Very interesting list, a few random thoughts and highlights from me:
- Never seen Simipour at #1, Panpour almost top 10 and Pansear that high, so kudos for your original taste. Big Gen5 fan?
- Slowbro at #3 and Chandelure at #4 make me super happy, love their designs and personalities.
- I like how you have a very nice mix of different evolution stages and generations, makes it super diversified compared to other lists.
- Did you consider Mega-Evolutions for this? It's the only thing that's missing, and there is some cool designs I think.

Appearance: Olive is about 5,4ft tall and of slender build, with black shoulder-long hair and brown/greenish eyes. Her usual dressing style is pretty laid-back and skater inspired, preferring to wear graphic or flannel shirts, jeans and a pair of colourful vans, but she also likes putting on a dress every now and then during summer. Olive enjoys wearing a ridiculous amount of bracelets and has multiple piercings in both ears. Not many people know she needs glasses, as she usually wears contacts. She has a "secret", rather badly made little tattoo of a sunflower on her left hip.

Personality: Olive's personality can best be described as "loud". She is very cheerful and bubbly, loves to poke fun at anything and everything and tries to not take life too seriously. She usually spends all day outside: Skateboarding, although she is not especially good at it, as the drummer of an all-girls rock band (Echo of Obsession) or hanging out with friends. She is a loyal and trusting person, and will speak up when people are being bullied or mistreated in her presence. On the other hand, she enjoys being in the spotlight a little too much and hates feeling left out, which might lead to her injecting herself awkwardly in other people's conversations. She has trouble respecting and dealing with authority figures, and people might confuse her nonchalant attitude with a lack of interest in anything but herself. Might get physical if arguments really escalate.

Background: Olive is the daughter of Deborah and Mark and was born and has spent all her life so far in Redstone. Her childhood was fairly unremarkable as she was raised by very loving parents, her father worked as a cop while her mother stayed at home to take care of her. At 17 years old, things took a turn for the worse when she caught her dad cheating on mom in his cop car. At first she was too stunned to react, but that quickly turned to furious anger. She wanted to confront him then and there, but only held back because the thought of embarrassing her mother in public made her even angrier than what she just witnessed. So she went home and told her mother how she saw her own dad passionately kissing another police officer. In contrast to the anger Olive felt, her mother was too hurt by this to be angry. Deborah quietly embraced her daughter, crying, and told her everything would be ok.

Olive knew her mother wasn't the type to get physical or shout, but what she expected even less was how her mom forgave her dad in just a few days. She did hear them arguing a few times, but it was always in hushed conversations she couldn't hear, and eventually it seemed her parents had decided to just never mention the topic out loud ever again. This made Olive incredibly angry, as she herself couldn't ever imagine forgiving him for what he had done. Her father tried talking to her during those days, saying the same excuses she had heard from her ex before: "I didn't mean to", "She came onto me, I promise"...Olive couldn't even look at him, scared she might go ballistic if she were to see his face. Her parents tried acting like before the incident, but Olive could tell everything had changed. It all felt fake and cold to her now. She tried to talk to her mother a few times again, but it was futile. Deborah had decided to "forgive and forget". Olive hated that phrase.

The whole experience has soured romantic relationships for her, as she now finds it stupid to believe people can truly love each other so much, they would stay together forever. After finishing high school, she decided to study at the local college, unsure what to pick as a major, but considering music production or audio engineering as options. Long-term plans were leaving Redstone for a big city after college, but things would change when the paranormal starts.

Connections:
Mother Deborah and Dad Mark. More or less on speaking terms with mom, almost no contact with dad.
Childhood and Best Friend Rebecca. Play in the same band, hang out constantly.
Good Friend Elliot. Friends since high school, reputation of being a bit crazy, sells weed on the side.

Emerging Power: She can emit sound waves according to the emotional state she is in. Anger for example would be stronger, high bpm frequencies, calm would send out soothing, low frequency waves. The waves would only cause very weak physical reactions at first, but could increase in strength over a period of time, or maybe be able to transmit emotions to others and vice versa.

Personal Motivations: Olive has always been interested in supernatural stories, be it in movies, anime or videogames. Being a bit of an airhead, she would imagine herself also possessing some sort of otherworldly ability, so as things would start to happen to her and the town, she would probably start to slowly obsess over those events. If she found out there is a group of like-minded individuals, she would probably try to seek them out and join them.

It was during her 2nd summer at college that she stopped by Grace's coffeshop, randomly, as she was walking through town with a few friends. Olive wasn't the biggest fan of coffee, but the shop looked cute and comfy, and she was sure they'd have tea or something else she would enjoy on the menu. Once inside and seated, Grace took their order, and recommended Olive should try the "Chococino Delight" if she didn't enjoy the bitter taste of coffee. "It's mostly hot chocolate, whipped cream, some cinnamon and just a splash or two of espresso" Grace had said in her sweet voice, "I'm sure you'll love it" she giggled as she left their table towards the kitchen.

Very slowly over the next few days, Olive started feeling slight changes in herself, and whenever her emotions flared up, it felt like she could push small objects through some sort of vibrating power she could apparently manifest. Slightly freaked out about these developments, she considered telling her friends and seeing if anyone else was feeling...different. However, while she was still debating if opening up and sounding like a crazy person was the best course of action, she saw the mysterious flyers regarding Grace's coffee shop pop up around campus. This meant there had to be other people already experiencing similar, myterious things, and that she probably wasn't going crazy after all. She hadn't even considered that the sweet lady's shop could be connected to her power, but it dawned on her that her "symptoms" only started manifesting after their visit to the shop. Olive decided to attend the meeting, hoping to shed some light on what exactly was changing inside of her and what Grace's role was in all of this.

I've only recently joined a different small town horror RP, but I really like the set-up of this one, particularly everyone getting powers on top of the other mysteries we will come across, so I'd be in! I also agree that playing young adults could fit the general vibe of the story better and allow for more variety instead of everyone being a high school kid.

Will go ahead and come up with a concept since there is a CS now :)

Juan Francisco Perico

Name: Juan Francisco Perico
Nickname: Juanfra, Peri
Age: 29 (1975)
Occupation: Owner of the bodega (corner store) in town
Appearance: Juanfra is almost 6ft tall and has a rather strong build, owed to the physical nature of his work. He likes shaving his head bald, but keeps a nice full beard and has dark brown eyes. His go-to outfit is a pair of comfortable sneakers or boots, a pair of dark jeans and either a plain hoodie or sweater over a band or retro gaming shirt. Always wears his silver skull with green eyes earring, sometimes adds a cap or woollen hat depending on the weather. Has a small tattoo of a cute snake on his left wrist.

Personality: Juan is an optimistic and extroverted person who is usually cheery and very chatty. He likes striking up conversations with people in his bodega and is a good listener. However, he also tends to overanalysing what others in town might think of him and has difficulties forgiving people once they have wronged him. Juan is not easily angered and can take jokes just as much as he likes making them, but if you do push him too far he might end up exploding in your face.

Background: Juan is a 2nd generation immigrant to Mexican parents, born and raised in Santa Fe (NM). He had a sheltered and "normal" upbringing up until a tragedy struck his family when he was a senior in high school: His younger sister Laura went missing and was never found, which sadly also ended up tearing his family apart due to grief and anger. After the divorce, his dad stayed in Santa Fe while Juan and his mother moved to Havenwood to take care of his grandma Maria, who owed the bodega at that time. He started helping out there as his mom took over, as his grandma had gotten too old to manage it herself. This also meant he had to sacrifice his dreams to go to a large college and make something out of himself, but he accepted that to keep at least a part of his family together. Since then he has become the manager of the bodega to allow his mom to take of grandma full-time and has moved to a small but nice little apartment right above it. He has also made a few friends since moving here and does feel integrated in his nearby community, but is unsure if this is really the place he wants to spend the rest of his life. He dreams of one day leaving Havenwood and see as many parts of the world as possible, but is scared of what might happen to his family in his absence.

The Touch: Ever since they were children, Juan and his sister Laura have suffered from auditory hallucinations. They would hear voices speaking in soft whispers, but couldn't understand the words the majority of the time. More unsettling, every now and then the soothing whispers would be replaced with guttural sounds that seemed to be a song, and although they could make no sense of it, these songs felt soothing and familiar. As children they talked to their parents about this on multiple occasions, but no doctor could ever confirm anything to be wrong with the siblings. Eventually the pair stopped mentioning it to others, but would talk about it at length amongst them if the sounds got too intense or weird. After Laura disappeared, it became easier for Juan to understand the whispers, sometimes able to make out words or even sentences. Most of them end up being nonsensical listings of seemingly unrelated words.
Weaknesses: Juan's biggest weakness is that he can react emotional a lot of times he should be rational, and is prone to overreaction rather than taking things calmly. He is confident in his day to day, but can get down and have bouts of self-doubt when alone at night, plagued by questions regarding his future and if he is wasting his life in this town. The fact that his sister's disappearance was never solved has created a need to protect what remains of his family and a big hole he has never been able to fill despite his tries to distract himself with alcohol or the occasional drug.
Motivations: He hopes to be there for his family and protect them from anything happening to them. At the same time, he has dreams of one day visiting all the interesting places he has seen in books and movies, yearning for freedom and not feeling bound to a specific place or obligation.
