I think I may post again tonight, or at least try, something has appeared in mind, something I MUST write about.

Also, why do i get the feeling someones going to shanghai Scalpel into fixing Winterjet, I ain't aversed but I am intrigued.
I sort of figure the Alicorns are beings of pure energy with simply a flesh-like casing surround them in this material realm, which is why healing comes so easily to them, as technically its a bit like slapping on some clay to a damaged clay statue, thus their bodies aren't exactly flesh and blood in the biological sense and easier to return to proper form.
Looks like Equestria will enjoy seapony steaks and calamari for dinner... also the sea ponies you described sounded like they'd have trouble moving on land.
Weirdly I am the opposite, I go out of my way to make my characters lives living hell, I have to tone it down a lot.
