Sophia sighed in defeat as she rode in the back of her fathers sedan. She had wanted to get to school on time today but her incessant mother just had to go get professional pictures with them all. Apparently it was a big deal that this would be her first school since moving to Japan from the United states. Her mother was incredibly sentimental and persistent when she wanted something. Though the pictures didn't take up all of her day getting lost in the streets of japan definitely was the nail in the coffin for her hopes of getting to school remotely on time. She would have to deal with it and wait for tomorrow. She was actually mildly excited for school. It was something new and the idea of living on campus seemed... strange. But in a good way of course. No longer having to come home to her parents constantly barraging her with questions about her day. She didn't think much about it so there was never much to tell. She was far too apathetic and melancholy to take enough notice of things to bring back a story to tell.

Finally they arrived, the brakes squeaking quietly as they came to a stop. She was quick to hop out of the car and collect her two suit cases. Before she could escape her father was there and grabbing at her arm to keep her from running off.

"Hey hey, aren't you going to say good bye?" Her father teased, a warm smile on his face. She liked her father, he always spent so much time trying to keep her happy and get a smile on her face. That and the whole genetically prone to being a daddy's girl helped that along.

She smiled barely, turning around to face him. She dropped her bags and gave her father a strong hug. He smiled and returned the hug, kissing her on the top of the head. "See ya kiddo. Call us when you can. You know how your mother worries." Sophia rolled her eyes, one thing she knew very well was how much her mother worried.

"See ya dad.." She spoke softly, just barely too loud to be considered a whisper. With that her father ruffled her hair one last time teasingly and went back to the car before driving off.

She sighed, 'Did he have to mess up my hair on my first day...' whining to herself. She picked up her bags and was off past the gates and towards the school. She came across the bulletin board. She saw her name she read on, though it took her a while to comprehend all the words; She spoke japanese fairly well though she might forget what a certain hiragana symbol was. She then turned on her heels and made her way to check out the school before finding her room. She entered one of the buildings, walking down the hall at a leisurely pace; checking out the artwork and decorations throughout. As she came into a cross section where two hallways met in a crossing she suddenly slammed into someone. She bounced back and landed hard on her bottom, groaning as her backside throbbed from the hard landing. Looking up she saw who she ran into, her unnaturally bright blue eyes blinking to make sure what she saw was real. It was a young looking girl with short hair. She had tears swelled under her eyes as if she were on the verge of tears. "Oh! I am very sorry!" Sophia spoke out sincerely in the best Japanese she knew, the words a little choppy but never the less correct. She worried she hurt the girl and she was going to cry but in fact the girl had just been the brutal end of a mean prank.

Sophia pushed herself up to her feet and held out her hand to the girl to help her up. "Please don't cry. I didn't mean to hurt you." She apologized sincerely.

Thank you ^-^

@Anyone; Could anyone fill me in on what's going on in the RP? Or give me a good place to start reading to get the relevant info to make an introduction post?

Well fast has a lot of meanings. Like so fast "dodging all the time to simply tie out the enemy then hit them when they cant attack" thing. But yeah as long as she tires out fast like Mizuki its fine. Over time she can get over it little by little but this is still the beginning.Though im unsure why you gave her blades since everyone pretty much uses blades and Spirits are again magic based not weapon. Now using fire shaped ibto swords, sure but actual blades eh xD those are man made things.

I was thinking about giving the blade some sort of meaning or special power she is still unaware of. All she knows is she was born with the dagger and the gear she is wearing. I thought it matched because the blade is made of obsidian which is a hard and brittle glass made from rapidly cooled lava.

I am a little iffy on making her super strong, fast and fire power. Though if she has low stamina like Mizuki and all her abilities are mostly based on magical elemental damage, then its fine. And I actually do have a idea of who could have summoned/created her for this particular task. But that be spoilers :p So accepted.

Haha I understand your concern but like you were saying she does have low stamina (not because she has low reserves but the fact she burns through her energy crazy fast in a fight) and her fighting tactic is spray and pray lol. She has no precision or fighting style. If she would try getting into a physical brawl or use her knife an experienced fighter would have little trouble with her because of her sloppy technique. And by "Fast" I meant like running and her reaction time. Her punches and kicks aren't that fast simply because she is so awkward in a physical fight. Even with her improved speed an experienced fighter would be faster with attacks and defense but she would be able to out run them or react fractions of a second faster.
Daiki, Akiko (大輝, 明子)

.:. 5'4" | 120lbs | Eyes - Bright Amber | Hair - Reddish Orange .:.

Name: Daiki, Akiko. (Name meaning; Great Radiance, Bright Child.)

Age: Three (3) days.

Job Class: Spirit of Fire.

Weapon: A curved obsidian dagger.

Clothing:
Akiko always remains in the same outfit. The (seemingly) steel plates of armor on her shoulders, waste, knees and forearms. She wears (again, seemingly) steel chain mail on her torso and arms. She wears leather gloves , chest and boots that come up to just below her knee; all dark red and intricately detailed. Aside from that a cloth skirt dyed the same dark red, wrapping around her legs with a slit up along her left leg for maneuverability.

Height: 5'4".

Personality:
Akiko is a very curious young flame spirit. Having only been created a few days she has yet to experience all that life as to offer. Being a spirit she has a naturally kind personality with a strong sense of right and wrong. Though despite her kindness she is also a reincarnation of flames. When she feels someone is doing wrong or she feels threatened she can be very defensive and a tad bit hot headed (hehe.. get it?) But she does a rather good job keeping a level head and a bubbly attitude. She can sometimes get distracted by things that she hasn’t seen before; more often than not it is hard to keep her attention as she is darting back and forth between strange and beautiful things she has to see, touch or taste. Sometimes all in the same occasion.

History:
There isn’t much to tell about the young – though not in appearance – Akiko. She was only created days prior to finding the young girl she was created to protect. Akiko was born from one of Kagu-tsuchi’s eight pieces, or more specifically in a volcano. She was sent down to gain a physical form to aid in the protection of Miyamoto, Mizuki. Her only purpose was to make sure that Mizuki made it to the top of the mount and safe, complete their mission and avoid chaos reigning free within Japan.

Strengths:
-Tremendous power with her flames.
-Frightening speed.
-Exceptionally strong.
-Unpredictable in combat.

Weakness:
-Mental.
  • She will always put herself in danger if it means protecting Mizuki.

  • Easily distracted.

-Physical.
  • Unexperienced. Her only prayer in a fight is to completely over power her opponent.

  • Sloppy maneuverability.

  • She can’t control her fire that well, often tiring herself out during a prolonged fight.

Likes:
Hot springs, sunny days, eating food, shiny things, strange looking anything, and sleeping.

Dislikes:
The cold, sharp things, nasty smells, people telling her not to lick things, and being hungry.

Dream:
To keep Mizuki alive no matter what.

Fear:
Mizuki dieing. Not getting Mizuki to the top of the mountain in time. Hurting Mizuki with her fire. Cold water.

Miscellaneous:
Fire Form.
Tattoo on the back of her neck.
I might also be interested in the first plot :)

Actually Swiths are vulnerable against themself, Demons, and Priestess's. Demons will try to devour the spirit, basically destorying them into so they never exist. So no happy afterlife for them. So if like Mizuki or Kaede tried, rhey could her using their demonic powers or simply eat her. They are more magical beings then physical. You could have her possess characters or simply be somewhat physical so she is seen. But the group themselves would all be able to see her no matter what as long Mizuki or Hanami is present for reasons remaining disclosed.I probably should of played a spirit v.v id have fun using spirit powers to mess with the group :p but whichever if you really want her physical I suppose its fine. But that wasnt the idea for them. Except for the actual nature base God born spirits.

If you would prefer I could play Kii instead. I don't want to go against your vision of how a spirit character would be played. :) either character is fine with

OOO nice. Though I dont see why she needs money. Considering shes dead and few people can actually see her. (Only those who have true faith or is spiritual by nature) and she has no need for food, water, or sleep xD

I was off the idea that she would be able to manifest herself into physical form. I understand common, average spirits would not have the power to transform into a physical entity. If my spirit character is just a formless energy that some people MIGHT be able to see it'd be terribly uninteresting to role play. Not to mention if she has no physical entity makes her practically invulnerable. If she is nothing but an ethereal form she would have no way of getting hurt unless someone had a special weapon that to connect to the spirit plane.

If you don't want to go the whole manifestation into physical form maybe we can go the route of possessing a human vessel that had recently died near the spiritual site where sachi's soul remains?

Edit: and sleep is just her way of acting like a normal girl. She doesn't actually sleep, just acts like it.
