MENTOR

Name: 8334 - Vin

Gender: Male

Age: Twenty-Three (23)

Appearance:
Vin is a rather short boy standing at only 5'4" with a very lean and muscled body. He is incredibly tan with several black tribal tattoos across his body; the most noticeable tattoo is the number "8334" on the back of his neck. His identity number. Vin often never wears a shirt and only wears baggy shorts with several pockets, kept on his thin frame by a leather belt. His hair is extremely long, reaching past his waist and two colored, the top a bright blue and below a raven black. His hair is in dreads in a few places, but that is not to say he is unclean. His eyes are a dark brown, almost appearing to be black upon a quick glance.

Personality:
Vin is rather serious when it comes to training. Giving little slack when someone messes up more than a couple times. Though Vin does know when a little more TLC is needed to motivate. Outside of training Vin is very relaxed, often vegging out up on a ledge or eating. Boy, for someone so scrawny he can eat a lot. Vin is very down to earth and caring, more mature than most people twice his age. He has a kind wisdom about him that is almost strange coming from someone who is well.. looking like Vin does. Another notable trait about Vin is his seeming lack of fear. He always seems confident and unwaivered by any sense of fear no matter the situation.

Brief biography:
Vin was born in Dome Four in the poorer end of the district. Most people don't know about how bad it gets in the poor district as most avoid it. The entire area is made up of a coal mine, industrial facilities and tiny homes. The coal dust hung so heavy in the air that quite a few children died from it coating their lungs. They say that is the reason people from the poor district are so dark skinned, because the coal in the air stains their skin. They are given hardly enough to eat and most families have to sell one of their children to the government to get food for a few years. Vin just so happened to be one of those sold children. They are raised in a poor housing with minimal staff to take care of the children. Once they are eight they are put to work in various facilities within the Dome. Then when they get strong enough they are sent to the Coal mine. It was a tough, loveless life. Once they are sold to the government their name is stripped from them and they are given a number, Vin was to young to remember his real name before he was sold. He was given the number 8334, it permanently tattoo'd onto the back of his neck. They also receive rather intricate looking tattoos across their bodies when acting up. Marking them as a bad child that needs to be watched. Vin received several of these tattoos.

The day 8334 was meant to be transferred to the Coal Mine, at age 12, he escaped and fled into the abandoned and rundown buildings to hide. He was always a quick and agile little bugger. There he flourished, taking on the name Vin. Whenever he was hungry he stole food, easily escaping with his tremendous skill with parkour, knowing the run down areas left and forgotten like they were his own kingdom. Because in truth it was. He had become the king of the forgotten, Lord of the unknown. For once no one could stop him and tell him what to do. When he was found, at the age of 20, by the couriers they noticed his skills while fleeing several guards. One of the recruits located him and offered him the job as a mentor. To teach those how to maneuver as he did in an urban/industrial environment.

Extras:
Bring him food and he will be nice to you. Pretty simple lol.
Hey guys! Sorry! Got kinda busy! I will have Vin done tomorrow for sure!
I believe there is a site but I forgot what it is xD Look through the last couple pages, there should be some link

Huh okay. Or Arnack could you know help out again... *cue Arnack's lecherous smile*

Seriously though if you've got some time we could collab a little for something to do as the arrivals... attempt to kill each other possibly.

Lol well Alina wouldn't be doing any introduction yet until she heals a little and certainly never attempt harm on anyone lol

And Why I am awaiting Oscar/Inspector is because he is currently kneeling at Alina's side asking what he can do to help. Would be rude for Alina to ignore him and go calling for Arnack to instead help lol Though I am sure the dwarf would love nothing more than an Alunei calling after him :P
I am awaiting approval/instruction from Inspector to move forward with the Oscar/Alina interaction
It's not much but I hope it works lol
~Alison

Alison stood near the railing along the side of the rather large boat that skimmed over the water. Her hair was pulled back into a loose ponytail and the loose strands danced in the rushing breeze. Alison didn't have anyone with her during the trip to the Islands. She had broken up with her long term boyfriend a couple weeks prior to the trip, thinking she needed a vacation and away from the drama back home. She sighed as she tried to ignore the memories. She took a sip of her bottled drink, some sort of wine cooler with a tropical flavor. It tasted quite delicious and four of them gave her a little buzz. Or maybe a little more than a little buzz. But she held herself together fine. Right? Sure....

Suddenly a voice came from behind Alison, a rather deep and charming voice if she were completely honest. She certainly had to see who matched the voice. She turned around to face the man, a soft smile touching her lips. Jack pot. "No, first time." She admitted with a soft laugh. "It was sort of an impromptu vacation. You see I just broke up with my boyfriend." Then the realization she just brought up drama to a new guy. 'Oh god.... How embarrassing...' She thought as she took another drink to keep from talking.

"Sorry. You know. About that thing. Let's start over!" She took a deep breath as if to settle her nerves. She then stuck out her free hand to shake in greeting. "My name is Alison. It's my first time on the Island. You're beautiful. I mean! It's beautful! The island! The islands beautiful..." she moaned sadly, she was such a klutz with words. Her wine cooler wasn't helping her.
~Nikki

Nikki sat away from everyone else. Like Carla she was dragged here to the islands against her will. She lost her father last year and her mother thought it would be a good idea to bring the two on vacation so they didn't sit around at home dwelling on her fathers one year anniversary of his death. Nikki tried acting as if it didn't bother her but it did. It hurt her a great deal and behind her closed off appearance she was torn up inside. Her father was her best friend, she told him everything and he was there for her whenever she was sad. Then he was gone. He fell asleep at the wheel after working a double. He had to take the extra shift to afford Nikki's college fees. Something she always blamed herself for.

Nikki was on the scuba adventure for the simple reason of getting away from her over bearing mother. She never gave Nikki a spare moment to be alone. And she thought scuba diving, something she knew her mother would never do, might be a nice opportunity to get away. Something caught Nikki's attention, across the deck an older man taking away the iPod from some girl. The way they interacted were as if they were father and daughter but their ages seemed more like brother and sister. The girl seemed just like Nikki, dragged along to something she didn't want to do. As the male left Nikki pushed herself up and made her way over to the girl. Without and introduction she took a seat next to the girl. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a small blue iPod with a white headphone cord wrapped around it. She handed it over towards the girl.

"Here. I have a little bit of everything so you might find something you like." She offered in a soft tone. "So you were dragged along on vacation too, huh?"
Working on a post :)

Oh nothing. Just making obscure comments about the baddies of Enduwin.

Also, I think the Alunei has an admirer. :)

Woo! admirers! xD Haha Do you mind if I sort of puppet Oscar a little? I was going to have Alina ask him to tear up the herbs and mix it with a little water. Mind if I just play that out in my post?

EDIT: Or would you like to do a sort of collab?
