remember) post about the characters disorder made them uncomfortable and felt as if they labeled the character before actually reading her content and actually understanding what the character was all about. If you notice the moment I read all their responses I changed the unsettling information.

Then I voiced my concern that their reaction seemed a bit intolerant because they pounced on the character the second it was made because of a disorder (I have proven with several sources) that is very similar to a disorder in real life.
Oh my God. Are you seriously hung up on the fact I put the plural form of ovary and testis?? Is that the ONLY reason you continued to argue? My apologies! It was a mistype. Get off your high horse thinking you know better than everyone. If you notice during this entire conversation I have actually done research and sited sources and admitted where I was faulted. Where as all you have done was sit back and make broad remarks entailing the credo "You're wrong" and things of the sort without backing up your statements.

For the love of all things Holy. I thought someone so quick to point out someones lack of knowledge on a subject would be a little more open minded. Have fun on your pedestal where you think you know all things. Hope you have a parachute when someone knocks you off from there.
"True Gonadal Intersex: Here the person must have both ovarian and testicular tissue. This may be in the same gonad (an ovotestis), or the person might have one ovary and one testis. .." Quoted Source

I still don't see where I am wrong.

Edit: If you want to make your point better understood you should try explaining your thoughts and reasoning. Instead of saying few words that aren't very pointed and direct. It would make this discussion a lot more clear on both sides.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pseudohermaphroditism

Please feel free to read it again. Because apparently you missed something.

Specifically this part...

"In some cases, the external sex organs look intermediate between the typical clitoris or penis. In other cases, the external sex organs have an appearance that does not look intermediate, but rather has the appearance that would be expected to be seen with the "opposite" gonadal tissue. Because of this, pseudohermaphroditism is sometimes not identified until puberty."
In the history there was only one mention of her condition which I believe said "She was born with both male and female genitalia" which should have been "Born with both male and female sex organs" which refer to her having both testicles and ovaries within her. Though she would grow to develop the pseudo-hermaphroditic qualities which would manifest the APPEARANCE of a penis despite the fact it is only a deformation of the clitoris that resembles said appearance.

This would give my character the sense of not being normal upon seeing the naked female in the adult film her friend had shown her. Where she would come to the conclusion, in her adolescent mind, that she had both the lady part and the APPEARANCE of a male part. But she would believe she actually had the male part seeing as she doesn't know better.

Never in my character description did I say. "Sophia wasn't only born with a vagina. But also a massive penis." I said she had both male and female genitalia, which in theory was correct and real. Not literally having the male genitalia but having the appearance of one.
@Fabricant: Sorry my character brought so much drama to your thread. If you noticed I have already deleted all the upsetting information.
Have you been absent this entire conversation? I have given proof that what I described in my character sheet was fully possible with Pseudo-hermaphroditism. To have the appearance of both a penis and vagina. Note; I said APPEARANCE. To a young girl, Which my character IS, would assume she had both of those organs from a glance at a male and female naked.

...I'm disturbed by a completely fictional condition, not the real thing that's nothing like it.Saying I'm intolerant because of that would be like accusing someone of being racist against elves. : |

If you have been following along with Raineh and my conversation you would realize that the character I created had a very real condition even if I may have miss worded a few things.

EDIT: What I described was real if maybe a bit exaggerated.

The scenario where either is a 100% possible choice?

"Intersex infants with ambiguous outer genitalia may be surgically 'corrected' to more easily fit into a socially accepted sex category. Others may opt, in adulthood, for surgical procedures in order to align their physical sex characteristics with their gender identity or the sex category to which they were assigned at birth."
