Haha, I would never do that, he is a complete badass!
Is the bartender at Cinder the Zeke Dunbar?
Name: Evelyn ‘Eve’ Blackbourn
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Evelyn stands at around 5 feet 6 inches, with sharp (yet at the same time semi-roundish) features that makes her resembles more the image of a tomboy than anything female and curvy, with an athletic body that has toned muscles and a minimum amount of fat - albeit still with enough to make her look healthy. She isn’t some sort of fitness-junkie, instead her body is the result of her tough lifestyle: she lives alone in an abandoned building full of drug addicts, the poor and the homeless. Her skin isn’t brown, but nor is it fair, she sees sunlight daily as she goes through the streets and her skin clearly shows this with a faint honey tone. Her hair is perhaps her most outlandish feature: it is colored in a light red with tones of pink and dark brown in it. She has cut in it a wild fashion - more a statement of her strong nature than anything else, around her left ear it is completely shaven, while the rest can reach down to the middle of her back. She has icy blue eyes that shows how tough her life has been: they will pierce you whenever she gets the slightest bit suspicious.
All over her body she has various piercings, markings and tattoos she has gotten for various reasons - although she rarely talks about these reasons, instead just ignoring the questions about them.
She usually wears a light shirt with a short-armed grey hoodie over her. A pair of used dark blue denim pants covers her legs with a pair of used, slobby tied pair of tall, dark grey Converse sneakers plastered with all kinds of colorful drawings and markings. She also wears a few bracelets, mostly made out of used items she has found/robbed and a necklace that is obviously too shiny for a street-girl like her: it is a thin well made silver chain that reaches down to her chest. It holds an artfully designed circle that reflects anything in its dark silver mirror. You can often find her wearing a pair of fingerless leather gloves painted in a dark brown color.

Side: InFamous

Personality: Evelyn is an interesting character: she hides behind layers of lies and deception, usually appearing energetic and wild - always ready for something fun and exciting and never taking anything too seriously. She is a real teaser; she loves to joke around and play with people - getting those around her annoyed is a particular habit of hers (and she quite enjoy it) - this often means that she doesn’t really make the best first hand impression to those that have just met her, however this is a defense mechanism she has developed.
Eve was abandoned, hunted and imprisoned, she is full of hate and mistrust, she absolutely hates those that have imprisoned her and believe that nothing but pain and death would be the correct punishment for what they did to her - even those that wasn’t there specifically to hurt her. This also extends to non-conduits, while she doesn’t hate them (other than the ones that publically are against conduits), she does think that they are ‘lesser beings’ that conduits. In her view conduits are the new rulers of the world, they are the ones that have evolved and as evolution dictates: it is the fittest that survive, and in this case the conduits are the fittest, they are the next stage. This view of the world also means that she can be rather cruel to those that opposes her, often getting into fights - and even killing those that she sees as ‘enemies’. She is also very sceptical of new people, she never really trusts anyone entirely - although she does make it seem like she does.
What she is really afraid of, is that someone will find out how scared she really is. She was from a young age hunted by those that thought conduits were the devil’s agents. This resulted in her being so cruel and hurt at the same time - in the dark parts of her life she can often break down, crying for her lost parents and the pain she has experienced. This is the true reason why she is like she is.

Biography: Evelyn Blackbourn grew up in a family filled with love, however they were neither rich nor poor. Her parents lived in a small apartment in Empire City, her dad was a businessman and her mother was a secretary. They didn’t stand out to anyone, they just lived peacefully for themselves. However this all took a turn when she turned seven. The Ray Sphere shook the city, leaving everything changed after the explosion - and for their little family this was the beginning of end of their lives. Both Evelyn and her father carried the conduit gene, turning them both into conduits and while her mother didn’t she stayed with them. For little Evelyn this was first incredibly exciting: suddenly she could do all the things that they did in the books she used to hear about from her parents, she was going to become a superhero; the saviour of mankind!
However things didn’t go as little Eve planned, instead as the crime rose and it turned into what could best be described as a battlefield they began to fear for their lives. So they ran, they fled and left everything behind, hoping somehow to make it to safety - but quickly it became apparent that conduits was feared and hunted, they could no longer live their carefree lives no matter where they fled to.

Over the course of the next seven years they ran, never living more than a few months in each town they came across, fearing what the locals would do if they figured out what they really were: conduits. After these two painful years their feet took them to Seattle - hoping that in a bigger city they would be able to live under the radar in peace. Of course they were wing, very wrong. Just after a few months in their new place Brook Augustine came with her DUP soldiers. At first Eve's family did okay, catching the many conduits that lived in the city meant that they could hide themselves with relative ease, however they made one crucial mistake: they stayed despite the dangers, believing that they somehow could escape the DUP and not run once more. Of course this didn't happen, it only took the DUP a few weeks to track them down, but instead of surrendering Evelyn’s family fought back: trying to force their way to freedom just to escape the chains of Curdun Cay but of course this was futile, a conduit and his loved ones cannot fight the might of the DUP, but before giving up Evelyn’s father attempted one last try to save his family, sacrificing himself in order for his wife and daughter to escape. At first it appeared to be a success, allowing his wife to carry a crying Evelyn away, but this only lasted 9 months. During this time Evelyn slowly regained her energetic spirit - and in the wake of this also discovering what a great playground Seattle is for a conduit. This was the birth of her abilities: she slowly learned to control it, often getting into bad situations like stealing, grafitti etc., utilizing her ability to easy escape. Of course this drew in the attention of the DUP and one fateful afternoon they cornered her, catching her off guard as she was being questioned for shoplifting, taking her to Curdun Cay, where she was caged in like an animal and experimented on and trained for the next many years. Even today Evelyn have no idea what happened to her mother.

After many years, and only when Curdun Cay was closed down, was she let go. Not having seen the world for so long and with a new hate for those that had tortured her, she felt lost, and over the next year and a half she traveled through America, living off stealing and hiding in the dark corners of the world where only criminals survive. This further developed her hate towards anything that didn’t fit into her sense of ‘justice’, but as the world grew more and more open between the conduits and the ‘norms’ (a slang she had picked up during her time in Curdun Cay), her worldview grew more and more radical. It was when she was passing through New York City that she first heard of the movement called ‘The Syndicate’. These psychos went against everything she believed, and as such she has done everything in her power to crush them ever since she first came in contact with them. It should also be noted that as time has gone by, Eve has had various dealings with the underground movements throughout America - and holds various good and bad relations to various groups and people.

Power: Spacetime (based on the idea of Albert Einstein’s general relativity-hypothesis)
Power-:
Teleportation: The most used ability Eve has at her disposal is the ability to teleport. Basically she disrupts the space and time around her (technically she opens a rift to another space and time, i.e. dimension) and alters the time and space around her, because of this she is able to move from place to place without physically moving there.

Rift: This is closely related to her ability to teleport, what it really is, is that Eve opens up a rift, but instead of entering it, she keeps it open for a brief second, allowing her to absorb any object that enters the rift. What this means is that she is able to use it as a form of shield, defending her against bullets and objects thrown at her. The downside to this is that if she keeps it open for more than a split second the energy drain becomes proportionally larger for every second. Because of this she is forced to time it correctly, or she will either lose too much energy, or she will be hit if she is too slow to react.

Disrupt: Eve is able to alter the space and time around her, slowing down or speeding up the things in a meter radius around her. This allows her to more easily observe and defend herself against most melee combat, while it also allows her to punch/kick harder and faster than normally. The biggest flaw of this ability is the range and the energy it consumes: the more she disrupts, the more energy she uses.

Other: She has a fondness for liquor, cigarettes, chocolate and coffee. Not together of course.

Evelyn is also very well trained in a mixture of martial arts, and is indeed a very good close combat fighter. It is unknown how she has become such a strong fighter, however being a fast thinker and used to rough situations, she has become naturally good at utilizing the environment to her advantage. However she doesn't use guns, in fact she hates them, which means that she has yo get close to an opponent in order to fight them.
Yea - with tanks and planes and guns! It is going to be awesome!
On a more serious note: I've been in roleplays that puts all the accepted character-sheets in one spot under the forum "Character sheets".

Although its a little condensending at some point in the story I want to tell how he got the mercenary suit. And why he wears it.

I bet that is an interesting story!

Edit: would a centralized character-spot be a good idea?
It was one of those days that most people would put on the label “great day!” in bright colours. It consisted of everything that would make most people’s morning just that much better: the sun was up, the air was warm and there wasn’t a single cloud on the sky over New York City - oh and the birds, let us not forget the birds: they sang the song of happiness that flew with the wind like its hosts. It was this song that was carried through her window by a weak breeze and woke up the girl within the room on the 7th floor in an ‘officially’ abandoned house that was positioned relatively close to South Street. The building was an old building that would have been torn down by the city council if it wasn’t for the fact that it was a popular residence for those that had no home, drug addicts and the poor. Among these different social groups there were of course also those that were on the edge with the law, and Evelyn Blackbourn - or ‘Eve’ as she went by in most circles - was just that kind of person: she was, in crude terms, a criminal. She didn’t have a job and barely did anything other than what she felt like - only robbing banks for the things she just couldn’t live without: sweets, coffee and liquor. Of course she could also steal these items without much trouble, but, at least for her beloved caffeine, you just couldn’t steal a proper Frappuccino - plus for some unknown reason Eve liked the interaction with the baristas, especially those at Starbucks.

It was this song of the birds that woke her up, the sun was blazing in through the half opened window and the sounds of life rushing by down in the streets were a soothing buzz that never died out in NYC. It took Eve a few seconds to realize where she was: it was bright, dry and she had a major hangover.

“Damnit!” She cried loudly, immediately regretting it as the echo of her own voice ricocheted back to her making her head throb even more that it had already been. “gaah…” she moaned, rocking back and forth on her bed with her hands rubbing her eye-sockets, “Why did I go to that club last night?” she groaned to herself, but soon it dawned on her: she had gotten so drunk with some people she met last night - and then went to a club with them.
Quickly she jumped up and tossed the rest of the blanket that covered her king-sized bed, a sigh of relief was the next thing that could be heard: she was alone.
“Well at least that is one good thing that went right” Eve laughed to herself, immediately regretting doing such a thing as the hammers inside of her head began working once again.
“Ahh… coffee” she moaned holding her head with her right hand, “...coffee and a bath”.

Because Eve really didn’t have anything to do that day - she had robbed a small bank on the other side of the harbor the day before, which was the reason why she had felt she deserved a fun night out last night - so she took her time. After an hour and a half she was strolling down the sidewalk of one of the busier streets, in her hand was a freshly made Frappuccino she had just gotten from a Starbucks that was well known among the conduits for being… ‘nicer’ towards them; even going as far as treating conduits as actual workers, and the sun had settled in nicely in the blue sky - even for someone that was so filled up with rage as Evelyn Blackbourn, this was indeed a nice day.

But as Eve had come to know so well from her own life, things rarely stays the same - and in just seconds after Eve had started whistling the tunes that flowed into her ears from a pair of earphones, the sound was pierced with the sound of an all too well known sound: the shrieking of the conduit siren. Most people - even conduits - had started to fear this sound; it welcomed in the event of a rogue conduit causing problems through the streets of New York City - however Eve hated it for another reason: It was the symbol of the suppression of conduits, it signalled the call for conduits to go against their own wills and fight against people of their own kind. “You have the obligation to take care of you own!” - was what the spokesperson had said, but what a sham it truly was; it was just excuses to get conduits to fight conduits.
“Conduits versus conduits - the perfect showdown, coming to you on channel 4!”
Eve could almost hear the excited broadcaster exclaim these words to the masses over the loud roars of the excited crowd. It made her feel like she was going to puke up that delicious Frappuccino she had just bought.
“If society had really accepted conduits they should let us live as free beings” Eve muttered to herself, but of course this wasn’t a popular belief, even among conduits: most of them would rather live peacefully than to extend their hand out to what was rightfully theirs. “Ugh,” Eve coughed, “just the thought is giving me a bad taste…”
Shaking her head lightly - and thanking the painkillers for dulling her headache - she looked up, in order to gain an idea where this rogue conduit was having all the fun. Quickly she located the dull sounds of what appeared to be cars being thrown through the air and crashing into the street. She began to take a step forward with her right foot, but before her feet landed on the street she had disappeared, instead planting her foot on the rooftop of a building overlooking the area of the alarm: A tornado hurled through the streets of New York, tearing up anything in its way - and the awesome conduit causing all this chaos would have had so much more success if the siren hadn’t brought in the bloody X-men: soft and weak-norm-loving conduits that fought with all their might in order to bring down the one conduit that had dared to reach his hand towards freedom. It would go without saying that Eve didn’t participate in the fight; she didn’t see the point in defending the one conduit, nor did she feel like rescuing the weak - and she could care less for the reward money, if she needed them she could just steal them from the government. So instead she quickly disappeared yet again, this time arriving closer to the situation, and just in time to see something you don’t often get a chance to observe: a lightning bolt shot through the air, sending the rogue conduit flying into a nearby alleyway.
“Well well,” Eve mumbled to herself, taking a loud sip of her drink, “looks like the X-men won”, but instead of running away as she would usually do this extreme showcase of power had peaked her curiosity: who were the people making up this team of crime-fighters? With these questions in mind she trailed after what was presumably a burnt corpse by now, and arrived at a rooftop a few floors above the alleyway that the conduit had fallen into.
When she got there it wasn’t the increasing crowd that the event had summoned, the X-men nor the burning corpse. No, it was the man wearing a clean suit and the mask of her enemy that she would never forget: The Syndicate.

“The Syndicate sends it’s regards.” He said.

It wasn’t until the voice penetrated the air that Eve came back to the real world, as soon as she had laid her eyes on the figure any conduit would have known, her mind went blank. It was a mixture of fear and revenge: she wanted to kill everything this single being stood for, yet she also feared what the man could do to her. Her ears ringed with the sound of excitement, but before she could have done anything too drastic the man was swallowed by the shadows and had escaped her.

With a sigh she sat down, letting her legs hang off the edge of the roof, taking another loud sip of her delicious Frappuccino she watched the X-men break up, watching them intently as they began to depart - she wasn’t sure if any of them had spotted her, but she sure did watch them intently.

“Well done X-men” she said with a big grin that would fit that of a hunter, “seems like you took down the big bad conduit, but I do wonder if you dare going against that monster…” she wondered to herself. That was the first time that she had seen The Syndicate with her own eyes - and they were just the monster she had thought they were.
"Now," she spoke a little louder, "I wonder what will happen at Cinder..."
With each word spoken, her grin grew bigger.
