@Aweirdgamer Just to clear anything up, I'm planning for the Snow Brutes and Platta to be friends. Maybe have Platta supply dyes and help with agriculture and such. In turn, Snow Brutes would defend and fight for the Platta, considering the only race they could probably kill is a Yelb. Just plans for the future. You have any problems with this? Or any way this would interfere with anything you're doing?

Anyone want to start something similar? So our NSs don't go unused?
@TheSovereignGrave That's true. Then again, if you're looking for realism then a place where different timelines converge is a weird place to look. But I also assumed there'd be a lot more panic, confusion, trying to figure out what happened. I mean, what nation would get transported to a new place and automatically threaten everyone? Your characters don't even know who the hell the other people are. They could have missiles that decimate your nation before they even finish listening to that message. I guess all we can do now is see if it improves at all.
@TheSovereignGrave If it makes you feel better you could say that the best linguists in their respective nations studied the message and managed to match it to the version that existed in their world and were then able to decipher it to the point where it is roughly understandable.

Type of Government: Dual Republic (two leaders of equal power are elected. The two Semis (halves) create the laws together and lead the nation. If a law or decision cannot be agreed upon the citizens take a tie breaker vote.)
Brief History (2 to 3 paragraphs minimum): This history is exactly the same as our own until 1837. This is the year that a part Canada attempts to start a revolution and make Canada a Republic. In this history, the uprising gets support from Canada's citizens and even America. The two initial fire fights transform into a full blown revolution, with the goal being freedom from Britan. With American help, Canada wins her freedom from Britan and quickly forms a Republic. Everything is prosperous for Canada for many years, even outbidding the U.S. for Alaska.
In 1901, Canada and Greenland sign a defense pact. In this history, Greenland invades and takes over Iceland in 1839. During 1908, Iceland attempts to start a revolution against Greenland, so Canada also hops in to defend her friend. A few countries do not like two higher powered countries bullying one small one, so some nations join Iceland's side, while others support or join Greenland and Canada, this starting World War 1. The Pact consisted of Canada, Greenland, Russia, Germany, Britain, and France. The opposition, named the Allies of Freedom, consisted of Iceland, USA, Mexico, Italy, China, and Japan. The war was brutal and bloody, so brutal that most countries pulled out, leaving only the original three combatants. The three countries agreed that more fighting was not necessary.
So, in 1913, they sat and came up with an out of the box treaty.
The three countries would combine to form a union, where all three countries were equal. They would share equal wealth, taxes, and laws also, to ensure equality, two voted leaders from any of the three countries would serve equally. It took 3 years to organize everything, but eventually the treaty was complete. The Great Northern Alliance was born.
Everything was peaceful with the GNA until years after the First World War, in 1926, a leader emerged in Britain, blaming it's current crippling debt on Greenland and it's inability to control it's domains. Britain, lead by Adam Hitlemson, declared war on the GNA. Nations quickly picked sides, thus beginning the 2nd World War. The Allies consisted of the GNA, USA, Germany, Russia, and China. The Enforcers consisted of Britain, France, Italy, and Poland. The war was long and bloody with one of the highest death totals ever. During the tail end of the war, it was discovered that Hitlemson had been mass killing those of Nordic descent. Britain was invaded and occupied, Hitlemson was captured and put to death by the GNA, and the other countries quickly surrendered ending the war in 1939.
The Cold War happened as usual, only about 10 years sooner and it was the GNA instead of USA vs Russia. Peace followed for many years, until 2006. In 2006 Iran coordinated an attack on a highly populated business building. Many innocents are killed. The GNA quickly invade Iran, and occupy it for three years before letting it go into a new government's hands. It has been peaceful for the GNA since then.

Main Import (Up to 3): Food, Cloth, Plastic
Cultural Description (2 to 3 paragraphs minimum): The citizens of the GNA are very honored to be a citizen. They say they're nationality with pride. Serving in the military is honorable and is seen as a proud thing to do.
Fitness takes a huge role while heathly restaurants overpower fast food mightily. A decent work out video will make more than a blockbuster movie. Equality is a huge thing in GNA culture, keeping everything fair is very important to them. Racism was never an issue because of this. All religions and races are accepted.
Main Religion: 30% Christain, 30% Atheist, 15% Jewish, 15% Muslim, 10% other.

Biography (2 to 3 paragraphs) Isaac was born to two loving parents who pushed him to work hard and achieve his goal. His goal was to become a Semis of the GNA. Plenty of people laughed at him, ridiculed him, and bullied him. He stuck it out.
It was with this election that he showed his hard work paid off for the smooth tasking, energetic young man.

Snow Brutes
Era of Dud's Great Tribe
Population: 260 in Village, 24 going South, 1 left of Eastern Group
Faw does attempt to draw on the cloth, and finds that she does enjoy it. However, the explanation of all the multitude of colors and what they mean confuses her, so she quickly gives up on trying to learn that. Then, looking at the dyes, Faw gets an idea. She Remembers how Brutes would cake themselves in dirt whenever hunting or (before the Great Tribe) warring in the less snowy parts of her land to blend in like their white hair does in the snow. She points at the dyes, specifically the brown and different shades of green, then to her hair, then to the environment. "Brute...", she grabs the cloth that was just drawn on and places it on her arm, showing how they are the same color, then, in her own language, says, "Blend." She is indicating that she would like to try to use the dyes (or have the Platta use them) to make herself the color of the environment and be able to blend in.

In front of the Southern group, Hof examines the spear. He notes the weight difference between the Cindorayi spear and his own, along with the pure beauty of the thing. It doesn't look as fearsome as the Brute's own spears, however. Hof calls a tool maker to his side and commands him to quickly study the new weapon.
"Light. Good for throwing maybe. Pretty. Better hunting than war, probably." were his observations.
"You part of tribe...?", Hof says, curiously.
Then, realizing they probably don't understand him, he points at the Cindorayi, then himself. Then he waves in the direction of the group behind them and shrugs his shoulders.

Back in the village the tool makers are working hard to figure out this new rock.
"Shiny. Harder than normal rock... Maybe used for weapons. But rock don't break new rock... Can't shape into weapon... Maybe try... Freezing rock?", Rog wonders aloud.
In the center of the village, a Brute child is wearing a Jek skull and pretending to be a Jek while other children "hunt" him with bones that resemble Snow Brute weapons, while Dud observes. The child wearing the skull charges one of the other children and calls out "Dead!". The "dead" child roars out in frustration.
"Me always killed first!", he screams and brings down the curved bone he is wielding upon the other child's head.
Dud rushes over to check the downed child. When he arrives to the small Brute he sees that the skull the little one is wearing has a sizeable hole in it. But, he is somewhat amazed as the child pulls off the skull and is unharmed.
Dud wonders why this may be, and comes to the conclusion that the skull could protect adults in war and hunting like it did the child. Perhaps other parts of the Jek could be used to this effect, like the hide.
